I'm back in the christmas spirit ! 2006-12-03 23:16:00 Yes, folks. It's that time of year again. It's time to look out your christmas decorations, send hours getting the whole house decked out and it's also time for something quite slended.
The splended event isnt the family opening presents together on christmas day. It's not even the big family dinner that most of you will sit down to. No, no, no. It's something more splended! It's been a year in the making but it's finally here. It's time for me to....BITCH ABOUT THIS TIME OF YEAR!
I don't mind the actual christmas day. That can be fun. I mind the period of time before that day. I'm talking about the amount of people that seem to come out of the woodwork! I shall start..today, I decided I needed to head down to the local store to get wrapping paper and christmas cards. WHAT A MISTAKE! My whole journey there and back normally takes me 30 minutes. Today, it took me 1 hour and 30 minutes. Queues of traffic seemed to be never ending, the number of pricks that couldnt even be bothe Read more:spirit
Cystic fibrosis 2006-11-29 23:11:00 In the news today, I came across an article that's close to my heart. In the UK, there's a guy who is the Chancellor Gordon Brown. Today its been confirmed that his 4 month old son has Cysticfibrosis
(CF).
CF is an inherited condition affecting the glands that produce body fluids or secretions. In CF, these secretions are stickier and thicker than normal. This hinders the functioning of important organs such as the lungs and the digestive system. Why is this close to my heart? My younger brother died of Cystic fibrosis when he was just 20 months old. I was 4 at the time and dont remember much of what happened but my mum has talked about it with me from time to time.
Faulty GeneIts exact cause, discovered in 1989, is a faulty gene. To develop CF a baby has to inherit the faulty gene from both parents. About one in 25 people are carriers of CF (2.3 million people in the UK).Inheritance is autosomal recessive (if both parents are carriers there's a one in four chance the child will hav
Chinese whispers 2006-11-29 05:41:00 It's a sad state of affairs when you think to yourself "I wonder how long it'll take for the mental health story to reach other members of the online community? more so the part where I said I had a eating disorder." I'm guessing only a few hours and certain people will be talking about it.
And when that does happen, it'll be the talk of MsN for sure. The story will change a 100 times. Certain people, who claim not to give a shit about people they've met online, will spend HOURS/DAYS/WEEKS/MONTHS going on and on about it.
That happens quite a lot to the people that blog with me. There's a lot of hatred and that's an even worse state of affairs. I dont know if anyone has ever had the misfortune of talking with shallow people, as we have. The rumors, the attempting to create a situation that must lead to online arguments, the attemped belittling that happens daily...The joys of online.
What makes me wonder, is what people actually gain from it all? I've been there. I've done a f Read more:Chinese

WARNING: WATCHING THIS MOVIE MAY BE DETRIMENTAL TO YOUR HEALTH! 2006-11-25 18:30:00 The movie in question? BTK Killer. Don't ever watch it. PLEASE. For the love of God, don't watch it. It has got to be THE worst movie I've ever had the misfortune to watch. I cannot believe people make this kind of shit. I could have done better with my mobile phone and a cast of monkeys, untrained that is.
It had the makings of a great horror movie. Based on a true story, from what I can remember, the BTK killer was a total psycho, wasn't caught for years and years. And the inaccuracies in this movie were unbelievable. I actually sat through the first "torture" scene, and with his name meaning "bind, torture, kill", I thought, oooh this should be great! I could not believe the scene was over. Where was the torture? Whoa, she got a rat shoved in her mouth. OMG TORTURE!!!!!!!!! I pretty much turned the movie off after that. Oh I perservered for about another 10 minutes, but I could not tolerate it anymore. What the fuck does an abbatoir have to do with the BTK? In real life, NOTHIN

