Online Secured Loan UK !!!
2007-10-30 02:44:00
Online Secured Loan UK - Low Rate Money With In Your Reach Now !!!If you have an asset you most certainly have the means to borrow money should the need ever arise and this is possible with the help of loans such as an on-line secured loan UK.An on-line secured loan is exactly as the name infers - it is a loan availed by offering collateral to the loan provider. The collateral, or asset, can be the likes of a house, property, car or any other valuable asset so long as it has a high equity that can be used as security and give peace of mind to the lender that the loan will be repaid. If the borrower defaults on the loan then the collateral will be seized and sold to pay for the loan and because of this the lender is happy to offer a low rate of interest for an on-line secured loan UK.The loan can be used for many purposes such as education, wedding, home improvements, debt reconciliation, new car, holiday etc and can be availed by borrowers with a either a good credit history or a bad c

Credit Situation , Chex Systems , Collection Agency !!!
2007-11-07 14:06:00
Here is my current credit situation. Chex systems, Collection agency etc.. Need help thank you!? I have about 1,500 in debt on a bank of america credit card. Additionally I owe bank of america about 650 over 2 different checking accounts and a savings account.A collection agency is offering me a 70% settlement on my credit card. Is this the best bet?? I tried calling BofA to see if I could pay them directly. Is there a benefit to paying the bank directly? Or does taking the settlement make the most sense?Bank of America said they'd accept the aprox 650 for the checkings/savings accounts but would never open an account for me again. Fine. If I paid in full, and still had a credit card debt would they have to remove me from Chex Systems ?(they added me)..If I settle with the agency, what should I ask for(in writing) in return for payment? Paid in Full, submission to the 3 credit bureaus saying I've paid etc..After I pay the CC, and the accounts and get off Chex what must I do to recov

My Credit Score is 666 !!!
2007-11-07 07:29:00
My Credit Score is 666 ?!!!What does this mean? What does the devil have in store for me and my finances? The Answer : This is how your score breaks down:1. Payment history- 35%2. Total debt owed vs. available credit- 30%3. Length of time establishing credit- 15%4. Types of credit established- 10%5. Inquiries and New accounts- 10%If you're superstitious, and you feel that the devil has it out for you, you can quickly raise your score by paying down the balances on your credit cards. A good rule of thumb would be to keep the balances at 25-30% of the limit. For example if you had a $500 credit limit, the balance should be no higher than $125. I wouldn't worry too much about the score, like some of the people have already told you, it's better than theirs and your is around the national average, so cheer up!

To Pay A Settlement Or To Pay The Full Balance On A Charged Off Account !!!
2007-11-06 22:08:00
Is It Better for Your Credit Score To Pay A Settlement Or To Pay The Full Balance On A Charged Off Account ?!!!I Owe $865 on a charged off account but the company has offered to settle the account for $515. Is it better for my credit report to pay off the full 865 or to pay the settlementThe Answer : The only win-win situation in your case is that if they'll settle for $515, in return that it will get removed from your report. I would strongly suggest pushing for that. It's a possiblity that they may do it, then again they may not, or they may require the full amount in order to do it. If you're able to get them to do it, don't send a dime until you receive something from them in writing on their company letterhead stating they'll remove it.

Now hopefully, you have a better understanding of the true meaning and importance of credit. To understand how to rebuild your credit, you must first know what makes up your score:1. Payment history- 35%2. Total debt owed vs. Available Credit- 30%3. Length of time establishing credit- 15%4. Types of credit established- 10%5. Inquiries and New Accounts- 10%With the way the current mortgage/lending situation is, buying a house is going to be harder than it has been before. What Type of Card will I Most Likely Be Approved for !!!
2007-11-06 03:09:00
In Attempt to Rebuild My Credit , What Type of Card will I Most Likely Be Approved for ?!!!Should I apply for a credit card through my bank or should I try to get one from a department store? I've had my bank account for about 5 years. I have had a couple of overdraft issues but have taken care of them within a matter of 2 or 3 days. No overdrafts in the last year though.I don't want to go through the trouble of applying just to get denied and have that show up on my credit report. The Answer : You may want to check with your bank to see if secured credit cards are offered. Secured credit cards are the easiest credit cards to get mainly becuase you have to place a deposit upfront as collateral to secure a credit line. For example you place a deposit of $300, your credit line would be $300. By being able to add to the deposit to increase the credit line, it gives you more control over your credit line, while also allowing you to create a savings for yourself. Since the deposit is usual

