Her Mom called in a professional tutor that was supposed to evaluate her daughter to see what was causing this. The countdown is on! 2007-10-30 13:34:00 C has 5 days to pay me the $700 dollars she owes. I have heard nothing from her so I doubt that she is going to make the payment. It's too bad because now we will HAVE to go to court! BLAH! I really wanted to skip out on that part, but I will go to get my money! Would be nice to have it in time for Christmas. I am sure the courts wont move that quickly though.On the same topic, I have a Mom coming tomorrow with her 6 week old baby to visit. I hope this one works out since the last family chose a child care center instead of my home based center. "O" would be here 3 days a week for about 6 hours! AHHH...perfect! I love part timers:) I can tell these hours will be consistent because they revolve around dropping off and picking up the older daughter from school!! Baby "O" 2007-11-06 11:18:00 I started watching Baby "O" today and it's been pretty tough! He is a fussy baby who wants to be held ALL.THE.TIME!!! Slings...hates it, Baby Bjorn....hates it! "O" is nursed which I am sure has a lot to do with this. Mom nurses him at every fuss so he will learn to self soothe while he is here since it is impossible for me to hold him for 7 hours straight. He sleeps in 10-15 minute intervals which doesn't help the fussiness. Gah...this makes me feel like Michael and I made the right decision for no more babies:) Must keep reminding myself that he is only 6 weeks old and that we REALLY need the money!He is really cute though!Here is Lani dealing with her jealousy issues:) She has done well with "O" but wants all his things. Happy Birthday to Josh!! 2007-11-03 12:28:00 Josh (my brother in law) had a semi surprise birthday party last night! He turned 31 on Tuesday, but was at school for the week so Lisa decided to celebrate last night. The Knucklecocks played for everyone in their living room! It was a lot of fun:) I took a few photos but no video...the lighting was too dark for my digital camera recorder. Ray and MichaelLeah, my niece, took this from the loft! Josh, the birthday boy!Michael told me that he learned how to play the harmonica for their song "Truckin' in Texas", but I had no idea he was THAT GOOD!! I wish I had video for it!!Ray...I just liked his face on this one:)Lastly, my beautiful Lani playing some electric guitar with the band! I did not see Wesley all night. Another cold and changes 2007-11-12 08:41:00 We survived Lani's first cold with no medication. I hope we can survive this one too:)Onto another topic. Since Lani weaned herself about a month ago there has been some good and bad changes
to my body. The good is that my frizzy hair is back to normal. It looks great compared to the rats nest it was for the past 16 months. Now the bad is that I gained 10 pounds in like two weeks. Thanks goodness I lost 8 pounds of it already!! Also I have been breaking out in giant pimples on my face! GAH!! As you know I am the wife of a rockstar and these blemishes are just unacceptable! LOL!! Hopefully when I get back on my PCOS medication these will be gone also!

Michael practices karate and works out in there and our friend brought a remnant from his store for Michael to use. For Fun and furnace update! 2007-11-11 19:26:00 We are warm here thanks to Ray! We are truly blessed to have such awesome family and friends!! We woke up Saturday morning to our furnace running but no heat coming out of the base boards. Michael went into the basement to see water around the furnace and no pilot light. I just wanted to cry! We are finally beginning to get ahead and the freakin' furnace does this! GAH!!Michael works in the home heating industry so we call one of the technicians and he tells us what's wrong. We then call Ray and he offers to come and take a look at it Sunday. We then called Lisa (my SIL) to see if we could spend the night since it has been pretty dang COLD here! Of course, she said it was fine and we packed up what seemed like the whole house for another overnight adventure. It turned out to be a good time with the older kids playing video games, the grown ups staying warm in front of the fire, and Lani reading books and playing with "Ella" (Leah). some pictures and a short (&late) 16 month update! 2007-11-07 20:18:00 I was looking through my files and decided to post some photos that never made it into my blog.I know that I never did a 16 month post for Lani but there really was nothing new to add! She is talking and signing A LOT!! Lani is silly and goofy all the time! She is still in love with Barney, but has added "Emmo" and "Doda" (dora) to the list. She has never even seen "Dora" but she is everywhere on every product in the store! Lani and I color, dance, sing, read, laugh, sort, and be silly during our days together. Her eating...getting better! Still picky, but we are working hard at getting her to try new, healthy, foods! Sleeping....perfect!! She sleeps for 12-13 hours each night as long as she goes to bed on time and takes a good nap each afternoon. She weighed 19lbs. at her visit and was 29" long. Still 5% for weight, but the doctor is not worried. Lani is just our little peanut.Lani loves her zebra now. She can climb off, on, and bounces like crazy:) The kids were supposed to be gettin

A naughty Mommy and a yummy treat for Lani. 2007-11-16 08:23:00 On Wednesday Lani was not feeling well and was just chilling out on the couch with me. It was 9am and Ellen was coming on. She then started asking for "I ba u, u ba ee" (Barney) and I was all like "Uh, honey, let's watch Ellen Dance." Lani wanted no part of it and started freaking out. She climbed down from the couch and climbed into the bouncer crying for Barney. I almost gave in then I remembered the portable DVD player. So, we were both happy:) I was able to watch Ellen and she was able to get her Barney fix.A friend of mine let me know about these "tings"! They are dairy free and yummy! I am not sure if they are officially vegan since there is a warning that says these "tings" were manufactured in a facility with dairy product. They are a perfect little snack for Lani and the rest of the family. We ALL like them, which is a bad thing because they are kind of expensive.
