Global lottery stories 2006-12-09 20:46:49 Â $5 lottery purchase yields $16.5 million for Ohio man
An Ohio man drove for three days with the winning $40 million dollar Mega Millions ticket tucked in the armrest of his car before realizing Monday it was worth more than $16 million after taxes.
Sean Harper of Columbus said he forgot about the ticket until he went to purchase tickets for Ohio’s Pick Four drawing on Monday.
“It had been in my armrest the whole time. I didn’t believe it until the clerk showed it to me on the screen,” Harper said, adding that he didn’t even know the winning ticket was purchased in Ohio until he asked the clerk to check the ticket.
After discovering he had picked all six numbers correctly, Harper, 35, drove with his father to the Ohio Lottery office in Columbus to turn in the winning ticket.

2006-12-10 16:28:44 Euro jackpot lost in player error Tickets for the draw can be bought in nine European countries Members of a Belgian lottery syndicate who thought they had won 27m euros were dealt a huge blow when they found their winning numbers had not been entered.
For weeks the group of 30 players had been using the same combination for the EuroMillions jackpot. They were overjoyed when it matched the winning numbers in Friday’s draw.
But the group of friends were crushed when it turned out the person charged with buying the ticket had allowed the machine to choose random numbers. The syndicate includes the owners and patrons of the cafe La Fraternelle in the town Mouscron, south-west of Brussels. “One of us came into the cafe after the draw on Friday and said we had won 27m euros,” owner Christiane Farvacque told the BBC news website. No forgiveness “We were all celebrating.
Everyone was calling family and friends,” says Mrs Farvacque. You think you are the only winn
My weekend update 2006-12-10 22:51:44 Welcome to all my blog readers, its great to see the traffic increasing each day, and even seeing some people come back and visit my little lottery blog regular now.
Starting to see more traffic coming in from the search engines google, msn, yahoo and more, some of the search engines, I have never even heard of, so I must be doing something correct with my Elottery blog.
Well what can I say Friday night the offical start of the weekend and as usual you can find me at work, dreaming of that euro millions lottery win, the euro millions lotto rolled over last week, so it was bound to happen this week, that I would surely win it this time.
Alas that wasnt to be, but as I play for free, it means i didnt lose anything, in fact I had a small win, however nobody else won the euro millions roll over jackpot on friday, so this friday 15th november its another euro millions rollover with an estimated jackpot of £26million, wow that would be a cracking christmas present £26 million.
If you d
E-lottery pays me dental 2006-12-11 23:43:42 Well today was the dreaded visit to the dentist, not dreaded because i am scared of dentist, dreaded because here in the UK there is an amazing lack of NHS (national health service) dentist. This means poor skint students like me have to go private or risk our teeth rotting away.
So in I went for my check up, suprise suprise they found some work, and the bill mounts, had I not been in e-lottery then I couldnt of afforded to get the work done. Whilst my income from e-lottery is still smallish, as I have been building under people, and not placing all wide. Its still enough to cover my dental
bill.
You see its not always about the five/six figure incomes, and the flash cars, sometime its little things like being able to pay the dentist, mortgage, car payment etc, that can make such a difference to someone’s quality of life.
When I look back over the last year in e-lottery, I have built a good stable base to work from, and already people in the e-lottery team are mentioning positive
Dissertation okay 2006-12-12 13:12:51 Great news today my university of portsmouth dissertation is all fine and well, the only negative feedback I received from my tutor was a few spelling/grammer errors, heck I can live with that.
Just been checking my blog stats to see where traffic is coming from, and its funny how even small things get hits onto your site, here is a selection today. From google think it was from google in france “Christiane Farvacque” another interesting one “mouscron euromillions” no idea what it means, but it linked to the same page as the christiane farvacque one. Blog advance was also kind enough to send some traffic over, a few hits came from lottery top sites, image on the right somewhere.
Well thats a small update but hey. Also forgot to say last night myself, one of my team and my direct upline are all in e-lottery’s top 100 recruiters still good eh.
Oh well must dash dinner and dissertation beckons. See you all later happy reading.

Unlucky lottery chap 2006-12-12 18:05:46 Unlucky Wolverhampton salesman Chris Tibbetts is regretting the day he opted out of his work's lottery syndicate - in the very week his colleagues scooped a share of the £10.4 million jackpot.
Chris had been a member of the 18-strong syndicate for the EuroMillions lottery at Willenhall-based Arcelor Auto Processing for the past four weeks but told organisers he had better things to do with his £1.50 stake.
He told them he did not want to take part in Friday's draw and jokingly said it would change the syndicate's luck.
His words proved prophetic when his colleagues scooped a massive £5.2 million, a whopping £288,000 each.

