10 - The Color White
2007-09-23 05:24:00
White is the source of all colors. In the color spectrum, we can witness that from white derive seven other colors. And when those seven colors come together, we have the white color. Thus, white has a special place among the other colors. In the Quran “to be white” is expressed by the word “ebyad”. The mathematical value of this word is 813. (In Arabic, the same characters are used both for numbers and letters. That is why each letter, and consequently each word, has a numerical value). If we add up the numbers of the verses where the color white is mentioned, we end up with the mathematical value of the word, viz 813. Mathematical value of the letters derived form the word “ebyad” Alif 1 Ba 2 Ya 10 Dwad 800

9 - The Land-Sea Ratio
2007-09-16 12:46:00
The word sea (bahr) is used 32 times in the Quran. The word bahr is used both for the sea and other waters like lakes and rivers. The word land (berr, yabas) is used 13 times. If we calculate the ratio of 32 to 45 the result is 71.111%.You may look up in any encyclopedia in the world and see that the lands cover 71% of the earth whereas the seas cover 29% of it. It is really an interesting miracle that scientific and the Quranic ratios of the lands to the seas are exactly the same. This knowledge which was not available in Muhammad’s time is coded in the Quran with concordance of words. People who will outgrow their stubbornness will see that this is an easy to understand and impossible to imitate miracle. The Word Number of occurrence The Ratio Sea 32 32/45=71.111Land 13 13/45=28.888 The ratio of seas to earth %71The ratio of lands to earth %29

8 - The Date of the Landing on the Moon
2007-09-16 12:44:00
In chapter 16, we studied the expressions in the Quran that alluded to man’s landing on the moon. One of the most important among the signs is in the first verse of the sura “Qamar”. The number of verses to be counted from this verse to the end of the Quran is 1398. The year 1389 in the Muslim calendar corresponds to the year 1969 in the Gregorian calendar. And the year 1969 was the year when man landed on the moon for the first time. (On the other hand, the number 1389 also points out that man will land on the moon 1389 years after this verse or the Quran was revealed by God. Because the Muslim calendar had started at a time when the revelation was not completed.)1- The Hour has come and split the moon has. 54 – The Moon, 1How many verses are there from the first verse of the sura Qamar till the end of the Quran? 1389 In which Muslim year did the first man land on the moon? 1389

7 - The Months
2007-09-16 12:44:00
The earth’s revolution around the sun makes 365 days while, the moon’s 12 revolution around the earth makes12 months. The Quran says that there are 12 months in year. As we all know, a year consists of 12 months. On the other hand, in the Quran, the word “a month” (þehr) is also mentioned 12 times to indicate that there are 12 months in a year. The following verse mentions this:36- …twelve is the number of months with God… 9 – Repentance, 36The word Number of occurrenceA month 12 The number of the months or the number of the moon’s revolation around 12 the world in a year 12

6 - The Moon
2007-09-16 12:43:00
The word moon (Qamar), is used exactly 27 times in the Quran together with its derivatives. This number is equal to the number which is the moon’s ecliptic cycle around the world. (We mentioned the Quran’s description of the moon in the 15th and 16th chapters of our book’s first section). The Quran indicates that both the sun and the moon are based on calculation. (Gracious, 55) The sun’s and the moon’s definition in terms of mathematics is interesting and these words in question are mathematically coded in the Quran. The word Number of occurrenceMoon 27How long does the moon’s ecliptic cycle take? 27

5 - That Day and the Resurrection Day
2007-09-16 12:41:00
We saw earlier that the word “day” in the Quran, with its singular, plural and derivative uses constitudes a miracle. Apart from this, the noun phrases of the same word also produce mathematical miracles as well. For example, we see this miracle in phrases like “that day” used in connection with the end of the world (yewme izin) and the “the day of resurrection day” (yewmül qiyameh). Both noun phrases are used; 70 times. Here are two example verses for these words:8- Many faces will be joyous on that day. 88. He Who Besieged, 867- …the whole earth is within His fist on the day of resurrection. 39. The Throngs, 67The word Number of occurrenceThat day 70The day of resurrection 70

