Groton Transfer Station Book Drop Off

You may not realize the Transfer Station has a book drop off. This is a great way to find new homes for the books you no longer want or need. The drop-off hours are during the regular Transfer Station hours of Wednesday through Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm The following items may also be dropped off:Videos CDs DVDs Audio Books Records/LPs Cell Phones   This is a great way to donate items you no longer need and not fill up our landfills.

An affordable home is available to an income eligible eligible first-time home buyers, the price is $155,100.Here are the income guidlines: One Person Household $46,300 Two Person Household $52,950 Three Person Household $59,550 Four Person Household $66,150 Asset Limit $50,000  Contact the Groton Housing Authority at 978 448-3962 for information and/or application. You can pick up an application at the Town Clerk's office or the Groton Public Library, the application deadline is October 31, 2007 by 4:30pm

NRWA Eco-Adventure Discovery Series

An after school nature discovery program for 8 to 11 year olds.The Nashua River Watershed Association is offering an after school program for 8 to 11 year olds.  The program will meet six Wednesdays in November and December at the NRWA River Resource Center, 592 Main Street (Rt. 119) in Groton, MA. Groton Country Club

Groton has a great Country Club that has a 9 Hole golf course, swimming, tennis and family recreation. In the summer the pool is a popular spot to entertain the kids. The function hall can be rented for special events.