Poor chap, I bet he’s gutted! An extra week in his works syndicate would have cost him just £1.50 and netted him a share of the £10.4 million jackpot!
VWD News from leadership meeting 2006-12-13 13:45:22 VWD News from leadership meeting
Head office was a buz of activity on Saturday 9th December as the VWD Network Leadership met for its usual quarterly briefing.
The meeting was opened by co-founder Tom Brodie, who set the scene for the day. In opening the meeting he described the expected growth of the company, network and support infrastructure, as well as the challenges that would come with such expected expansion. With that in mind he then announced that Eric Avery had joined the corporate team as Development Support Manager. Along with the rest of the management team Eric is tasked to support and manage the growth of the network channel and the expanding infrastructure.
Mark Davies, Head of Marketing, then presented a synopsis of the company past and present. He supported his findings with many extraordinary statistics.
His clarity in the analysis of our business and market highlighted the need for some innovative thinking. He delivered far more than was expected in his vision and
Top 100 elottery recruiters 2006-12-13 13:39:59 A new section mainly for my benefit as a diary, a while ago in our e-lottery back office, the company did a list of the top 100 recruiters in the company. Strangley this is a motivator for me, a challenge to see how high i can get.
Recently I have mentioned it in my posts, but now decided to add a seperate section, as a record for me, so i can easily look back and see where i was and when. At the moment, myself, one of my team members and my direct sponsor are all on the top recruiters board, along with some good elottery friends of mine.
At the moment I am the 53rd top recruiter in the company.

 STEP 1 BECOME AN AFFILIATE!
Ok that's the hard part over with.
THE BIGGEST MISTAKE A NEW AFFILIATE CAN MAKE.
This is a simple business AND AN EASY ONE! There is no selling involved - if you are trying to sell the business you are doing it wrong.
Don't try to explain to people about the 3,600% or the 702% increased chances of winning; people will not understand it, they will not believe you and it will raise more questions than it answers. Statistics are very difficult to explain as everyone has an opinion and you will find you have to explain and then you end up selling!
Keep it simple! Everyone knows what a lottery syndicate is, so leave it at that.
Lots of people play in lottery syndicates, in fact 1 in 4 lottery jackpots is won by syndicates. All you need to do is ask friends and relatives a simple question:
"Do you want to join OUR syndicate"?
Sounds too easy? Well that simple question is exactly how Maureen Bell became a member.
"One day I received a
Sad news for kleeneze europe 2006-12-14 15:34:39 Announcement to Kleeneze UK & Eire Distributor Network
13th December 2006
In the short time that we have had following the acquisition of Kleeneze by Findel we have become more and more excited by the opportunities for Kleeneze and its Network.
We have spent some time considering how best to operate and grow the business. We are massively behind developing the UK market and harnessing the power behind the Network.
We clearly understand that the Network has not been adequately supported. The Network has every right to expect that orders placed will be delivered in full and on time. That has simply not been happening and we intend to put it right. We cannot do this overnight, it will take 6 months of hard work but we will put it right.
Additionally we do not believe the Kleeneze brand has received the support it should have. Given this background we have decided to immediately commit £1 million of additional funding in the next financial year to the promotion of the business and to

UK LOTTERY MILLIONAIRE SECRETS 2006-12-16 22:03:08 As the 2,000th UK Lottery millionaire pops the champagne, 16 former jackpot winners shared how their money has been spent — and how their lives have changed.
I’VE BOUGHT AN ACRE OF THE MOON, VENUS AND MARS
David Copeland, 31, is single and lives in Hereford in a modest two-bedroom Sixties house.
Occupation: Former lab technician.
Won: £1,000,000 on January 4, 2000.
First purchase: On the day I won, I went to the supermarket and bought half a dozen bottles of champagne to share with my friends.
Best buy: A new Seat Leon car, which I love, for around £14,000. I’ve also had six cruises, which were worth every single penny. When I was a young boy, I used to dream about going on a cruise, and I booked my first one in the summer of 2000, sailing from Majorca to the Canary Islands. It was everything I hoped for and I was hooked. Now I try to go on at least one cruise a year.
Most extravagant: I saw an advertisement in a magazine offering me the chance to buy an acre of the M
Couple won U.K. Lotto, then gave most of it away 2006-12-16 21:57:50 A couple from Sheffield who won £7.6 million (US$15 million) playing the lottery in 2000 have given away £6 million (US$11.8 million) of their fortune.
Ray and Barbara Wragg have made countless donations to charity and spent money on family and friends since winning the jackpot six years ago.
Weston Park Hospital in Sheffield, which specializes in cancer treatment, and Sheffield Children’s Hospital have been the main beneficiaries.
“We decided that £7.6 million was too much for two people,” Mrs. Wragg said.
The couple have now been told by their financial advisor to be more careful with their cash.
“The donations will not be in the tens of thousands, but we will still be giving thousands away. If we could give more we would.”