4 - Year
2007-09-16 12:39:00
The derivatives of the word “year” (sinet, sinin) are mentioned 19 times in the Quran. The solar and lunar calendars need correction because of the leap year. When the world revolves around the sun 365 times, the moon revolves around the earth and itself 12 times. This constitudes a year. But when the earth completes its revolvation and arrives at the starting point, the moon is behind the schedule. It takes the earth and the moon 19 years to meet at the same starting point. This cycle of 19 years is called the Meton cycle. The lunar calendar re-arranged in every 19 years, ends up with 7 leap years (355 days) and 12 full years (354 days) during this period. It is also another surprising characteristic of the miracles that the singular year (sinet) is used 7 times, whereas the plural year (sinin) is used 12 times in the Quran. And all the derivatives of the word “year” are used 19 times, an indication of the Meton cycle. The word Number of occurrenceThe word Year 19 In how many

2 - Days
2007-09-16 12:38:00
The different use of the word “day” in the Quran is a miraculous phenomenon. While the singular word “a day” is used 365 times, the plural of it (eyyam, yewmeyn) is used 30 times. This represents the number of the days in a month which is 30. So it is meaningful that while the singular “day” (yewm) is mentioned 365 times, the plural of it (eyyam, yevmeyn) is mentioned 30 times. In the solar calendar, the months have either 30 or 31 days and in the lunar calendar the months have either 29 or 30 days. So, the number 30 is the intersection group for both calendars. In the community to which the Quran was revealed, the lunar calendar was in use; the mention of “30” is therefore meaningful. It takes 29.53 days for the moon, the planet in the sky, to make a month. The rounded figure is 30. With such mathematical miracles, we witness that the Quran calculates correctly this rounding up bussiness. Likewise, the world completes its cycle around the sun in 365.25 days exactly. The

1 - A Day
2007-09-16 12:37:00
The word “a day” (yewm) is used 365 times in the Quran. The figure 365 does not only represent the number of days in the calendar, but it is also the figure that shows the astronomic relationship between our world and the sun. When our world completes its round around the sun, it has revolved 365 times around its own axis. In other words, when the world has completed its cycle around the sun, this means we have lived 365 days on earth. It is important that the word “one day” has been used 365 times in the Quran, because the world’s revolution around the sun takes 365 days. The exact number 365 is not accidental! This word alone is enough to show that there is a conscious order in the Quran. The dimension of the miracles will be clearer when 50 examples in this section and the section on the number 19 are carefully examined. The Word Number of occurrenceA day 365 The number of the days in which the world completes its revolution around the sun? 365

LIKE LOCUSTS
2007-09-05 15:09:00
7- They will come out of the graves with downcast eyes like an expanding swarm of locusts.54-The Moon, 7In the verse above, unbelievers are reminded that they will be resurrected and that it will be a difficult day for them. Imagine, billions of men rising from the dead, coming out of their graves! Confusion, perplexity, fear, remorse... Everybody on his own... The only help is from God. The day when high offices, families, riches and possessions have no value- the day of no return...The resurrected are likened to locusts; why particularly locusts? Recent research benefiting from micro cameras conducted by a systematic observation of insects have given us an idea about the reason for the selection of locusts as an example. To begin with, swarms of locusts, billions of them together, give the impression of a vast rain cloud without end, a black mass stretching far and wide many kilometers! Locusts bury their eggs in the earth and their larvae spend some time under the ground before they

FROM BIG BANG TO BIG CRUNCH

104- On that day We will fold the heaven, like the folding of a book. Just as We initiated the first creation, We will revert it. This is Our promise. We will certainly fulfill it.21-The Prophets, 104I would like to bring an interesting point to your attention. In the verse it is said that God will return it to its former state. Therefore, to be able to understand the end of the universe, we have to go back to the first three chapters of our book where the beginning of Creation is described. The fact that they appear in the same sura is meaningful (The beginning is explained in the sura The Prophets; verse 30, in the same sura, verse 104, the end is explained).30- Do not these disbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were an integrated mass, which We then split, and from water We made all living things? Will they not believe even then?21-The Prophets, 3047- With power did We construct Heaven. Verily, We are expanding it.51-The Dispersing, 47We deduce from the above two verses;1-

