Hell, I watched the "Deadliest Catch" and "Man vs. Wild" and I ain't getting stuck in an "Ice Crevice" without a full belly!So, my Chauffeur picks me up tomorrow at 4:30 AM PST to get to LAX to get to Anchorage. 13. This is the first time the band has actually played on the recordings. In the past I've only had the drummer come in and do his parts and then I record everything else. Working with the guys in the studio was a really cool experience, and I am shocked about how easy it has been going. I can't thank Racci and Nate enough! We survived another very bumpy flight, and were very relieved when we touched down. I'm watching that show Heroes for the first time, it's not bad. Rick is probably making tacos, and Bryce is probably....sleeping. It was one hundred and eight degrees in the valley today, so I might go to the beach tomorrow and do some body surfing (actually my version of body surfing is standing in front of the wave and then getting knocked over). We should be announcing some tour dates shortly. We are looking forward to the headlining shows in mid September! Oh I think I saw Little Richard in the airport today (at least it looked like him). Made only slightly more enjoyable by the fact that afterwards, Dominic informed me that there was an eager Primal Scream fan (they were on after us) right at the front for most of the gig telling us we were shite and getting really pissed off with our tunes. The guy was obviously a genius because everyone knows he could have just walked back up the hill to the bar, had a few pints and been back where he was standing with complete ease instead of making a clown of himself in front of loads of people for an hour and fifteen minutes. I had no idea this was going on because I had earplugs in (why didn't he?). Probably a Rangers fan too! So, aye, that's us finished the touring for 2007 and again, thanks if you came to see us this year. Due to lack of funding this safe heaven is in danger of closing leaving over 400 lions, tigers, wolves and other assorted animals to the care of county animal control. We were in Joao Peesoa, Recife, Natal and Fortaleza. I played with Vasco Fae, an awesome musician who can play harmonica, drums, guitar and he can sing too. We performed at the "OI! Blues by Night" festival and the reaction from the crowd was amazing. Sold out gigs in a region that is totally different from the world of Blues. I was impressed with the local musicians playing the Blues with skills and a lot of heart and soul. We did versions of Robert Johnson, Buddy Guy along with versions of Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, etc... A very special thanks to Giovane Papaleu, who organized and produced the festival in a pioneering attitude. Congratulations to all who participated and I'm ready for the next ones!
