Corn Casserole Recipe 2007-11-23 20:30:00 This was the recipe that I made on Thanksgiving for Corn Casserole

A coworker had given it to me.Corn Casserole1 stick butter (melted)2 eggs2 boxes Jiffy corn bread mix2 cans cream corn2 cans whole kernel corn (drained)16 oz, container of sour creamMix all ingredients together & pour into a large rectanguler dish (at least 11" x 13"). The casserole will rise when cooking so be sure to not put it in a dish where it is to the top because it will overflow. Also don't forget to spray the pan before you pour in the mixture.Preheat oven to 350 & cook 45 minutes to an hour uncovered.Serve & Enjoy!

But without the competition. Each week, I would post the secret ingredient. Everyone would then have to post 5 recipes using that secret ingredient. 1. First and foremost, I miss my mom alot today. This was the first Thanksgiving that I have ever spent without her. 2. I spent the day with one of my sisters and her husband.3. We made French Toast for breakfast at 11am. Ok maybe that is brunch. But I love French Toast, especially with syrup and confectioners powder on it.4. We watched the parade while eating our French Toast. I normally watch one of the other parades on, but my brother-in-law loves the Macy's parade. To me, its mainly balloons with very little floats. 5. A neighbor dropped off a freshly baked pumpkin pie. It smelled yummy. I am not a big pumpkin pie eater though. I really have to be in the mood. And even then, I usually only eat a small piece.6. We put the turkey on to start cooking at 2:30pm. It was a small turkey breast, so it only needed 3 hours to cook.7. I made corn casserole. Sometimes I hate being right 2007-11-21 19:36:00 Well, last month was my birthday and two others from work as well. We were all skipped over for celebrating. I had blogged about it back then. I know I shouldn't be upset over something so trivial, but still it hurts.Anyway, tomorrow is another girls birthday. She is one of the in crowd. Guess who's birthday they celebrated today! Yep! Thats right. They came around asking for money to get her a cake. I refused. I am sorry, but if you aren't going to do it for everyone, then you shouldn't do it for anyone.Last month I had even said to a few coworkers that I bet they would celebrate VG's birthday. I should have bet money. I would have won.Oh well! I don't have to go back to work until Monday. I am not going to worry about it.

Where Do I Go? What Do I Do? 2007-11-20 18:28:00 Well, they changed my position at work yet again. I was told today that I am now the lead closer and will be working at the front desk. In a way I am glad, that way I know that everything is done for closing. I hate being in the back and not being able to start on my closing. Its so nice to get done early. We are already done with the closing. We are just waiting on MRI to finish with their last patient. Then we get to leave.Its just frustrating having our positions changed every few weeks or so. I guess it keeps us on our toes.