I thought I would share one of the many games I use to pass time while online. This really isnt an interesting post BUT I wanted to show just how brilliant I am at this game lol.
Level 96, doods! I actually got up to level 98 before I lost but never took a screenshot before starting that level.
If you're ever bored, get your ass onto yahoo games and play them all! I might even dazzle you with screenshots of rocket mania.blog of everything
It's a sad day in cyberland 2006-11-17 01:22:00 Of all the millions and millions and millions of websites/games/blogs/porn out there in the www, I've come to the point where I'm so bored that I'm thinking of checking to see if I have any split hairs. This cant be good. I shouldn't be so bored with the vast amount of viewing just a few clicks away. Is this the point in my cyber life that I start to rethink connecting online? I THINK NOT. It just means more playing of yahoo games such as rocket mania and bounce out.
Now that I've visited all websites I like to frequent, replied to my message board, thought about replying to myspace (couldnt be arsed). I've now decided to make this understandable, yet useless post before I fix my chair, go pee, then make myself a cup of tea. See how I got that typed out to rhyme? Smart Scottish cookie here, I'll tell ya!
Before I leave/drag you into boredom along with me. I shall leave you with a parting piece of advice: If your mother ever buys a new mobile/cell, make sure she knows how it work
Me v The Neighbours 2006-11-14 16:31:00 Yet again, I've had a few words with neighbours. My area sucks ass, to be honest. So I'm not surprised that a hot headed person, such as myself, manages to argue with people over anything.
I cant remember if I have mentioned it before but I cant park outside my building. Which means I have to park on the next street. Since I moved into this building, I've bitched about the way people park on the street. They never care about anyone else needing to park and they take up about 2 parking spaces. Well, today I had a run in with one of the neighbours who thinks he's better than everyone else. He owns a catering buisness, owns one of the big houses on the street and has about 3 cars and two big catering vans. Not to mention the trailers for his catering too.
I'll set the scene...Me coming home after being at my gran's and then the local supermarket. I turn off the main road and see a parking space right on the corner. So I pull in and then notice the catering trailer sitting at the ot Read more:Neighbours
A sad story (makes me angry!!) 2006-11-08 04:23:00 I'm going to tell you all something my mum told me about this weekend. I swear. I was so angry
after she told me. Someone should go to the local papers with this!
My mum is a home carer. With living out in the country side, some old people/people with learning difficulties don't have a lot of family and need certain care. Awhile ago, my mum was asked to help look after a guy called Sandy. He has learning difficulties and had been getting care from a woman for over 13 years. My mum was brought in because she lived in the same village as them. They would budget his money, save it up for him. Which helped him buy a brand new flat screen TV, dvds, books...anything he wanted. He was very popular in the area. Everyone knew him and spoke to him.
About 4 months ago, Sandy's social workers suggested to him that it would be better if he moved away from the small area and got a place near more shops and social life. So 3 weeks later, they got him a new flat/apartment and moved him away. We wo Read more:makes

Faintings and walkouts greet new horror film
A new horror film featuring gruesome torture scenes has sparked walkouts from cinemas across WA and has left others fainting in the aisles.Saw III, about a serial killer devoted to inventing grisly torture techniques, features a human skull being opened and probed and a naked woman being frozen to death.Janelle McBain, regional marketing manager for Hoyts, said staff had been comforting a raft of people who had passed out after watching the disturbing scenes. Two people fainted with fright at Garden City, a schoolboy collapsed at Southlands and several people walked out at Rockingham. No ambulances were called and the people who fainted were left in the care of friends and family, she said. The spate of faintings in WA comes after emergency service were called three times in one night in Britain after patrons passed out on the film's opening night.Teenagers as young as 15 are permitted to watch the film, whi

5 kids set off for an afternoon boating trip but all is not as it seems. A plan has been set to teach the bully of the group a lesson he wont forget. After a change of heart, a few try to overturn the plan but things take a dramatic twist. One they'll never forget.
I bought Mean Creek at the same time as I bought my Nightmare on Elm Street collectors boxset and Family Guy. The movie has been classed as Deliverance meets Stand by Me (by Total Film magazine), and with that in mind, I really did think I would end up disappointed. The movie starts off good. Giving you the storyline on the reason for the kids plan. Keeping you informed about the characters background in a way that's not too overwhelming I was beginning to think maybe it was worth the statement by Total Film but then the ending was downfall. It would have been g Read more:Movie Review

