Ryoko Shinohara Pregnant

Since as early as February, rumors have been floating around that actress Ryoko Shinohara is pregnant. ‘Fantastic Parasuicides’ Invited to Sydney Film Festival

  The Korean omnibus film &lsquo ;Fantastic Parasuicides’ has been invited to the 2008 Sydney International Film Festival in Australia. Producer and distributor Indiestory said it was unusual for festival organizers to invite a film prior to officially announcing the festival program. The Fantastic Parasuicides, which was also invited to the Pusan International Film Festival’s Wide Angle category, is an omnibus film which consists of three short films that come together under the common theme “suicide.” The three short films include ‘Three People in the Dark’ directed by Park Soo-yeong, ‘Fly Chicken!’ directed by Jo Chang-ho and ‘Happy Birthday’ directed by Kim Seong-ho. The annual Sydney International Film Festival is the largest film festival in the southern hemisphere that screens 300 films


Baby VOX Re.V to Release Album in 4 Languages

  The girl band Baby Vox Re.V, which has recently replaced two of its members, will release an album concurrently in several Asian countries. Aiming to become a pan-Asian star band, Baby Vox Re.V is recording the album in four languages: Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Thai. The songs of the album will be chosen specifically for each country based on their popularity among local fans. In a news conference, one of the band members said the band is soon to remake and release songs that have gained popularity in Thailand. She also added that the band will collaborate with famous Thai artists. Baby Vox Re.V will hold a showcase Dec. 1 in Japan and will participate in a Korean-Chinese song festival in Beijing Dec. 6.   The singer Star, loved by many for her heartbreaking ballads, is back with a special single album entitled ‘My Heart Knows.’ Written by composer Bang Si-hyuk and lyricist Kang Eun-kyung, who created numerous number one hits in the past such as Ivy’s ‘Must Be A Fool’ and Yangpa’s ‘What Is Love,’ ‘My Heart Knows’ is a ballad with lyrics and melody that are expected to appeal to many music lovers. Meisa Kuroki to star in “Subaru”

Masahito Soda’s ballet manga &ldquo ;Subaru &rdquo ; is being turned into a movie, led by Hong Kong director Chi-Ngai Lee and producer Bill Kong. The main cast was announced at a press conference in Shanghai, revealing that actress Meisa Kuroki has been given the starring role. The manga tells the story of Subaru Miyamoto (Kuroki), whose twin brother Kazuma suffers from a brain tumor at an early age. Through her visits to the hospital, she meets a small theater manager, Rei (Kaori Momoi), who trains her to become a ballerina. Kuroki had been trained in dance before, but not ballet. Since June, she has been taking three-hour ballet lessons almost every day. Momoi, on the other hand, studied at the Royal Ballet School in England for three years when she was a child. If confirmed true, the top Korean star, who is highly popular in Asia, will be gaining a significant partner in her advance to Hollywood. She finished filming ‘Blood: The Last Vampire’ in the US and is working on the Korean film ‘The Man who was a Superman’ at home. But she will return to the US later this year for automated dialogue replacement (ADR) work for ‘Blood.’ ADR will be done at Universal, which will also take part in the post-production film work. Currently, there is an upcoming GMA Network Philippine drama. It is still unknown if the series will be part of GMA Network’s Sine Novela, a remake of old films for television. Some rumors said it will be Rhian Ramos who will have the title role. But there are also rumors saying that this will be Marian Rivera’s next project after MariMar. I think it will be ineteresting if someone new will be the lead actress and i think the plot or the story will be good if they will add some new excitement or surprising events.

It is the second dance reality show of Billy Crawford after Move: The Search For Billy Crawford’s Pinoy Dance rs. It is scheduled to air on November 26, 2007. The Match will come into two phase: the search for the celebrity partner and the dance showdown itself. Unlike most dance-reality show, the series will not focus on a single-theme. Each contestants may compete to a genre of ballroom versus freestyle dancing. This will make judging the contestants a bit difficult than usual.
