Love is in the air
2008-02-11 10:36:00
Ahem-Hope you people are busy preparing for Valentine's day! Well, I have no reason to celebrate Valentine's day(I'm single, currently), but I did think about doing something unique and good. I'm going to forgive each one who have hurt me and those who have been hurt by me. Of course, a lot of my hurts were during my college days when I was in full spirit and happiness. Relationship was not in

More on the Microsoft deal
2008-02-10 05:37:00
This is the continuance of my version of the Microsoft -Yahoo takeover drama.Yahoo! Inc has spurned the offer by Microsoft corp. after concluding that the unsolicited offer( $ 44B) undervalues them. The only possibility that Microsoft can convince Yahoo is in increasing it's bid which is originally valued at $31 per share. But, Yahoo offers them if they price their bid to $40 per share, which is

Bright colors
2008-02-08 13:24:00
Hello everyone(like I've always said it!).It just sprang in my mind to greet all of you who are going to read this post, all of a sudden! Anyway; I have nothing much to say since I've been shopping(and thankfully not until I dropped) and had a good time. I was also checking out cotton shirts of formal wear and this particular color-which is bright(but not florescent) caught my attention. Bright

You are being watched
2008-02-07 08:43:00
Blogs of mean a lot in the middle-east region, with the excuse that society is lame. This came to my awareness after a news column which appeared in the newspaper yesterday(read about it here) stating that Kuwait's ministry of Communications is going to monitor blogs and internet forums, with the primary reason of avoiding Amir bashing. It's not an issue if you are not into bashing Amir (Amir

Caught with no option
2008-02-06 13:29:00
The damaged internet cable buried in the middle-east region is causing a lot of inconvenience. Hence, I'm temporarily barred from visiting your blogs(sniff). I'm trying to add a new image in the blog header and it is not visible! It is possible to use the internet and pages with less graphics will load, but the one's with intense graphics take a lot of time-same in the case of blogs. Speaking

Yahoosoft
2008-02-04 08:53:00
The hottest news in the town is the new planned acquisition of Yahoo! Inc by Microsoft Corp.( for $42 billion) with the basic idea of toppling the internet rival Google. Good luck to the whole deal, I'm not a big fan of Google either (except for using the blogger account) and use most of the Yahoo services for mail, weather and many more. This deal might help them compete better against Google

What does it take?
2008-02-03 03:31:00
Did you realize that Valentine's day is around the corner? Well, I haven't because I don't need to! Anyway; being a 'Knight in Shinning amour' is a lot than what we did think of or what is being portrayed my many people around. People do make a lot of choices when it comes to being with another person (for the basic need of being together) and some of these choices are based on cultural or

Astronaut Farmer becomes real
2008-01-28 03:33:00
Astronaut Farmer is one of my favorite movie since it does tells us that dreams can be made possible. But for Richard Branson, it was more like a challenge! Thanks to Mr. Richard Branson and Burt Rutan, space tourism isn't a fantasy anymore. SpaceShipTwo is the vehicle unveiled by them which promises to take a handful of rich tourist into suborbital joy rides(something like roller coaster in

Going on
2008-01-27 05:15:00
I don't know what and whom to blame for my slump in blogging! Looks like I'm on the verge of blogging less, since I've been meeting people offline. The pros in meeting people offline is that you can keep it going on and on unlike offline, where replies are instant. Instant replies are fine but the truth behind it can't be assessed immediately. Very few bloggers have their photo as their

A brief summary of the trip
2008-03-12 12:29:00
I'm not going to get you bored by reading why I took this trip, but I'll make the explanation short with a lot of graphics! This is where I had to go mainly in New Delhi and thanks to the delay, I made use of this extra time to go around! Delhi is an awesome place and most of the buildings which was built during the British empire's rule is still prevalent today. In fact, most of the

Thanks for those who have answered the pop quiz on your first thoughts about India. Coincidentally, quite a lot of photos which I've snapped describes your answers ! Maybe not exactly the way you would have thought it, but it is good enough to match them. Single in the City thinks of the jeweled dot on women's forehead; I couldn't click on a live woman and so this is an ideal replacement! This

Left behind
2008-03-14 13:04:00
One of the joys of traveling or going on a vacation is that you can be away from all the hassle which is bothering, but in a way least important! One of them for me is my email. I do send emails recapping what is happening to friends in college and high school, but majority of my emails are from social networking sites which I'm partially active, emails from employment websites (which I

Sniff and Scurry
2008-03-17 12:15:00
Ever seen rats sniffling and scurrying to the source of the incense? Do read this book to now how to adapt to change, just like the way rats do! This is one of the many books I read (it came to my attention recently) in the past week and it is amazing. What surprises me isn't the fact that this book is one of the best selling for a long time. The simplicity (I read that book in 30/45 minutes

"It is costly"
2008-03-28 13:57:00
This was the words of the client whom I referred(which isn't my job, but did it out of enthusiasm). I did feel a lil bad about it, but it gave me a thought that he didn't do his homework before he planned on the dealing. Obviously, (for eg)if I'm planning to buy a car I don't jump in and get a corvette just because it looks nice and fancy. I first see whether I'm able to afford it or not.

7 deadly punishments
2008-03-27 00:15:00
The seven deadly sins is something which everyone is aware about and there is an interesting quiz in tickle website that evaluates which of the seven sins is most prominent in you (click here to take the quiz) What caught me was the legendary punishment for the seven deadly sins. They are as follows; The prideful person was broken on the wheel. The greedy person was soaked in boiling oil. The
