She is liar… She is my best friend 2007-10-13 04:56:00 Today I am writing about girls, girls who lie about their boyfriend
s. They illustrate big big tales about their BF’s. My BF did like this, he took me there, and he asked me this… that… this that… They lie all these to their roomies, close friends and sometimes even to not so close friends. We see these types of girls everywhere, in every friends circle. Not surprisingly, my group too has such one friend. Lets call her Ms.’X’. Ms.X is charming, very friendly, talkative and int too… In brief, she is chinakurali. I think may be these xtraplus factors made her a liar. Everyone knows she is not telling the truth but still some believe. They believe because of the above xtraplus factors and sometimes even coincidence plays the role. Ms.X tells her primary school, high school crush stories and her college love stories as if they really happened and as if all her BF’s really exist. That was college time, everyone makes fun and enjoy that’s okay. But even now also she lies. Wh Read more:best friend
Just wanna say thanks to her 2007-10-13 04:51:00 What the really friends are for? Are they to love you or to hate you? I would say both. Yeah, friends sometimes love you and sometimes they hate you. They scold you, they console you and they even cheat you… yeah its true but they cheat you to help you and for your grace. It is said that friends will come to help you when you are really in need. I don’t say everyone will help us but atleast some will help. This is true in my case also. I have such one friend. She stays far from me. One of my best friend. I respect her a lot and she ten times than me. We rarely meet, say once or twice in a year. Even we call each other very rarely. But she calls me whenever i always in need of someone desperately to console me. The strange thing is that she will not be knowing what all happening around me. Still I always get a call from her when i am sad, upset and totally exhausted. May be this is what we call as ’strong bond of relationship’ or something what we call as ‘telepathy’. Read more:wanna
The role of a friend in life 2007-10-09 21:28:00 Everyone in this world has friend
s. There is no one in this world who has never tasted the honey of friendship. If you gonna ask yourself the meaning of a friend, you may not get an answer. A friend is something that you can not define in words or it is not that can be found on dictionary. A friend is beyond words. It is something you feel, you know, you understand but you can not define.Have you ever thought of what is the role of a friend in our life? How can a friend change our life? The role of a friend in our life is as that of air we breathe, it is as that of water, as that of food and as that of our basic needs. As the time goes on and on, as the frequency of meets and talks decreases, due some unavoidable reasons, you may start to feel like your best friend, who was almost everything to you, is now not really important as he/she was earlier. But no matter what, you need a friend through out your life. It is even good if he/she is same old best friend. We face many situations in o

