Ilchi Lee Exercises and Energy Accumulation . Purpose | Collects energy in the Dahn-jon. Lift your legs off the floor, creating 90-degree angles between your hip joints, knees and ankles. The knees and ankles should both be about one fist-width apart. This helps to keep the hip joints in the correct position. To curl the tailbone in this posture, start by bringing your knees closer to your chest, creating mild tension around the lower abdomen. Feel the tailbone lifting and the back touching the floor before readjusting the hips to a 90-degree angle. Flex your feet by pushing your heels out. Do not curl the toes since this creates blockages in the ankles. Close your mouth and start exhaling through your nose if it feels more natural.
