Wesley's Solo
2007-12-07 08:18:00
Wesley's school had their "Winter Concert" last night. I thought of a fellow NH blogger while watching their performance of "Reindeer Rap". Wesley surprised us with a solo:) Since I have NO IDEA how to get video off of my video camera, I used my digital camera to record it off the TV!! You may not be able to hear it very well, but damn...he's cute!! ****************************************************************************************************************** Thanks so much for reading my feed! Recalls: IMPORTANT!!
2007-12-08 06:49:00
On Fac.ebook I have an application that notifies me of all the most recent recalls. I love it and have already discovered we have an Ol.d Na.vy coat that was recalled, a storage container, and now this!I sold that booster seat to someone on Craig.slist and thank goodness I know where she is so that I can let her know. I also wanted to make you aware since I am sure many of my readers have one of these boosters(there is more than one style). Please click on the link above for the details. It has something to do with the belts that hold your baby in the seat. I also suggest that if you have Fac.ebook that you add this application. It is one of the most useful ones on there! If you are my friend just go to my profile to add it to yours!****************************************************************************************************************** Thanks so much for reading my feed! Lani's new apron
2007-12-06 08:11:00
Lani received a very special package in the mail from Autumn, Michael's cousins wife. She is a sweet and very talented sewer. I saw that she was going to open and etsy shop with the adorable apron that Lani has now.Go ahead and check it out. I'll wait.... Aren't they adorable! What a perfect Christmas gift with some art supplies or some cookie cutters:) Here is a link to her son wearing a boy one!She offered to send me one as a gift. I LOVE it. The fabric is beautiful and it is well crafted. As a beginner sewer, I am in awe of her straight stiches:) I would URGE all of you to head over to her shop and order one for your kiddos. She has one up there now, but I know that she is willing to make custom orders. There is also a few hand made "infant wrap tops" and a wallet. Autumn and Ben did just have a baby girl last week so I am sure she is pretty busy with her new addition.Lani loves the button that Autumn uses. Here is the whole apron. The fabric is very durable and will stand up to

Christmas Photos

We went a few weeks ago to get some family Christmas photos done at Target. They finally came in and I took a picture of them since my scanner was not working. I did last years also so you can compare. You should be able to click on them for a closer look if you are interested.Last years photo with Jenna, Leah, and Joshie. Excuse the angle, but the flash was making a mark on the photo. Here is this years photo. Lani just finished screaming and was holding onto a Do.ra gummie:)2006 Wesley and LaniWesley and Lani 2007 photo. Time to be careful
2007-12-21 08:08:00
I will admit that I have a potty mouth. It becomes a lot worse when I am driving in stress full situations. Today I forgot to send Wesley's cantaloupe to school with him for his "winter celebration"! ( yeah...no more Christmas parties with a lot of junk food) Any who, I was driving home and there is a huge hill that I have to go up to get to my house. If I don't get up enough speed I could get stuck. Some old foagie was going like 10 MPH up the hill and I was spinning and panicking that I was going to slide backwards. So, I said something like "Get up the $&#*#&$&&#* hill you old &($&(*#&^@&%*$ " Well, here is what Lani had to say about that!"No no no Mama cwist (Christ) Mama"!!****************************************************************************************************************** Thanks so much for reading my feed! Our tree, a new book, and some snow day fun!
2007-12-20 11:50:00
Here is a nice long picture post to make up for all the paid posts that are below! Wesley is home today because it's SNOWING again. At this rate the kids will be in school until July. GEESH! Maybe that will be a good thing though?!? Hmmm.....Anyway! Here are some photos of our crazy morning! Also a few snow photos from my front door.My maple tree that is right out front. I love this tree because it lets all the warm sun into the the living room all winter and then it shades us in the Summer. My tiny silver maple that is buried. You can see the Summer version here.My neighbors house! The one that I mentioned here! (He just got back from work and is doing it again! Man oh man!!)Lani used Michael's Christmas gift from his work as a stroller for her baby. Michael is irritated with this gift because he is a TRUCK DRIVER! What is he going to do with a lap top bag?!? A nice fat bonus would have been nice. Especially since he works for a HUGE company that makes a lot of money! I know...stop c

My snowmen!
2007-12-18 21:12:00
I love my snowmen :) I tend to buy these or ask for them as gifts because I can keep them out all winter. Here are a few of my favorites. I think that you can click on them to make them larger. Most of these were given to me as gifts by my preschoolers when I was teaching! I definitely miss getting 16 new decorations each Christmas:) Some were not keepers, but mostly my parents rocked the gift giving!! Here are the ornaments that Wesley and Lani picked out this year. We have a tradition of letting the kiddos pick out a new ornament each year. Wesley helped Lani out of course, but he thought that she would like to shake the snow inside the ornament. He was right:) It rarely is actually on the tree! Wesley picked his out because one of his favorite things we did this Summer was going to the Balloon Rally. ****************************************************************************************************************** Thanks so much for reading my feed! Shopping Cart Software
2007-12-18 20:12:00
If you have ever thought of opening your own online business or already have one and are looking for shopping cart software then you must check out this site. I have been thinking a lot about opening my own shop where I can begin to create and sell scrapbook layouts, embellishments and pages for others. Having a "shopping cart" or and easier way for my customers to check out would be an added bonus. It would give me more time to create rather then trying to sort out orders.Ashop offers many pricing packages so that you can find the one that fits your needs perfectly. You can even test drive their service to be sure that you are happy with it. Right now they are offering a 10 day FREE trial with NO credit card required. If you have an online shop then you really have nothing to lose by checking this service out.****************************************************************************************************************** Thanks so much for reading my feed! Sorry about all the paid posts, but it's been a while and I need to take them when I can:) I just made $40 dollars with those few posts and they were written in 20 minutes while Lani was napping!! Ornament Swap
2007-12-18 14:39:00
I joined Kailani for her ornament swap, but my swap partner stood me up:( Kailani was kind enough to send me a beautiful ornament straight from Hawaii. Wesley loves the hawaiian Santa Clause. She even had our name written on the outside. Thanks so much, Kailani. Here is our Christmas tree:) I could NOT get a good photo of it because my camera has a very HARSH flash. I could not get a nice one of the tree, so I am using this cool one that Wesley took. The kid can't even stand still long enough to take a photo of the tree. HEE!!On another note; we received Wesley's Christmas gift in the mail. We ordered him a used guit.ar he.ro off of eb.ay so we wanted to make sure that it worked. While he was at karate we took it out and gave it a test run. One hour later, we decided that it works just fine! May have to give it one more try out tonight just in case! LOL!!!****************************************************************************************************************** Thanks so much