Living in Bizarro World 2007-11-27 09:00:00 Yesterday at work was extremely insane. It just seemed like all the patients had smoked some wacky weed or something before coming into our center. I gave one lady the sign in sheet and asked her to sign in and sit down. She decided to take the sign in sheet to sit down with her. So when the next person went to go sign in, we had to search for the sheet. She said she thought it was papers for her to fill out. She had been sitting there for ten minutes staring at the paper trying to figure out what she needed to do. How hard is it to see what to do on a sign in sheet? Most medical facilities have something like this. Wow!DP had brought a Christmas dog to work. Its this animated dog on a sleigh that when you squeeze its ear, it barks out Christmas carols. It was cute the first few times. However, every time we turned around, DP was squeezing its ear. It really got annoying after awhile.I was working at the front desk yesterday. Today's secret ingredient is sugar.Toffee Bars2 sticks butter1 cup brown sugar2 cups flour1 small bag chocolate chipsMix it all together, then pat it into a 9X13 pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350. Slice when hot. No Back Fudge Cookies1/2 cup margarine1/2 cup cocoa1/2 cup milk1 teaspoon vanilla2 cups sugarCombine all ingredients and boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 cup chopped nuts and 2 cups quick oats. Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper. Makes 4 1/2 to 5 dozen cookies. They will harden when cool.German Sweet Chocolate Cream Pie4 ounces German sweet chocolate1/3 cup milk2 tablespoons sugar3 ounce cream cheese (softened)3 1/2 cups cool whip (thawed)8 inch graham cracker crumb crustHeat chocolate and 2 tablesspoons of the milk in saucepan over low heat, stirring until chocolate is melted. Ruins of Kunark 2007-11-25 21:18:00 Well, I have spent quite of bit of time in Kunark lately. EQ2 is interesting again. At least until I reach 80 and get bored again. Krystae and I were running around in Kylong Plains today. We did a few quests there. Then we decided to get adventurous. We started running through some of the high end zones just to see what they looked like. We had to be really careful in some spots. We were able to invis through most of it, but there were some mobs that could see through invis. Yesterday I didn't play EQ2 at all. Instead, I was playing Vanguard. Krystae kept telling me how much it sucked. So even though I had gotten it, I just never got around to playing it. I think its a pretty decent game. Its not as bad as she says it is. I think that she is used to the class designations of EQ1 & EQ2 so she doesn't like this game. The Warden in Vanguard is much different then what she is used to. I am glad that I gave it a try. Home from work 2007-12-05 13:40:00 Well, I was sent home from work early today. I have been having pain in the right upper quadrant of my abdomen (that is on the right side right under the rib cage). I was worried it might be my gall bladder. I go to see my doctor tomorrow. However, its a good thing I work in a diagnostic center. They went ahead and did an ultrasound and KUB on me today. I went back and talked to the radiologist as he read the exam. He said that both exams were normal. So hopefully, we will find out what is going on tomorrow.
Secret Ingredient Tuesday #2 Rice 2007-12-04 20:41:00 This weeks secret ingredient is Rice. The only ones that I have used are from AllRecipes.com. My family had never been big on cooking rice when I was growing up, so I don't have any that were passed down like I had from last weeks recipes. Each recipe from AllRecipes.com was submitted to that site. So I even included who submitted them to that site to give those people credit. A New Start 2007-12-03 22:14:00 Time to get serious again. I just got my first Blood Glucose Monitor today. I am going to start monitoring what I eat and how I feel after eating. Plus I will be monitoring my blood sugar. Hopefully, this will get me on track. Since there was a Diabetes Awareness fair going on, I also got tons of literature. I am only borderline, but I don't want to become Diabetic. The doctor said that I am right at the cusp. If I lose weight and watch what I eat, then I will not become diabetic. However, if I eat wrong and don't lose the weight, then I can become diabetic any day.

I can never go right to sleep because the walk down the stairs always seems to wake me up a little bit. Anyway, I normally switch back and forth between Nick At Night or the Food Network. These are usually the only channels that have anything worth watching. I have gotten to the point that I don't even channel surf anymore. Last night, for some unknown reason, I started channel surfing. As I was flipping through channels, I was taken aback to see someone I knew on TV. The Infamous Picture 2007-11-30 19:41:00 I finally remembered to bring my camera to work today. So for those of you who remember the story of the lady who sees invisible cars, here are two photos of the picture. This first one was taken with the flash on. This second one was taken with the flash off. Unfortunately, you can still see reflections since the overhead lighting there is really powerful. Why is it only Wednesday? 2007-11-28 09:27:00 This week at work has been extremely weird. Thankfully today was really slow at work. We actually got to leave a little early. It was really nice. I forgot to bring my camera to work today. I wanted to take that picture. I will try to remember to bring it tomorrow. Sleuth part duex 2007-12-09 16:33:00 Woohoo! I finally figured out my password for my old character. Its not one I normally use. At least I can get back in and play on Wakela again. I also have the one I just created the other day. Her name is Sankara. So if anyone of you feel so inclined, feel free to message me in game. Unfortunately, since I had been gone for several months, the agency I was in, Ona Mission, had to boot me out to make way for new people. Agencies can only have so many people in them depending on their level. I just sent a message to one of the officers. Or so I thought. I had noticed that Stooby had sent me a message. I answered him back finally. Well when I did a little snooping around, I found out that he and a few others from Ona are now in a new agency. He is one of the directors. I am not sure how or why this happened. Oh well! I am sure that I will eventually join another agency.
An oldie from the past 2007-12-08 12:24:00 I just came across an old game that I used to play ages ago. It was a lot of fun. However, with everything that was going on in my life, I didn't have time to play games. So I had stopped playing it and forgot all about it. The game is called Sleuth. Its a free online game. Its a basic murder mystery game. You create a detective that you get to play through all of your cases. While creating your detective, you get to choose your detective's background. The background is what you were before you became a detective. The game is set in the detective noir era. It is all text based with a few pictures added for flavor. The game itself is free, however you can get a subscription to it. I had one on my previous character. I can't remember the password for that one though. So I had to create a whole new character. If you play for free, you get to play 4 cases per day and only stay in New York