DEATH OF THE STARS AND THE SUN
2007-09-05 15:08:00
8- When the stars are put out.77-The Emissaries, 8At the time of the descent of the Quran, people believed that the light of the stars would last forever. This at a time when the inner structure of the stars was a mystery and the fact that the energy of the stars would, one day, be exhausted was not known. The Quran’s prediction about the end of the stars is a miraculous statement.2- When the planets are scattered.82-The Shattering, 2While the verses speak of the putting out of stars, the planets, not light sources, will scatter. The Arabic word for a star is “najm,” while “kavkab” is a planet. Given the fact that the planets are dependent on a central star, when this star is no more, the planets will necessarily scatter. (There have been translators who translated both words as stars without heeding the difference between them.) Planets are not light sources, therefore their extinction is out of question. The Quran displays its miraculous attribute in all its statements.1- W

ELECTRIC LIGHT BULB, ELECTRICITY, RAPID TRANSMISSION OF MATERIAL AND NEW MEANS OF COMMUNICATION
2007-09-05 15:07:00
35- God is the light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His light is that of a niche in which is a lamp. The lamp is enclosed in glass. The glass is like a pear-like planet. Lit with the oil of a blessed tree, the olive, neither of the east, nor the west, whose oil appears to light up even though fire touches it not. Light upon light. God guides to His light whomever He wills. God sets forth parables for the people. God knows all things.24-The Light, 35We believe that there are implications in the Quran indicating certain important inventions that were to take place in the future for mankind. At the time of the Prophet, when these inventions were beyond human imagination, people could not have imagined them. How could it be possible to explain to these people what electricity and the electric light bulb were? The verse above seems to hint at electricity and the light bulb. However, I am not claiming that this is its only significance. It is certain that the scope of it must be

THOSE WHO DISBELIEVE IN THE END OF THE UNIVERSE
2007-09-05 15:07:00
3- Those who disbelieved said, “There is no coming of the Hour for us.” Say, “No, by my Lord, the knower of the unseen, it will certainly come upon you.”34-Sheba, 350- If We give him a taste of mercy after suffering some adversity, he says, “This belongs to me. I do not think that the Hour will come. Even if I am returned to my Lord, I will find in Him better things.” Certainly We will inform the disbelievers of all their works and We will afflict them with severe retribution.41-Elucidated, 50In the first part of our work we dwelt upon the creation of the universe. The time has come now to examine the end of the world and the universe as expressed in the Quran. We are fully convinced that there has been no other book in the entire history of mankind that has given such a detailed account of the beginning and end of the world. Delve into all the books in history preceding scientific data and you will see that there is none like the Quran. It was said that the Quran would pro

THE LOWEST SPOT OF THE EARTH
2007-09-05 15:06:00
3- In the lowest part of the earth...30-The Romans, 3Verse 3 of the sura The Romans speaks of the defeat of the Romans at the lowest part of the earth. The Arabic expression “edna al ard” (the lowest part of the earth) has been translated by some commentators as “land close by.” We think that this rendering does not express the essential meaning of the verse, that such a rendering may be taken as a secondary meaning. The translators were at a loss to understand the exact meaning of “edna al ard” and thought it best to give it the secondary meaning. We hope that after our remarks they will revise their work. The region where the Byzantines suffered defeat was the Dead Sea, a place that is approximately 400 meters below the sea level, viz. the lowest spot of the earth, the highest being the Himalayas. A miracle of the Quran was its prediction of the war that was to be won by the Romans, a fact that at the time could hardly have been expected; another miracle was its foreknowle

VICTORIOUS ROMANS AND THE LOWEST SPOT ON THE EARTH
2007-09-05 15:05:00
2- The Romans have been defeated.3- In the lowest part of the earth. But after defeat they will soon be victorious.4- Between three or nine years. God’s is the imperative first and last. On that day the believers will rejoice.30-The Romans, 2-4At the time of the descent of the Quran, the Romans were practicing Christianity while the Persians were Zoroastrians. The Muslim population was grieved to hear that it was the Persians who had won the war against the Romans since Christians were monotheists. The victory of the Zoroastrians against the believers baffled the Muslims. The Quran predicted that the Romans (Byzantium) would soon become victorious and that the believers would rejoice. The expression “beda seneen” in verse 4 refers to the numbers ranging from three to nine. The number of followers of Muhammad continued to increase. Had this statement of the Quran proved to be wrong, the confidence of the followers in Muhammad would have been shaken and the number of apostates woul