Pay Day Loans
2007-12-18 13:53:00
I know that times can get hard financially. Unexpected expenses, such as car repairs, medical appointments, and past due bills. They index and help you to find some of the most popular and safe online gambling and casino sites. Their is a link to the site and a review that will help you decide which one is better for you. Snowed In
2007-12-16 19:42:00
Today we had a Nor'easter blow through New Hampshire. I am very happy to know that we did not get as much that was forcasted earlier in the week. I think we got about 10 inches of the white, fluffy stuff:) Michael and I had big plans to get things done around the house, but he has been fighting off the sickies on the couch all day. Thank goodness that our neighbor came over with his snowblower because I DID NOT want to shovel all that snow. I will get some photos tomorrow for those of you who like to see our winter wonderland. It's looking like we are definitely having a white Christmas. On Saturday, Michael had to work so I ventured out with the kid's to a holiday make n' take at Wesley's school. He made several art projects for Christmas. Lani was even able to make a few goodies for our tree. She loved the donut holes from Dun.kin Donu.ts, but was not thrilled with Santa!Later, our friends Melissa and Joel came over with their daughter Sarah. We ate dinner, dessert, and hung out.

Smorty
2007-12-15 13:00:00
I have found another website that offers money when you post about opportunities they provide you. Smorty connects many advertisers with bloggers who then write about their services and products on their blogs. What a fabulous way for them to get the word out and for us bloggers to make some money while doing something we love.I like how easy the Smorty website is to navigate and understand. The policies are simple and easy to follow and many of the posts pay very well. You sign up and wait for your blog to be accepted. This only took 2 days for me and I have heard from other bloggers that they had their blog accepted in a few hours. Once you read through, and understand the policies you can start on your way to being paid for blogging. You choose an opportunity, wait for it to be reviewed and then you are paid via paypal. So, be sure to check Smorty out if you want more information on how to get paid for blogging.***********************************************************************

Christmas meme
2007-12-14 21:47:00
I should be sleeping right now, but I stopped by Donna's blog and saw this fun meme and she said that I was most likely to respond. Seems that she was right:)1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper!2. Real tree or artificial? I prefer real, but we are going to be getting a fake on when they go on sale. Mostly because of the money we will save, and because our allergies have been awful this one.3. When do you put up the tree? Mid December4. When do you take the tree down? It depends how many needles are falling off. Last year it was the day after Christmas , but who knows for this year.5. Do you like egg nog? YUCK! I wish I did because it looks so yummy, but it tastes sooo nasty to me!6. Favorite gift received as a child? ummm....I loved Strawberry shortcake.7. Do you have a nativity scene? No8. Hardest person to buy for? Michael's Mom9. Easiest person to buy for? This year has definitely been Lani!10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail11. Worst Christmas gift you ever re

Laziness!
2007-12-13 20:07:00
We have new neighbors across the street. They are nice enough, but a little strange. We had a quick snow storm tonight that dropped about 6 inches, give or take a few. It's 9:00 pm and instead of shoveling their driveway, which is slightly up hill, they are driving to the end of our road and gunning it up. Well, it's not working and they are not making it:) LOL!! This is a lot of fun to watch!! I tried to get a video, but it's too dark outside. All you can see is there break lights. We all have short driveways and Michael is out shoveling ours right now for my parents who drop off between 7 and 7:30 am. Our other neighbor always offers his snowblower, but Michael says he wants to shovel. He likes to be active!*Be sure to scroll down and check out the video that I posted of Lani******************************************************************************************************************* Thanks so much for reading my feed! Twas the Night Before Christmas.
2007-12-24 21:15:00
The kid's are finally in bed and soon "Santa" will be visiting with all of his presents. Lani is still feeling pretty crappy but is on the yummy pink medicine. She has an ear infection brewing along with swollen tonsils and a suspected UTI. Poor baby girl:( Hopefully the meds will kick in soon and she will be back to her old peppy self.My brother, Justin and his girlfriend Liz came over tonight. My Aunt Carol also came over and bought us pizza for dinner. Wesley waited very impatiently for us to finish so he could open presents. He was being rather obnoxious. My sick daughter and hyper son are going to scare both of my brothers away from having kids. LOL!!! Both were spoiled and LOVED all of the gifts.Wesley is putting his "reindeer food" outside. Not the best photo, but it was COLD so I sent Michael outside with him:)Wesley set out Santa's cookies. Don't my sugar cookies look amazing? Here is Lani having an attitude about something. I am sure that Wesley was getting in her face.Lan
