I’ve been wanting to mention this guy for a while because his stuff is mental yet so addictive. Of course his greatest hit is Chocolate Rain. That song will forever be in my head…It has now permeated my soul I think. Mud posted on him also..so I had to finally do it.

Wow what a crazy week…thanksgiving came and flew by. We had an awesome thanksgiving.
There are 5 churches in the area that the pastors have been meeting together for prayer every few weeks. One of the pastors is ours (my dad). The others are a non denom, Baptist, Evangelical Free, Charismatic Eucharistic Church (thats us), and A presbyterian. So one day they decided to have a Day before thanksgiving service at the Presbyterian Church and invite all 5 churches. Have any of you ever tried that? It almost never works. Nobody shows up and it’s awkward because the Charismatic guys are afraid of scaring the baptists etc etc. So we went with lousy expectations. I was asked to co lead worship and we didn’t know what to do. We decided on Open the eyes, Forever, and blessed be your name. The service opened with the churches trumpet player and huge pipe organ. Mute Math’s new guitar player 2007-12-06 21:46:15 For the longest time my six year old Tristan wanted to be Stevie Ray Vaughn..Then he wanted to be Steve Vai….Then Eric Clapton or John Pettrucci. Today he put on his Christmas outfit and told me who he wants to be now. He tried his best mock pose of the Typical video by Mute Math
. Seems he wants to be their guitarist.

The "Worship Under the Stars" event was a vision that I had to do a big, produced worship night … with a 1st class band, full lighting … everything you'd see at a big-ticket concert … but for the glory of God. It was a FREE event, underwritten by some wonderful individual, church, and corporate sponsors. The event cost over $20,000 to put on, and another $10-15,000 was invested in the post-production of the live audio CD and DVD.
Some of your favorite pals from blog world are on the album, including myself (duh), Mandy Thompson, and Shannon Lewis. I was really blessed to have an awesome