SIGNS IN THE NEW TESTAMENT
2007-09-05 15:04:00
15- O people of the Book! Our messenger has come to you to proclaim for you many things you have concealed in the Book, while passing over much. A light and a perspicacious Book has come to you.5-The Feast, 15The Quran claims that the Jews and Christians have used every endeavor to hide or suppress many data. Some of these are related to the tidings of the arrival of Muhammad. In this section of our book we shall dwell on passages that have likely been suppressed. The three monotheistic religions have addressed mankind, bringing almost the same message, with a few reservations that are particularly related to rituals. That God is one and man should adore only one God, the Omnipotent and Omniscient, are common to all the three religions. The Day of Judgment is another common feature. Protection of human life and of the right of possession, sharing one’s riches with the poor, seeking peace and justice, praise of God on every occasion, giving thanks to God and praying are some other poi

SIGNS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
2007-09-05 15:03:00
146- The people of the Book know this as they know their own sons; but some of them conceal the truth, knowingly.2-The Cow, 146In this chapter, we shall be studying the implications in the Old Testament made to the Prophet, to the region where he lived and to the message he brought. The greater part of our book has so far treated such subject matters as physics, chemistry, geology and biology. Also we have tackled, in a separate category, philosophical speculations, and in another separate category archaeological issues. Now we shall be dealing with those parts of the Old and New Testaments that are of special relevance for our present study. Questions that have found answers in the natural sciences, based on observation, were followed by ratiocination in the chapters on philosophy and were followed by historical data calling for detailed analyses in the chapters on archaeology. Now we are to tackle the veracity of information contained in the Bible. According to the Quran, Jews falsif

ANCIENT EGYPT AND THE PHARAOH’S BODY
2007-09-05 15:02:00
104- Moses said: “O Pharaoh (Firawun)! I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds”7-The Purgatory, 10472- They said: “We lost the cup of the king (malik) ...”12-Joseph, 72Studies conducted on data acquired about Pharaoh thanks to the deciphered hieroglyph script and Egyptological explorations corroborate that what is said about the parables of Moses, and the accounts related to Egypt and the Pharaoh in the Quran, are exact when compared with tangible historical data. The Quran referred to the Egyptian ruler at the time of Joseph as “malik” (ruler, king) but for the ruler coeval with Moses the Quran uses the word “Firawun” (Pharaoh). Pharaoh was the Hebrew form of the Egyptian “Per-ao” (the great house) signifying the royal palace, an epithet applied in the new kingdom and after as a title of respect, to the king himself. Never before had it been used in this sense. To quote the Encyclopedia Britannica: Pharaoh was referred to innarrative as “his majesty” or

27 - Mercy, Merciful and Gracious
2007-11-13 04:47:00
We saw that the word in the form of “mercy” (rahmet) derived from the stem of “RHM” is used in 13 verses together with word “guide” (hüda) in the previous chapter and that they are mentioned 79 times each. All the derivatives of “mercy” (rahmet) are mentioned 114 times (Rahmet 79 times, rahmetike 3 times, rahmetina 5 times, rahmetini 25 times, rahmeti 2 times) The name; “rahim” of God also comes from the same stem, RHM, and is used exactly half the times these words are mentioned, viz. 57 times. The mathematical miraculous use of these words performs more detailed miracles on the miracle of 19 in the Quran (They are investigated in details way in chapters on 19.) 1- It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 1. The Prologue, 1 The word Number of occurrence

26 - Mercy and Guidance
2007-11-13 04:46:00
In the Quran, the words “mercy” (rahmet) and “guide” (hüda) are used together in 13 verses. Actually only this is enough to show the relation between these words. God’s guidance of mankind is the biggest mercy for them. These two words are used in the Quran 79 times each in the same format. The words “Rahman (Gracious), “Rahim” (Merciful) and other derivatives which come from the same stem of the word “rahmet”, are all used in a way that they all form a mathematical miracle. We shall examine the in the next chapter and in the section 19. Below is an example of a verse where the words “mercy” and “guide” are used together. 77- It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 27. The Ant, 77 The word Number of occurrence Mercy 7

25 - Say and They Said
2007-11-13 04:46:00
Many sentences in the Quran are in the form of reported speech using the formula “they said” (Qalu) and yet many orders are expressed by another formula “say” (Qul). These two words which have very clear relationships are used many times in the Quran; 332 times each. The total number of the use of these two words is 664. This number is so big that it is even bigger than the words used in the last 15 suras of the Quran. Mathematical miracle of the Quran has surrounded it in a unique way. The Quran itself is a total miracle, such a miracle that it is easy to understand and impossible to imitate. The word Number of occurrence Say 332 They said 332