Cancel A Bad Credit Card Even if Its The One I Ve Had The Longest !!!
2007-11-05 23:02:00
Should I Cancel A Bad Credit Card if Its The One I ve Had The Longes ?!!!I got my first credit card, from Capital One, about 3 and a half years ago. It has a $39 annual fee, a $500 limit, and the APR just went up a whole lot for no reason. Since then, I've only gotten one other credit card, and it's been open for 9 months. I don't use my capital one card at all, and my other one has a balance of less than $50. I'm trying to keep my credit score up. Should I keep the capital one card, and pay the $39 fee, or would it be okay if I went ahead and closed it? I guess I'm wondering how much of a difference there will be in my credit score. The Answer : Here is some things that you should know about your credit:1. Payment history- 35%2. Total debt owed vs. available credit- 30%3. Length of time establishing credit- 15%4. Types of credit established- 10%5. Inquiries and new accounts- 10%Now, having said that, closing that account would do more harm than good at this point. Since that Capit

Used Cars Auto Loans !!!
2007-11-05 08:26:00
Used Cars Auto Loans !!!If you are planning on buying a used car or a second hand car, then you will probably need a used car auto loan. It is basically the same as getting an auto loan for a new car with a few stipulations. First and foremost, auto loan lenders are looking for people who have demonstrated that they are worthy of borrowing money. This simply means that they are looking for people with good credit. Banks are concerned with the fact that they are lending money to people who may or may not be able to pay back their car loan. Because of this they often put certain stipulations on used cars to make sure that the auto loan they offer you is going to make enough interest on the money that you are borrowing. They often request that you take shorter car loans. They are usually not willing to give an auto loan to someone buying a $3000.00 car for 5 years. They feel more secure in giving an auto loan to someone who is buying a $3000.00 car for only 2 years. For people with bad cr

Prepaid Debt / Credit Cards You Can Get from Local Store !!!
2007-11-04 00:25:00
I am 18 , What Other Prepaid Debt / Credit Cards Can I Get from Local Store s ? Is there another card that money can be added to from a local store like walgreens or walmart. The Answer : Actually Wal Mart has a prepaid card that they're coming out with.American express has their gift card type thing, visa has one, and you could always get a plain gift card for a certain store and fill that up. Most let you re-fill your card when your balance runs out. Also, some stores have the same thing as green dot, from other companies. Also I Would encourage you to simply use a debit card linked to a checking account. I would NOT recommend that you get in to the habit of using credit cards. Paying for things with your own money is, in my opinion, a much better way to do things. You will build the discipline necessary to save for the things you need, instead of using other people's money (and paying them back more than you used) to buy things.

Which is Better for Your Credit ? ( See Details )I Have greatly improved my credit after a bankrupcy four years ago. I really don't have any huge expenses and a need for credit cards, but I've used credit cards and a small car loan to build back my worthiness. (You see, I may want to buy a home in a few years)My question:The very first card I got post-bankrupcy was an ORCHARD BANK mastercard which is known as a credit repair type card. So............... now that I have the other better cards with bigger limits ($6000+) does it look worse for my credit profile to close the ORCHARD account that I have the longest history with (or) does it look worse having a credit repair type card open??????????The Answer : 1.Payment history- 35%2. Regarding Credit !!!
2007-11-11 15:41:00
This is a 2 part question regarding credit.? First I am trying to find out what is the best way to improve my credit score for a mortgage approval to purchase a home for the first time. Currently, i have two judgements from old credit cards totaling a balance of 3k. Those have both been paid to law firms this week..In addition i have approximately 1000 to 1500 in various and numerous collection accounts approximately 10-15 accounts depending on which report you look at. some of them are six years old some are less than two years old and the highest balance on any one of them is $300. .Being that i just paid off the judgements i dont have a lot of other cash lying around to pay anything else. I also have a secured credit card with a 500 limit that i never pay late or carry more than $125 on. only had that account since june. Also an auto loan just opened last month for 5k that is current and will continue to be paid on time. my scores are anywhere from 587 experian to 630 equifax and 6

Closing Out Credit Cards Paid in Full Lower Your Credit Score !!!
2007-11-10 07:53:00
Will closing out credit cards that are paid in full lower my credit score?I have about 3 credit cards that are paid in full and there just sitting there. i was always told that having open lines of credit available could pose a threat to future lending loans. .i have older ones that i would keep open and i may use from time to time, so i would still have some credit to work with, but im not sure should i close the paid in full ones or not. any advice would be great. The Answer : I am Going to break down what makes up your score:.1. Payment history- 35%2. Total debt owed vs. available credit- 30%3. Length of time establishing credit- 15%4. Types of credit established- 10%5. Inquiries and new accounts- 10%Having said that, now this is what happens....When you close accounts, especially when they're paid off, you shorten the payment history, and even worse the available credit, which give the appearance that you owe more than you're capable of borrowing. Also, it shortens the average age

