New Found Glory: Coming Home - Hold My Hand 1970-01-01 00:59:59 New Found Glory released a new album "Coming Home
". The American pop punk/melodic hardcore band is currently based from California. The band has already scheduled several tours, so you should watch out for it. You can visit the New Found Glory website at www.newfoundglory.com.Coming Home was produced by Thom "Da Nunz" Panunzio, who recorded Ozzy Osbourne, Tom Petty, and The Go-Go's and sold 38,845 copies in its first week. This mature album has slower and melodic songs. New Found Glory's fifth studio album, Coming Home debuted at #19 on the Billboard 200 chart with more than 30,000 copies sold.My honest reviews:"Oxygen" is about a hardly breathing state of being without the presence of a special person. The song begins with soft guitar riffs and well-controlled vocals until the song progresses. I like the constant second voice."Hold My Hand" is the most awesome song of New Found Glory inside this "Coming Home" album. I really love this song. The Hold My Hand intro is surprising Read more:New Found Glory

Octopus Project / Black Moth Super Rainbow: The House Of Apples And Eyeballs (Graveface) 1970-01-01 00:59:59 When two impossible to categorize bands attach at the hip for a freeform collaboration, the results may be even more gloriously confounding than thought possible. Both The Octopus Project
and Black
Moth SuperRainbow
make bright instrumental post-everything that adequately blends the organic and electronic into honestly forward-looking alien pop. The House
Of Apples
And Eyeballs finds both bands using its powers for the good of groove-driven post-pop, creating a statement that reigns in its ambition with an extremely admirable sense of cohesion. The best moments recall a Standards-era Tortoise that possesses the pep and bounce of the more electro-lounge era of Stereolab, but it's pretty plain from the outset that no apt comparison can do justice to what these bands set to tape. It's experimental, but always welcoming, so those jaded folks who still love their melody in spades have reason to smile.Octopus Project Band Members: * Josh Lambert: Guitar, bass * Toto Miranda: Drums, g
Child Bite: Wild Feast 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Yeah, punk rock is dead, but there are a handful of bands making chaos that refuse to believe this proclamation, and they're ll the better for it. And maybe the punk rock zombie has just been reanimated into a new unholy beast, and if so, Child Bite are roaming the streets searching for brains to infect. Spazz-tastic, post-post-punk is the mission statement of Wild Feast
, hild Bite's self-released molotov-cocktail of a record. At many junctures in this disc, it sounds as if Dave Thomas of Pere bu had decided to join a much filthier, more intimidating version of Devo circa '79, but there's also the haunting aterwauling f a pre-industrial-infatuated Ex Models or a version of Brainiac willing to throw in things like banjos to their squiggling nsanity. If this all doesn't sell you immediately, the record was also mastered by the great Weasel Walter of Flying uttenbachers/XBXRX/Lake Of Dracula fame. Sa-weet! Bang Gang: Find What You Get EP 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Find What You Get is a teaser for the gorgeously sullen and icy full-length from Bang Gang, Something Wrong, which is seeing its U.S. debut early next year on From Nowhere Records. For those who may not know, Bardi Johannsson is the genius behind Bang Gang's Icelandic brand of haunting and emotionally-heavy pop. Taking a cue from folks like Tindersticks, Black Box Recorder, and Talk Talk, Johannsson and a slew of guests create a complex and calculated story of breezy and cloudy hazes of sonic beauty. This EP features a few tracks from Something Wrong, including the superb single "Find What You Get". Johannsson has also played as one-half of Lady & Bird with chanteuse Keren Ann. Bang Gang allows him to adequately and wonderfully release his solo works that are sure to stun many a fan of sophisticated pop songs. All tracks clean.Bang Gang Bio:Bardi Johannson, tall and irregular stands as a man belonging to an Edward Gorey novel casting his shadow far too wide to fit his angular form. Ma