Google and its vulnerabillites 2007-10-09 01:29:00 Google has responded to CERT-In advisory regarding vulnerabilities in Google applications by saying its systems are working fine and all vulnerabilities that CERT-In reported have been fixed before 27th Sept, the day CERT-In issued advisory.I had heard of CERT-In before but I really didn’t know it is working so active. After glancing on its website, I realized how wrong I was. Please go and have a look if you haven’t seen that till now.Back to vulnerabilities in Google applications, this raises one serious question how safe we are and our sensitive data in this virtual world that too when we are too much dependent on Google and its applications.Suppose, if someone hacks your Google account, imagine what could happen. Laziness 2007-09-19 00:27:00 Laziness is the word that describes me most and sleeping the 2nd in hit list. About sleeping, I will write about that some other day, some other time.Wiki defines laziness as the lack of desire to perform work or expend effort.I think thats not really so right definition. One day, some one may come with better definition for laziness, the definition that it really deserves.Whatever, as far my opinion, laziness is really good thing and it saves your lot of time, energy,...etc etcIf you think laziness is bad thing, check this and this. Here is one more sibling of laziness, procrastination. More here on effective procrastination. For tech-hungry people, here is some food to whet your appetite. And for bookies, bookworms.... you may find these useful and also this.Special note: To all those who have worked too much without knowing where they are heading or where they have landed (like d*nkey.. Love And Limerence 2007-09-15 01:03:00 Does thinking about your love take you to your own fantasy world? Do you imagine of intensely desired ecstatic moments like ‘fighting with rowdies to rescue your love’, ‘sacrificing your life to save the life of your love’..etc etc ? Do you become shy, anxious, and nervous in presence of a person whom you love? Do you vividly remember the situations and places wherever you meet your love? Do you try to appreciate his/her each acts, expressions, decisions irrespective of whether they are right or wrong? Do you think, you have become too crazy about her/him?If your answer to most of above questions is “YES”, then you are not in LOVE."Yes, you are not in love, you are in LIMERENCE".Limerence is an emotional state of a person in which he/she feels of being in love. “Feeling of being in love” is the phrase that exactly defines the term limerence.Dr.Tennov coined this term in 1979. She describes limerence as a distinct state that creates that "feeling of being in love" -- tha
Things to do when you have nothing to do 2007-09-15 01:02:00 I was in home, lying on the bed and nothing to do in hand. Yesterday was holiday to my office and to my work on account of May Day or Labour Day. It’s really a frustrating thing that doing nothing and just looking at clock to see its very slow steady movement. So what really people do when they have nothing to do? How to beat that boring phase? As I went on thinking on this, I found few very helpful solutions; some of them which I executed yesterday itself. First thing you can do in such phase is to either go and meet your old friends whom you haven’t met since long time or just phone them and talk to them if its not possible for you to go and meet. Ringing them is easier option as it’s not always possible to meet each and everyone in one day that too in the city like Bangalore. Open your phone book and start dialing. Whom to call first, it depends on you. I usually apply LRC algorithm (Least Recently Called). Second thing you can do is cooking. Just give

What made Ubuntu so popular? 2007-10-18 03:04:00 Here are some behind reasons1) Ubuntu
– humanity towards others: This killer phrase makes anyone mad. This phrase attracts people like anything. I too got impressed to Ubuntu by seeing this phrase only! This phrase makes you feel something better in this world of monopolies. One more reason is Ubuntu’s Philosophy’.2) Users and Community: Ubuntu got its promotion by its users and its community. They have given a hyper-hype and a world-wide free advertising. Whoever uses Ubuntu, recommends others to try it. I am still unable to find the reason for this.3) Equal treat for everyone: Ubuntu provides same set of services and support for both home users and enterprise users. This makes home users or normal users to give a preference to ubuntu compared to other distros (feel better factor).4) Ship It Service: One of the main innovative approach of Ubuntu to reach end users. Ubuntu delivers you free Official CDs at your doorstep. This is another reason for users to give a try to Ubuntu Read more:popular

My Mysore Trip 2007-10-23 11:40:00 I started my journey to Mysore on Saturday morning. Its been a year since I visited Mysore. I was in Infy Mysore for 1.5 months last year during training. After that I haven't been there. Now its all exciting to visit campus after one year. Our weekend trip plan was to spend whole Saturday in Infy campus and next day to celebrate world famous Mysore Dasara.I started at 7.30 AM although my initial plan was to leave to Mysore on friday evening itself but due to my hectic work schedule I couldn't make it out.It took 2.5 hours for volvo bus to reach Mysore from Bangalore. As I entered city, I saw many changes since my last visit. Mysore city was properly cleaned on occasion of dasara. Almost all buildings were painted freshly and all roads and buildings were decorated and illuminated.Soon after reaching my friend's room and getting freshen up, we left to Infy campus without any delay.Pavan, Kumar, Me and Ramangouda in front of Multiplex...Visting Infy campus made me more nostalgic. Hugeurls And Longest Email Id 2007-11-03 12:13:00 Bored with same urls? Do you feel even tinyurls have become old fashioned? So here is something new to try.Its a time to change your urls and tinyurls to hugeurls. My Friends' Brithday And My New Experiment 2007-11-03 12:09:00 Yesterday, two of my close friends, deepa and suma, had their birthday. I don't know what made me to think like that, I decided not to wish them by calling but by only sending sms. As far as advice or scolding is concerned I will always be at giving side rather than receiving. I will always try to find faults in my friends so that I can scold them or to give free advice. But this new experiment of wishing on birthday really put me in trouble.I didn't wish both at 12.00 AM ( as I usually used to do ). In the morning I didn't call them and I sent only sms that too very late just to test how much they are expecting a wish from me and how much scoldings I can get if I didn't wish.I sent a msg at around 8.30 AM. Suma replied as 'Thanks a lot'. I was seeing strong angriness in that reply msg. And deepi, she didn't replied at all. Both were expecting a call from me. Oops!Inspite of this, I didn't alter my decision of not to call them. This continued till evening. To break the ice, at Read more:Friends

