Our first big storm
2007-12-13 18:48:08
We a currently in the middle of our first snow storm of the year, with a Noreaster on the way on Sunday. I love looking out into the night at the fresh falling snow. It makes us all slow down and pause. I know come January it may not look as charming, but for now it fits the Season. I hope everyone is home, warm and safe with their families.  Happy Holidays!

I don't take credit for this, another agent in my office passed it on to me, but it is a great idea. While writing your Christmas cards include one to a recovering soldier. It makes a difference, this is a hard time of year for many. You can send your card to the Red Cross who will sort and forward them. they must be received by December 27th:We Support You During Your RecoveryC/O American Red CrossP.O. If you had to get 3 new good listings by the end of the month, how would you do it?
2008-04-14 14:20:55
This is a question I posed to my role play partner this morning.  I would love to hear your ideas but here are mine: First  of course  i would call my database and see if they knew of anyone looking to sell. Then I would go through the expireds next, seeing who was realistic and ready to sell. After that I would drop off fliers around homes that were recently listed or sold.Then.. start calling all the agents not in my area and ask if they knew of anyone moving to my area. So by now I think I would have at least picked up 3 new listings and most likely have said I didn't set the bar high enough.  What are your ideas? What works in your area?
