It's back! 1970-01-01 00:59:59 My PC is back and doctor managed to save my data. But I still couldn't surf the net. Doctor is coming back tomorrow to check if it's a line or modem problem. Darn!

My PC is sick! 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I had a "sway' day. My PC was infected by virus. When the anti-virus software couldn't clean it, I accidentally click on the "rename' button and that's it. I could turn on my PC because one of the files was missing. I did a system recovery and it still couldn't work. Darn!So it's either reformatting the PC or call in the PC doctor. I can't reform my PC. I have too many previous data in it. No choice but to spend some money. Now I hope my hubby will get me the external hard disk I asked ages ago.
Hiccups 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I'm finally able to use my PC and surf the Net too. The doctor "gave' me a modem. I going to get my modem repaired and return this to him. I don't want to buy a new modem leh.My PC is not really back like before. I still need to do settings to my PC. It's sort of screwed-up. I'm now surfing the Net with everything in Chinese characters which I really had a hard time reading. I have to reload all the other software I need to use. I haven't even checked my emails. I don't even dare to go there now. I think at least 200 emails!
Phone repaired 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Sometime back 妹妹 threw my mobile and damage it. I could not work, just gave me a white blank screen. Today, she threw it again (because it wasn't working) and miraculously it was 'repaired'. 妹妹 had redeemed herself!

Good traits, good boy 1970-01-01 00:59:59 After eavesdropping on some aunties in the market :P, I realized 哥哥 could actually do a lot more than some of the children his age. I think this got to do us not having a domestic helper or an elderly person at home. Hence, there isn't someone to reply on. Although I do admit that some of the stuff he could do was through constant pushing and reminding. Sometimes I wonder if I have pushed him too hard. But it's for his good in the long run. I just wished he could do the same in his studies.Here are some of the daily stuff he has been doing since he was/before four:Change and bath on his ownPut his dirty laundry in the laundry areaFold and keep his own clothesMake his own bedPack the playroom at the end of the dayOrder his food with specific wants and don't wantsClear his dishes after eatingI hope he will influence his sister with his good traits because he sure can influence her with his bad ones. Revamped Refrigerator - The DIY way 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I recently removed all the fridge magnets for cleaning. After removing them, it reminded me how ugly my fridge is. It's all covered with the stain from the magnets. Patches of black marks. Now I remember why I still had those magnets. I couldn't stand the sight of it. I just had to do something about it.Guess what? I found cheap wallpaper and paste over it. Looks new now! 哥哥 asked why the fridge looks like the floor. Bleh!Ai ya! Bye-bye toys 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Last Sunday, we went to Ikea and bought a shelf. It was for the playroom to keep all the toys. It's better than stacking all the carton boxes but of course it will not be able to house all the toys we have. I was planning to sell some of the toys that the kids are not so interested in Ebay but papa said give them away, don't waste time. In the end, we gave away 4 fruit carton boxes of toys away. There are still boxes of bulky toys kept elsewhere. Papa said no more toys buying unless it's a special occasion. *bleh*
Show off! 1970-01-01 00:59:59 妹妹 can now climb up the stairs very well without support. I still do not dare to let her try climbing down as it's more dangerous. She can however get down on her own holding the railing. She no longer needs me to hold her. In fact, she doesn't want me to hold her. *hao lian!* (show off !)

So difficult to eat meh? 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Meal time for 哥哥 is hair pulling time for me. He takes a long time to eat and most of the time he can't finish it. Some times I wonder if I have given him too much to eat but how can he be eating the portion 妹妹 is eating? Some times, 妹妹 even eats more than him.Recently, I made up my mind to try making his meals interesting (was inspired by the bentos Japanese mummies made). Yes, more time is spent to prepare the food. But you know what? The effort paid off. I had made bento inspired meals for 哥哥 a few times now and he finished all each time. He still takes a longer time (compared to 妹妹) to finish it but at least I don't have to nag at him to eat. It also helps to make him eats vegetables.So having interesting looking food does help to improve appetite? Let's just hope this will last.

Chinese New Year visitings with the kids 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I didn't manage to finish all my cleaning before Chinese
New Year. But at least the place is clean and neat enough to receive visitors. My younger sister came yesterday afternoon with her boyfriend and 爸爸's mahjong kakis came over for their annual mahjong session (currently still in battle as I type!!) hahaha ... I'm expecting my classmates this coming Saturday for a gathering at my place. So I got to maintain current condition of the house *bleh*Anyway, we were out visiting for the past 2 days. If not, it's only a single word followed by baby talks.I've been waiting for her to speak the proper language. The best she can do now is probably 2 words type, 'Don't want' and 'See you' and the only 3 words, 'I love you' *grin*Today, Mrs Seah, 哥哥's school administrator gave 妹妹 a cupcake. Personal toy 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I sew 妹妹 a toy when she was a baby and was disappointed that she didn't like. But recently I don't know why she suddenly went to look for it and would carry it with her everywhere. Sometimes, when I push her in the pram, I could hear her counting the buttons on the cube. We, 爸爸，哥哥 and me, would sit in 3 different area in a form of a triangle and 妹妹 will run to each of us shouting hugggggg. Sometimes, she ran so fast, we had to fall back in case she get hurt 'banging' onto us. She is not the only one enjoying this, we all are!

This campaign, Safeguard the Web for Children, is a request all the “adult site” webmasters to have a password-protected login on porn sites for all the explicit materials and not to have “free clips”, “free tours” and/or “free pics” without login.I'm not sure if this will work but it's for a good cause.