Safari For Windows 2007-06-13 02:30:00 Apple has released Safari
for Windows
. After getting setup file from Veetrag, I tried it yesterday on my work pc. Apple says it is world's best browser even on windows. It says safari loads pages 2 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and 1.6 times faster than Firefox ( firefox is still my fav browser inspite of so many unresolved bugs in it ). But Safari 3 public beta did not turn up to my expectations. The most serious potential con of it is: no proxy support. I am unable to change my proxy settings as that option is disabled. I am only able to open local intranet and no internet at all. Some say it captures proxy settings from IE but still its not working even after setting proxy correctly in IE. Only two features I found interesting in safari are snapback and private browsing. Snapback lets you to go back where u started. Like if u searched for particular in google and you go on clicking search result nestedly jumping from parent website to further another website; using snapb

When There Is No Love.. 2007-05-12 02:09:00 It has been seven months since I joined Infosys. During these duration, I changed a lot. Not only me, my position, my surroundings and unfortunately even my friends. It's strange but true. Not so long ago, just ten months back, it was entirely different situation. I was a student and I along with my friends used to have a lot of fun. We used to go parties, bunk classes, sharing of food, teasing talks, long phone calls. It was heaven on earth. Finally the day came, the day which made us apart, the day which brought tears in our eyes. There was no other choice. We completed our four years journey and we must start our new journey but in different paths with different destinations. Two months after completion of my graduation, I got offer from Infosys. I was happiest and my friends too. My new journey started on oct 23rd. A new IT professional life brought many new things in me; corporate culture, soft skills, communication skills, money, fame, recognition... the list does not ends. Alon
Do You Sleep In Bus? 2007-11-17 11:35:00 There is an one good famous saying- "Software Engineers sleep in cab as if they haven't slept for years!"What a statement! Yes, its true. I have observed it and it is absolutely true in my case as well. I fall asleep soon after 10 or 15 minutes when I start my cab journey of 1.5 hours. My N73 plays music uninterruptedly through out my travel. Listening to music in cab is my another habit which I can't avoid just like my sleep. Head phones on your ears with full volume, listening to your own favorite collection. Wow, its a wonderful pleasure. But for me, this can't continue longer. My big weakness, I fall asleep after sometime.I have faced so many problems because of this. Many times I have missed my alighting stop because of this sleep. By the time I wakeup, I notice that I have already crossed my stop. Two or three times, I was woken up by the driver after reaching bus' final stop. I don't know when I can get out of this uncontrollable long sleep which is actually making me ve Read more:Sleep
No Surprises! No Surprises!! 2007-11-17 10:43:00 Vodafone has failed in branding its image in India. It has failed in attracting new customers. Vodafone ads are pathetic except for the first one which goes like 'change is good'. These new vodafone ads have failed in having the elegance and simplicity of Hutch ads. People still can't forget those simple yet creative Hutch ads. They could have retained the Hutch dog in further ads. Vodafone's new 'surprises surprises' ad is not attracting the customers as the Hutch ads used to do. I am not sure if the customers are really getting surprises in using vodafone. Taking mine as an example, I haven't get any bonus or free talktime or sms till now although I pay my bill regularly within specified date. When vodafone had acquired Hutch, everyone expected that it will release new good offers to promote its brand and its entry to the Indian market. Many had even planned to switch to vodafone from other service providers if it offers good tariff plans. But expectations didn't turn up.
