Kidnapped Photographer Emilio Morenatti Freed 1970-01-01 00:59:59 Emilio Morenatti, the AP photographer kidnapped in the Gaza Tuesday has been set free unharmed. He said his kidnappers only spoke Arabic, which he doesn't understand, and that he was blindfolded most of the time. At one point he was held in a small room and visited by masked men. He was also dressed in women's clothes and moved around from one secret place to another for a day. Then before midnight he was taken to the office of Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas. The Palestinian Prime Minister's office has made the statement that they know who the kidnappers are and will pursue them.Who knows what the point of this kidnapping, like many others, was?
