Hi, We are also a Kiwi family wanting to move to France . We can get access to EU passports thru ancestry(one of us Hungarian descent the other Italian descent). This makes it easier for us right? We can get jobs etc and won't need a visa? Thanks.

Thanks for that. Very interesting the price for the glasses would be about $1000-$1400 NZ money and the petrol would cost about $3 a litre which is more than we pay. Plus the info re the Healthcare is very helpful.

I can see the point about geographical isolation,being close to Antarctica hasn't got a lot going for it....though I like OZ a lot which as a kiwi you might not.One good thing that both NZ and France have in common is that they are both a good long way...

hello ...my comments about the USA are a bit tongue in cheek though you can see a noticeable difference between the anglo saxon approach to life and the french.France does not have simply chateaux and cheap wine but a different take on life altogether....
