KDE 4.0 and Opensuse 10.3 2008-03-10 20:50:14 At date 17-19 januari 2008 KDE 4.0 has been launching in Google campus. This Window Manager have been long enough been waited for by Linux lover. Considering success from KDE 3.0.I also have waited KDE 4.0. Therefore I try for install into Opensuse 10.3 through link Opensuse-Kde.Installation felt so quickly. But there is a few/little problem when I change background image. Every I change background image always become to turn white. New Background seen [by] if me ' relogin'.As a whole running KDE 4.0 in Opensuse 10.3 rather make to confuse. Considering that widget-widget still be difficult to controlled.I hope there is update for next release. Because moment of this blog I made, KDE 4.0.2. has been release too.
My MicroSD memory card (1 GB) fail 2008-02-20 01:12:46 I have Motorola phone (Motorokr e6). On this phone, I install games for my children. The Game is install on memory card microSD SanDisk 1 GB.Yesterday, suddenly I am shock because the game is disappear. This matter make me confuse because unprecedented previously.I restart the phone. Next to that happened make me panic. That make the phone is hang.I start to distrust by my memory card. Hence my memory get out from the phone. And then my phone is live again.I try to repair my microSD with format through Windows XP and Linux, that is fail. Finally I try googling. Problem Module squidguard - webmin 2008-04-10 20:32:40 In my office all accessing to internet through proxy server squid which diinstall Opensuse 10.3.Because accessing our internet is only limited at outside office hours, hence at our proxy squid is using Helping programs that is squidguard. This matter is done to facilitate arrangement access time.Moment determine time access this through our Webmin meet mistake message like this:Error - Perl Execution failedUndefined Subroutine & main::chown called at / usr/libexec/webmin/squidguard/save_weekly.cgi lino 63 I check file save_weekly.cgi at line 63 and change &chown($config{conf}) by & sgchown($config{conf}).Error above disappearing.This is simple tips from me hopefully good for reader.

.This the result :Everything is Success. Except the following :1. Wifi is not work. I try using madwifi and ndiswrapper. Both cannot help.2. Sound is not work.Summary:I think this notebook is not compatible with Opensuse 10.3.
Add new Destionation Group SquidGuard from Webmin. 2008-05-13 22:02:59 When I add destination group from webmin, there is error. I think it happen because Webmin module create db file.I try manually create via linux editor (vi, kate). There is no problem. And destination group work perfectly.

Sound is work fine.2. Network run, but can not set DNS Name via GUI.3. Wireless network ever work, but now die again :( . Using 64 bit driver and ndiswrapper.4. KDE 4 is working good too.I think Opensuse 11 is good Linux Distro untill now. Nice work.