Reply to Michele's sideblog 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I understand where you're coming from Michele
. You can see that you've done wrong, and you can apologise for it. I praise you highly for that. A lot of people can't see what they've done wrong, and how much they've hurt people. A few days ago, my sister came here to pay back some money she owed my father. She didn't have the full amount to pay him back, and she knew if I found out, I would have had a go at her. She proceeded to pay back Dad behind my back, then walked into my bedroom where I was, and told me that she was not a taxi service, that the driving around she had done for me cost her fifty dollars in petrol (a lie to start with, it doesn't cost fifty dollars to drive to the local shopping centre twice) and that in turn she had no money for groceries. So, I asked her what her problem was. She then started in on me about my mother's funeral, saying that she had no say in anything that was done (another lie), then said that my mother was never her mother, that she was MY

An idea of mine 1970-01-01 00:59:59 I dunno if I'll use this or not, but I thought of making this donkey our blog mascot. Have him sitting under the link buttons and maybe having a funny quote or what not, under him.Only thing is...we need a name for him. So far, Donnie has been suggested. Any suggestions for a name for him are welcome. We'll pick the best one and I'll see if we'll use my idea. Could have funny movie quotes, funny chat quotes (if there are any) or The Donkey's words of wisdom! Except the challenge of naming the donkey!blog of everything
A word, if I may... 1970-01-01 00:59:59 It's been over a week since I last posted anything here. To be truthful, I've lacked words to post and more so..lacked the drive to post anything. Been feeling like shit, been going through hell and it's not even close to being over but I'm a soldier (as most of you know) and I'll pull through it.I bought a book today, which I'll read and most likely review in a few days. Got some new dvd's and I'll most likely tell you about one of them. We'll see how shit goes and thank you to everyone who has been asking/worrying about my condition. I love you all! and I'm sorry to the people that may think I've been ignoring them. I've not. It's just how I deal with things. I love you all too!blog of everything
Disappointment at it's best 1970-01-01 00:59:59 So, I hear about this new movie coming out in cinemas near me soon (if not already) So, as usual, I go looking for a link to watch the trailer for it. I open google, type in the movie name which happens to be The Devils Rejects and BINGO I find a link for it.I'm all happy by this point, so I sit and the page loads (slowly because of my dial-up). I see a trailer (which is weak in my opinion) and then the main site page loads up. I start looking around, playing with all the buttons because they've got different sounds and shit. This movie is by Rob Zombie and because of House Of 1000 Corpses...I can't wait to find out more.Imagine how I felt when I try to look through the site and find that I CAN'T. This movie has an R rating, so you have to be over 18 to view anything on the site. It asks me to fill out some details...name, date of birth, zip code.....I don't have a zip code with living in Scotland. We deal with postcodes here but I type it in anyway (you never know. I might have b Read more:Disappointment

BaxleyExecutive produced by Mark Carliner and Stephen KingStephen King's Red Rose is a tale of a haunted mansion that seems to have a life of its own. Eventful day in the life of Me! 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Well, it was an evening. The past two days, I've had a killer cough (as rob can tell you. he's now deaf because of me) but the second day (today) was worse! I was sort of ok driving out to my mum's. Usual bullshit...runny nose and sneezing (from hayfever) but while eating dinner with my mum, I had a coughing fit, which normally would be funny to my mum (she seems to like laughing at my little misfortunes right now) but I near enough turned purple. I managed to calm that down but all the way home, I could feel pain in my throat...So I get home, turn the computer on, get a drink and pick a dvd to watch. Then awhile later, I start to cough again and this time, I cant stop for ages. When I finally do, I cant breath right at all. So I called the NHS 24 helpine we have here in the UK. Spoke to really nice nurse who told me to get up to G Docs, which is an out of hours GP. to cut the journey up there short....I get there and the doc takes one look at me and decides I need to be admitted in Read more:Eventful
