7 Important Tips to Prevent You From Getting Banned from Adsense
2007-10-25 02:57:33
I know that reading long program policies may be boring. Don’t worry, BloggerDollar is here to let you skip the boring part and dive in to earning cash. However there are some facts you need the know about your most reliable source Adsense . If you don’t want to get banned from Adsense and spend rest of your life looking for a subsitute, keep some important facts about Adsense in your mind: 1. Invalid Clicks Google has a strong policy to prevent invalid clicks to keep their advertisers pleased. Don’t forget that Google guys are propably smarter then you so don’t even bother creating artificial traffic/clicks. 2. Own Clicks Don’t ever click your own ads. Even if the ad actually interests you or you just wanna check out if the ads work. Google has the magical powers to sense you clicking your own ads so be careful. If you click your own ads by mistake inform Adsense about the situation. 1 or 2 clicks won’t get you rich so it isn’t worth the risk.

How to Sleep Less Time, Work More Time
2007-10-24 06:26:53
Are you concerned about sleeping too much or not having a regular sleeping schedule? If you aren’t earning enough money from your blog to quit your day job and you want to keep on blogging then you desperately need time. Since there is no boss in the world to let you decrease working hours, people usually decrease sleeping hours. Is it possible to sleep 5-6 hours a day without turning in to a walking zombie?? If you have sleep related problems; you sleep to much, you can’t get a regular sleeping schedule and you don’t have the hope that you can live with less sleep; believe me YOU CAN. I am a live subject of transition from disordered sleep to a regular sleeping schedule with 5-6 hours of sleep a day. While I was student (good old days), I usually slept 10 hours a day and some days with no sleep some days with all day sleep, I was like a statue of sleep disorder. My awake hours of day always shifted. For a week I was awake during day time another week I was awake duri

Designing your blog
2007-10-23 02:49:02
Default wordpress theme is eye candy and you may be loving it but you need to personalize your blog’s look. Even if the last design you made with your computer was painting a house and a tree with paintbrush at the age of six, don’t panic! Wordpress has a huge source of free themes in the internet. If you make a few Google searches you can find many free themes for your blog. (I will make a list of good free themes later) First let’s get an opinion about basic structure of wordpress themes. The classic wordpress theme consists of a header; 2 columns (main index page and sidebar) and a footer. Before searching for themes make clear what you want. Do you like a blog with 3 columns or 2 columns, do you want the sidebar on the right or left. If you don’t want to get lost inside themes design your blog layout on paper and choose from themes which fits your blog best. Personalize your theme: If you found the theme matching for your layout design but the images are ab

Let the Cash Flow
2007-10-18 07:17:34
Not so fast.. Here is the deal; you start advertising other websites or help them promote their products from your blog. The most reliable and the perfect start for advertising is Google Adsense (as you probably already know). After opening your account in Google Adsense, you create your personal Ad Code by entering Adsense setup menu and following the instructions. Adsense offers several types of ads to match your blog. You can check them here. I used Banner and vertical banner in my blog (As we change our blog design we can try different options). While choosing the banner color you can try to find suitable combinations to match your blogs theme. Most bloggers claim that their incomes remarkably raised when they optimized the ad colors to their blogs. When you generate the adcode, you have to implement the code to your blog. You can try out several plug-ins to implement the code automatically (I will review a few of them in the following days). For start you can try to implement code

Ladies an Gentlemen, Start Your Engines..

Okay here is the deal, the first thing we got to do is start up our blog. (A crucial suggestion) The mostly known, open sourced, free and easy to start blog is Wordpress. You can download the necessary files from the Wordpress and actually start blogging following their “Famous 5-minute install”. For installing our blog we need a host which supports a Mysql and PhP. You can choose from a variety of free hosts but bear in mind that they can include their own ads in your blog and they can cause problems as your traffic goes up. Also owning your own domain name at first is a good idea because you wouldn’t like to change your address while your traffic is going up. After some research I decided to use bluehost which can be considered cheap and reliable. They also register your domain name with hosting for free. The total cost is approximately 95$/year. So you can choose to spend some money for hosting and domain name from the start and prevent the problems later on or you

Beginners Guide to Driving Traffic to Your Blog
2007-10-30 16:08:48
It’s been 15 days of blogging; building content, improving design and mostly trying to get some traffic. Even if you find and write down the solution for “World Peace” you won’t get any visitors without some effort. There is lot of “what to do” lists to drive traffic and I applied most of them (trying to stay away from spamming) and will review the short term results. Social Bookmarking Services -StumbleUpon StumbleUpon is a toolbar which you can use to stumble through web pages people liked and it will drive traffic to your page if you have a good content. StumbleUpon is the source of the most traffic to my blog. It is superior than other social bookmarking services because it can’t be spoiled. Most of the social bookmarking services depend on you to promote your link and ask people for votes. StumbleUpon prevents such actions because it bans your account if you submit your own pages too much. If you have a good content people will favor it by

How to Save Your Blog From a Cheesy Look - Using Colour Palettes
2007-10-29 07:02:41
In one of my latest posts I tried to explain how to change a free wordpress theme in to your personalized wordpress design. Actually it is nothing more than changing the background colors of the images used in your theme but there is more than that. You try to play around with colors for your theme and your blog still looks cheesy. (You can check my blog’s previous designs from evolution page). That’s because you don’t have an artist’s eye (It is something however, there are many bloggers who can’t even understand their blog looks cheesy). You have to look for more if you want to give your blog a professional design. You have to know how the colors interact with each other and how they will look as parts of a whole piece. Don’t Panic! There is an easy way to do that also. If you don’t have an artist’s eye, you have to seek for an artist willing to share his/her perspective with you. Thanks to internet we can easily find many artists willi

7 Reasons to Hate Your Day Job
2007-11-05 06:12:11
Getting Up Every Morning There are some days when you wake up and don’t ever want to leave the bed, sit all day watch cartoons. Especially when there is a storm outside and you are feeling like you are chained to your warm bed. Too bad you aren’t at school anymore and you gotta hit the storm. Every frakking day. (Our thanks to Battlestar Galactica for this lovely word:) There is a new social organization in Denmark which describes themselves as “Morning Haters” and called B-Society which push companies to allow B-society to start work after10-11 a.m. I hope they help all the worlds B-society. Time The time passes by quickly. You turn the speed up by going to the same job everyday and living the same day over and over. You start to lose your sense of time and when you look back you see years left behind. A quote from Rumble Fish (to make you more depressed): “Time is a funny thing. Time is a very peculiar item. You see when you’re young, you&rs

A New Text Link Ads Approach - Google Approved
2007-11-01 08:30:20
You know all the buzz going about Google Pagerank penalty for text link ad users. There is still too much discussion going about why and how but marketing people stopped discussing and provided a solution which is approved by Google Judges.  ScratchBack is a new widget developed by text-link-ads to provide a solution for the Pagerank related problems. The problem with text link ads was Google started to see that as a fraud which provides people high pagerank links for money. ScratchBack solves this problem by creating this javascript widget which provides nofollow links. Which means that Google spiders won’t follow those links and it’s not a danger to pagerank system. ScratchBack says that they got approval from Google for this new system. Google created such a fear for text links that ScratchBack use the term “tip” instead of “ads”. The system works as follows: You place the widget on your blog and people can place their links for ad purposes or ju