24 - Language and Advice
2007-11-13 04:43:00
In order to have someone do something, people use different methods like rewarding, punishment or advising. In rewarding, there is something pleasant and in punishment there is something unpleasant. In the process of advising language is used as a tool. The difference between advice and rewarding and punishment is; advising is done only by using the language as a tool where as many other tools can be used for the other two methods. These two connected words, “language” (lisan) and “advice” (mevize) are used in equal numbers, 25 times each. Two examples are given below from the Quran; 22- Among His signs are the creation of the heavens and earth, and the variations in your languages and your colors. Surely there are signs in these for those who understand. 30. The Romans, 22 63

23 - Sorcery and Temptation
2007-11-13 04:43:00
From the Quran, we learn that sorcery is a temptation. It is in the same verse that these two words are used for the first time. (The Cow, 102) In this verse, the relationship between these words is clear. These words and their derivatives are used 60 times each. The verse in which they are used for the first time as follows: 102- …Solomon, however was not a disbeliever, while the devils were disbelievers. Thus, they taught the people sorcery that was sent down through the two angels of Babel, Harut and Marut, who however never taught it without saying: ”We are only a temptation. Be not then a disbeliever”… 2. The Cow, 102 The word Number of occurrence Sorcery 60 Temptation

22 - Satan and Seek Refuge
2007-11-13 04:43:00
In the Quran, we are told that Satan is the enemy of mankind. Muslims should seek refuge in God in order to be protected from the evil of Satan. The relationship between these two words is crystal clear for the people who know the Quran. These two words are used in equal numbers i.e., 11 times each. Examples are given below; 50- …they fell prostrate, except Satan. He was one of the jinns and rebelled against His Lord’s command… 18. The Cave, 5 1- Say “I seek refuge in the Lord of the Prophet.” 114. People, 1 The word Number of occurrence Satan 11 Seek refuge

21 - Openly and Publicly
2007-11-13 04:42:00
The words “openly” and “publicly”, have close meanings. The successive use of these words, in the sura Noah, 8th and 9th verses, points to the relation of these words. These two related words are used 16 times each in the Quran. The verses these words are used in succession are given below: 8- Then I called them openly. 9- Then I invited them publicly and in private. 71. Noah, 8, 9 The word Number of occurrence Openly 16 Publicy 16

20 - Dirtiness and Nastiness
2007-11-13 04:42:00
In the Quran, the words dirtiness (rics) and nastiness (ricz) have almost similar pronunciation and spelling: the word “rics” refers to dirtiness brought by human hand and the word “ricz” refers to nastiness caused by the dirtiness generated by human hand. These two words are used 10 times in order to show the relation between them. The two verses given below are examples of these words used in the Quran: 33- …God desires to remove all dirtiness from you… 33. The Parties, 33 5- For sake from nastiness. 74. The Hidden Secret, 5 The word Number of occurrence Dirtiness 10 Nastiness 10

19 - Sexual crime, Transgression and Wrath
2007-11-13 04:41:00
19 - Sexual crime , Transgression and Wrath The word “sexual crime” (fahsha) and its derivatives are used 24 times in the Quran. The word “transgression” (baghy) and its derivatives are used 24 times also. Since these behaviors deserve wrath, the word “wrath” also is used 24 times in the Quran. The relationship between the words “sexual crime” (fahsha) and “transgression” is seen clearly in the verse below: 90- …and forbidden sexual crime, impropriety and transgression… 16. The Honey-Bees 90 An example for the wrath is below: 7- The path of those whom you blessed, not of those who have deserved the wrath, nor the strayers. 1. The Prologue, 7 The word

18 - Benefit and Corruption
2007-11-13 04:40:00
The word “benefit” (en nef) is used 50 times in the Quran with all its derivatives. The same is true for the word “corrupt” (fesad), that is, it and its derivatives are used 50 times as well. Corruption (fesad) is a social evil and condemned by the Quran. A person can not benefit (en nef) from corruption (fesad). The result of corruption is the opposite of benefit. The use of these two words with negative meanings being in equal number can not be a coincidence. This may be witnessed in the following verses: 55- And remind, for the reminder benefits the believers 51. The Dispersing, 55 26- Who corrupt the land and do not reform it. 26. The Poets, 152 The word Number of occurrence
