“Whether a question or a statement, it’s something we have addressed in podcasts, letters, online posts, articles and emails until our fingers bled.
Ok, they didn’t actually bleed…but they got seriously sore!
The black and white answer to ‘Can I do this on my own?’ is… yes.
Now, you can walk away and smile to yourself as you whisper ‘I knew it’, or, you can hear the conditions of that answer…
YES, you can do this on your own, IF you have the financial discipline and mathematical skill.
YES, you can do this on your own, IF you have the right kind of HELOC.

Mortgage Accelerator Programs come to the US 2007-09-21 16:32:01 Not to be confused with a biweekly mortgage loan that shortens a mortgage by paying an extra mortgage payment once a year, the mortgage accelerator loan program is based on an approach common in Australia and the United Kingdom, where borrowers deposit their paychecks into an account that, every month, applies every unspent dime against the mortgage loan balance.
In Australia, more than one-third of homeowners use a mortgage accelerator program. In the U.K., it’s about 25 percent. In the U.S., two firms currently offering these mortgages are Macquarie Mortgage
s USA, where it is called the Macquarie Asset Manager, and CMG Financial Services, whose offering is called the Home Ownership Accelerator
.
The premise is that borrowers finance a new property or refinance existing property using a home equity line of credit, Read more:Programs
How to make water in the desert. 2007-09-21 16:23:55 How to Make Water in the Desert
The desert is hot and dehydration can set in quickly. If you are stuck or stranded in the desert, you can use the sun to generate a sufficient amount of water
for yourself. You will probably, however, lose more water perspiring while building the still than it will generate for you in the end. This article discusses the concept of a “Solar ’still”, or distillery. It can be used to collect water from soil in any climate, given enough sunlight and existent soil moisture.
Steps
Dig a few curved holes (the more the better) about two feet deep so that the moist subsoil is clearly visible. If you are in dryer conditions, dig the hole a bit deeper, as it is essential that the moist subsoil is clearly visible.
Place an open coffee can, mug, cup or canteen in the center of each hole.If you have a length of plastic tubing, you can run it from the bottom of the coffee can out the edge of the hole.
Lay a taut piece of clear plastic wrap acros
Seagate’s New Line of Hard Drives 2007-09-21 16:20:42 Original Article Here
If you’re working the surveillance detail for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, or just want to record video of live sports events, Seagate
Technology has the hard drives for you.
The Scotts Valley, Calif.-based company announced nine new products on the eve of its annual analyst meeting, scheduled to take place later this week.
Unlike in the past, when hard-drive makers typically released the same basic drive for various markets, they now nip and tuck their products to fit specific customer profiles and applications. Ideally, this lets drive makers squeak more profit out of their products and gain relief from the punishing price wars in the PC market.
“We spent too much time being boxed in by Intel and Microsoft,” said Bill Watkins, Seagate’s CEO.
Many of the new products are geared toward consumers because that market now consumes more gigabytes per year than the commercial market does. (Some of the new products will come out now

The Money Merge Account in Texas 2007-10-05 12:02:37 The term ‘betting the farm’ might have come from Texas
. Due to farmers extracurricular activities in saloons, Texas created a series of laws to protect the Homeowner…from themselves. Hence, the Money
Merge Account
™ program does not function in the same fashion as every other state. The result?United First Financial will not issue a Money Merge Account™ program to any Homeowner in Texas, using a Texas HELOC. They will only issue a Money Merge Account™ program if they can guarantee the results, and with the unusual Real Estate laws in Texas, they can’t.‘Then can’t I get a loan from a Bank OUTside of Texas?’ You can, but the results will be the same. It’s not the location of the Bank, it’s the location of the property that matters. Hence, a HELOC on Texas property simply won’t work. However, there are ways to make the Money Merge Account™ program work in Texas, and has been approved by UFF. The main tool you need is a personal line of credit, or a business line
Weather Preperation 2007-10-03 14:20:37 Survival in different climates can often depend on the weather. Choosing where to camp or go exploring, etc. can as well.
There are several good indicators of climatic changes.
Wind
You can determine wind direction by dropping a few leaves or grass or by watching the treetops. Once you determine the wind direction, you can predict the type of weather that is imminent. Rapidly shifting winds indicate an unsettled atmosphere and a likely change in the weather.
Clouds
Clouds come in a variety of shapes and patterns. A general knowledge of clouds and the atmospheric conditions they indicate can help you predict the weather. […]
Smoke
Smoke rising in a thin vertical column indicates fair weather. Low rising or “flattened out” smoke indicates stormy weather.
Birds and Insects
Birds and insects fly lower to the ground than normal in heavy, moisture-laden air. Such flight indicates that rain is likely. Most insect activity increases before a storm, but bee activity increases
Blogging Away 2007-10-31 16:09:02 I haven’t been around for a while, but I doubt if anyone has read my blog since I last did, anyway. I wonder, sometimes, if keeping a blog is merely for the purpose of entertaining myself, as very few people ever drop in to read someone else’s blog. That is why I don’t just post whatever is on my mind, usually. I try to post what is on my mind by using information that I hope others will find interesting and useful, too.
I go out and read other peoples blogs once in a while, just for the sake of seeing what people are talking about, but I have to admit, I like the blogs which have information about something better than just a diary or rant. Now I’m laughing at myself, because that is exactly the way I am! So random!

Happiness and Perfection 2007-11-29 12:01:49 I got a Money Merge Account!!! Yay!! It really is as good as they say it is. Because when it comes to being prepared physically, I’m all about it. Learning the sweet new ways to survive in the harsh…. uh, whatever happens thats harsh, but when it comes to financial preparedness, I’ve got to have something backing me; If I don’t have that, I feel lost. I called a few places to learn about it, but in the end I decided to get it from The Jubilee Project, as they seemed to have the most–and best–material, and the most support.
I’ll list a few places that have phone numbers in case anyone wants to call and question these people to death. haha