Get Visa Card !!!
2007-11-09 14:16:00
How Can I Get A Visa Card ?!!! I`m 18 years old, just finished high school and frequently I find myself on the internet wanting to buy cheap things in the $20-50 range, and I was wondering how and if I can get a $500-$1000 visa. I would probably only touch $100 of it and then keep my card and not use it to obtain good credit. How would I go about this? I know that you can apply online but I'm not sure how or where...Also, how long does it usually take to get accepted and get your card. The Answer : Secured cards are the easiest to get approved for reason being that you would place a deposit upfront as collateral to secure a line of credit. Where you bank like bdancer mentioned may offer these, a lot of the major banks (Citi, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, USBank) do. You can think of this as building credit with a savings account, because that's basically how it works. That deposit is usually linked to a savings account or CD that gains interest while you build credit. The 2 major a

Digging Yourself Out of Debt ! A Secured Credit Card Help Raising Your Credit Score ?!!!
2007-11-08 14:13:00
If I'm digging myself out of debt now will a Secured Credit Card help me raise my credit score when I'm ready? What are some good companies to get a secured credit card from? I am currently paying off hospital bills and never had a credit score in my life. I'm 36yo and would like to know what it's like to have credit for once. I know credit cards are bad. I'm mature enough to handle knowing I only want one to help me raise my credit score in case I want a house or need a small loan in the future for a car, etc. Thanks for any help. The Answer : To take it another step, secured credit cards are a PERFECT way to rebuild your credit, especially if you're able to come into a significant sum of money because the major difference between regular and secured cards is that you have to put a deposit that's used as collateral to establish a credit line in the same amount. @You can also control the credit line by increasing it when you add to the deposit. This is especially useful if you

100 Percent Stated Income Loans - Yes They are Still Available, But Hurry!
2007-11-08 04:39:00
100 Percent Stated Income Loans - Yes They are Still Available, But Hurry ! A stated income loan, is simply a mortgage loan wherein the borrower "states" their income, versus documenting their income, or "full doc".With the recent credit crunch, many lenders are tightening their guidelines for all stated income loans. I get calls everyday from Borrowers who can no longer find a 100% stated income loan. Ironically enough, I also find myself funding 100% stated income loans for other loan officers as well!A stated-income loan qualifies a borrower by using the income the borrower states, as opposed to the income the borrower can document. With a stated-income loan, the lender agrees not to verify the income the borrower states on the application.. . . . .Naturally a stated income loan is priced higher than fully documented loans, and the foreclosure rate is also higher. With overall foreclosure rates reaching uncomfortably high levels, stated-income loans have emerged as a possib

What company will give you a credit card when you have no credit?
2007-11-15 14:15:00
.What company will give you a credit card when you have no credit?.I am 19 years old with little to no credit history. I was able to get a credit card through a department store but was declined for a credit card through the bank (where i work none the less!) and for another one through a store. I am not desparate for money. .My reasoning is to build my credit score. I would perfer not to take out a loan to build credit until i actually have something i need a loan for. So... Does anyone know of a credit card company that will give someone like me credit card? I dont want to keep applying if I am just going to get rejected everytime. Thanks!!.The Answer : Capital One One currently reports the current balance as the credit limit giving the appearance that the account is at the limit, which isn't good for a credit score. This has been also made public, and Capital One will not start reporting correct credit lines until later this year or the beginning of next year. I understand in y

is better to pay off two smaller credit card debts or pay a big chunck of a card with a larger debt?
2007-11-14 14:15:00
is better to pay off two smaller credit card debts or pay a big chunck of a card with a larger debt?Suppose you were given $500 (friendly relative), you have three cards with debt. On two of them you owe $250 and the last you owe $3,000. Is it better to pay off two credit cards that are $250 each,or pay the minimum on those cards and the rest towards your $3000 debt? The Answer : Thats funny you mention this question on here, becuase I'm going through the same thing myself. I have 3 credit cards that I'm paying down, and I'm coming into some money that would pay off 2 completely and a portion of the 3rd, or ½ of the larger one and none of the other 2. It would depend on how much you're at the limit on each card. If you're maxed on all 3, what you may need to do is split the $500 between all three. $175 each on the $250 ones, and the rest towards the $3000 one. At least on the 2 $250 accounts, you would only need to pay $75 each and then you're done with those cards. But in all re

OnLine Mortgage Lender or Bank ?!!!
2007-11-12 13:31:00
When in the market for a new home, or when it's time to refinance, which is better - an online mortgage lender or the local bank? There was a time, not too long ago, that the only choice a borrower had was to visit their local bank and apply for their mortgage loan in person. In the last several years, more people have opted for an online mortgage lender, but is this a better choice than the local bank?To discover which one is best for you, let us take a look at the advantages and disadvantages of each .Online Mortgage Lender Shopping for a lender online may seem like a scary prospect, but understanding a few basic facts will make you feel much more comfortable.