Pink Nasty: Mold the Gold (self released) 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Pink Nasty is more than just another standard-fare singer-songwriter in this dense indie landscape. In addition to her offbeat, whimsical demeanor and her brother being the unassumingly filthy rapper Black Nasty, Pink Nasty's brand of twangy Americana contains more than enough ingenious recklessness to catapult Mold The Gold above the tired-and-true comfort of the general country-rock mindset. While ballads like "Hot Pink House" have a grandiose undercurrent of classic tragedy at work, "Take It Back" is a downright joyous power-pop anthem. The legendary Will Oldham even makes an appearance on "Don't Ever Change," the bizarro world version of Lee Hazelwood and Nancy Sinatra doing their thing for our generation. Mold The Gold is much brighter than the recent crop of backwoods navelgazers and Pink Nasty lets her spirited songs ring as a welcome change of pace. The Berg Sans Nipple: Along The Quai (Team Love) 1970-01-01 00:59:59 The Berg Sans Nipple present a dazzling amalgam of dreamy electronica, percussion-heavy afro-beats, layers of feedback, pop melodies and dub blankets on Along the Quai, their first "proper" North American release and Team Love's most ambitious release to date. The disparate nature of their backgrounds (Nebraskan Shane Aspegren and Parisian Lori Sean Berg) mimics that broad array of influences while the duo's natural sound lends support to the rumor that they are actually Siamese Twins separated at birth. After putting together a series of EPs with contributions from Maria Taylor, Mike Mogis and members of Do Make Say Think, the pair set out last year with producer Antoine Gaillet (NTM, M83) to mold the sound that became Along the Quai. Having toured extensively through Europe, they now arrive at your doorstep prepared to wow the masses with their unique brand of vocally tinged electronica. The franco-american duo The BERG SANS NIPPLE consists of (but is not limited to) Lori Sean Ber
Buildings Breeding: Self-Titled CD 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Buildings Breeding
multi-instrumentalist Chris Larsen started this project as a complete farce. He created a MySpace page for a fictional Chicago quartet, creating numerous songs on his own for Melanie Glover, who was overseas at the time. Fascinated by the tunes, Glover accompanied the recordings with a tambourine. Larsen found her rhythmic flair and bought her a drum set, and Buildings Breeding was born. Ever since moving from fiction to fact, this Davis, CA quartet has grabbed everyone's attention, including the owner of Mushpot Records, who chose this recording to be her label's first release. Buildings Breeding create dynamic soundscapes that frequently toy with depth and richness. Much like its melodic predecessors, the band controls emotional return with impressive accuracy. It's easy to see why this once-fake act is now a reality-- Buildings Breeding was just too good to remain in the land of make believe!Review:A clean guitar rhythm, a catchy bass line and cheerful claps ac Read more:Buildings
Bloc Party: A Weekend in the City 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Bloc Party
released their second studio album, "A Weekend
in the City" which was produced by Jacknife Lee. The album cover is A Modern Project by Rut Blees Luxemburg. This album deals much more with normal day working life than was addressed on Silent Alarm, drawing themes from the 7 July 2005 London bombings, immigration, drug abuse, Black British lifestyle, homosexuality, and criticism of youth subculture. The first, low-quality leaked version has been mostly met with mixed reviews by web-critics and fans alike, with the success of Silent Alarm setting high expectations for the next album. The first UK single, "The Prayer", was released on January 29, 2007. Cezanne: Breaking Bats for Jesus 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Review:It's strange that the trajectory of indie-rock has recently abandoned the once-trademarked standard of fuzzed-out sonics and endearingly sloppy guitar melodies. Cezanne's mini-album Breaking
Bats For Jesus
sounds like it could've come out of Chapel Hill or Charlottesville circa 1993, but the songs have a power to rise above mere-throwback status and into their own post-slacker stratosphere. Cezanne is the now-NYC based one man band of John Daugherity, who has previously recorded under the name Ten Everlasting Seconds. Possessing a voice pitched almost flawlessly between worn and ragged, and airy and smooth, these seven songs instill fond remembrances of past peaks set by folks like Chavez, Archers Of Loaf and Pavement. No-nonsense indie-rock and roll like this is pretty hard to find nowadays, so why don't you let Cezanne transport you back to better days? All tracks clean. Fall Out Boy: Infinity on High 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Infinity on High is the fourth studio album of Fall Out Boy. It is the follow up to 2005's From Under the Cork Tree. The title is taken from a letter written by Vincent van Gogh to his brother Theo in 1888. In the letter, van Gogh describes his renewed health and the vigor it has instilled in his painting. The line that inspired the title is "Be clearly aware of the stars and infinity on high. Then life seems almost enchanted after all."