In 2003 the couple came to the aid of a group of World War II veterans whose trip to honor their fallen comrades was in jeopardy.
They paid for 50 war heroes to visit Italy in May 2004 for the 60th anniversary o

Lottery players blog update 2006-12-17 22:14:34 Another weekend over nearly time to start work again.
Good news University of Portsmouth has closed for christmas yipeee, no more lecturers or seminars. Bad news suddenly realised I know nothing about anything from this semester, so christmas is going to be all study study study for me, to prepare for my university exams at the end of Janurary 2007.
Another good result for Bolton wanderers football club with a good one nil win, and then today chelsea won (boo) but manchester united lost (yeah). Means the UK premiership is getting more and more open, still a gap between the top two and the rest, but hey christmas football lots of games close together, its all up for grabs.
Anyway, Friday night (friday 15th december 2006), saw the euromillions lottery draw rollover again. No one won the euro millions jackpot on friday the 15th, so now its an estimated £35million rollover jackpot on Firday 22nd december 2006. Saturday saw three lucky lotto players scoop a share in the UK National Lottery
Germany debates online gambling 2006-12-17 21:47:45 Premiers from the 16 German states were unable to reach unanimous agreement Wednesday on proposed laws to protect state gambling monopolies by banning online
gambling in the country.
The heads of the individual German states met to discuss the ban, which would have to be approved by the federal parliament. Three German states — Bavaria, Saxony and Hesse — have already introduced state laws. Most of the German states run lucrative monopolistic lotteries and are keen to protect these revenues, according to the German newspaper Handelsblatt.
If Germany
were to deny access to its gamblers on protectionism grounds, it could find itself at odds with the European Commission, which is fighting to liberalize the European gambling market, but faces opposition from local and national governments who want to preserve state lottery and gambling monopolies.
The three south German states that have outlawed online gambling were doing so because they decided that an Austrian public company, Bwin In Read more:debates
General rant. 2006-12-18 21:42:09 Not a lot to say lottery related today to be honest. Not a lot lottery wise has happened, no new elottery players in the team now for two days, but one of my e-lottery affiliates is off to try and sign up his corner shop.
My car insurance was up for renewal this week, so have spent today calling around car insurance firms to get the best deal, and a big shout out to lloyds tsb who were the cheapest by far for me, well impressed. Not so impressed with Kwick fit, they had my business for the last year, and before my renewal quote came through I must say I found the customer service from them very good. However the quote was a different story, a hike in what I paid last year, for no obvious reason.
Kwickfit called me this morning to see if i would be renewing my issurance policy with them, when I said no they enquired why, I mentioned the price they had given me was some £400+ more than the cheapest quote. Within seconds they had smashed £400 off the quote, £400 wiped off the price lik Read more:General

In the Independent yesterday, it stated that the UK section of Tiscali

Do you think when it is sold that the mlm structure will remain as
none of the possible buyers use such a system?
I feel sorry for tiscali distributors - it must be a worrying time for
them.

The Key to Network Marketing Success- for Business builders
HOW MANY ACTIVE AFFILIATES (BUSINESS BUILDERS) WILL I NEED TO PRODUCE A DECENT INCOME?
You may be shocked to learn that just three to five is all you’ll need to generate a significant, full-time income. Now let me elaborate on this!
Too many people get caught up in QUANTITY. They constantly recruit dozens of affiliates, when it’s QUALITY that is the real key. Once you’ve found or developed 3-5 top-notch affiliates, you’re going to see a lot of great things happen with your business.
How do you develop quality affiliates? It’s real simple: WORK WITH THE WORKERS!
When you see people who are working VWD in your group, work with them! Support them closely, and train them to do the things you do so that you are creating duplication and maximum rewards.
You see, it’s more natural for us to let the workers in our group just do their own thing. After all, the

Kleeneze Premiers
I would like to thanks all Premiers who attended the meeting in
Accrington today at such short notice. We found it thoroughly
worthwhile and came away with some great ideas for the future.
We believe that it is essential that we concentrate on the core UK and
Irish business to ensure that you enjoy the service that you rightly
expect.
Nevertheless, we have listened to your views regarding Holland and
Germany and we have been impressed by the passion and strength of
feeling generated.
We agreed today to support the two countries with catalogues until
December
2007 and a weekly delivery of product. We cannot commit to retain
multi lingual capacity within the Kleeneze UK operation and we cannot
provide PR or Dutch and German sales aids.
We firmly believe that at this time we have to concentrate on the UK
but in doing so we are keen not to bar future int
