UFO Mobile
2008-03-19 11:43:00
I envy the people who can digitally transform one ordinary UFO ship into a sleek and elegant mobile: reminds me of the girl who was transformed into a queen.. whats here name... o yes, Cinderella.Watch the modern fairy god-mothers at work:This one is way old now, but it somehow fitted appropriately in this entry. How a banger like Citroen was changed into a dancing robot! Now why would I want a car, that likes to dance... what were they thinking!!!

Always Maxi pads
2008-03-18 08:49:00
This is a letter from an Austin woman sent to American company Proctor and Gamble regarding their feminine products. She really gets rolling after the first paragraph.FYI, PC Magazine’s 2007 editors’ choice for best web mail-award-winning letter. Dear Mr. Thatcher, I have been a loyal user of your ‘Always’ maxi pads for over 20 years and I appreciate many of their features. Why, without the Leak Guard Core or Dry-Weave absorbency, I’d probably never go horseback riding or salsa dancing, and I’d certainly steer clear of running up and down the beach in tight, white shorts. But my favourite feature has to be your revolutionary Flexi-Wings. Kudos on being the only company smart enough to realize how crucial it is that maxi pads be aerodynamic. I can’t tell you how safe and

My resignation as an adult
2008-03-17 11:57:00
I am hereby officially tendering my resignation as an adult. I have decided I would like to accept the responsibilities of a 5 year old again. * I want to go to McDonald's and think that it is a four star restaurant. * I want to sail sticks across a fresh mud puddle and make ripples in a pond with rocks. * I want to think M&M's are better than money because you can eat them. * I want to lie under a big oak tree and watch the ants march up its trunk. * I want to run a lemonade stand with my friends on a hot summer's day. * I want to go fishing and care more about catching the minnows along the shore than the big bass in the lake. * I want to think the world is fair. * I want to return to a time when life was simple. When all I knew about were colours, multiplication tabl

2008-03-12 22:03:00
My dearest No-longer Girlfriend,It's 03:01 am out here and while you must in sweet slumber dreaming of your happy future with your new partner I must have read and re-read all the emails that we have exchanged over the past two years.. some nice, long and romantic and some pretty much boring one-liners!But as I looked back upon those moments and ponder on each word that you had written, on each alphabet - I remember the moments when you and I shared in a spirit of love. The bond of affection far beyond the realms of definitions which was there - alas no longer exists. I stare at all your pictures that slide before me and listen to all the tracks that you have dedicated to me... but all that remains is me all alone. Call it what you may, but this is the irony of life.Today incidently als

Girls wanna have fun, so do guys...

There are times when I want to make a complete arse of myself. And there are times when I just want to watch others make a complete arse of themselves. If you are in the mood for the latter, keep watching... So, what are they good for? Absolutely nothing. Then there are times when you just chilling on the beach and peeping at the this absolutely gorgeous chick in bikini like Ursula Andress in Dr. No:...but in reality this is what is happening:... don't fret, just tuck in, guys...I think when you're completed wasted on beer is when you make the best arse of yourself - like those drunk chicks whom we all love to see:or this one where you play a silly prank on the poor drunk soul...And I really have no idea what these two girls are trying to do:some cheerleaders eh?Anyhoo, as I was s

2008-02-28 10:09:00
An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale hit Blackburn in the early hours of Wednesday. Victims were seen wandering around aimlessly, muttering "Fooockinell". The tremor decimated the area causing approximately £30 worth of damage. Several priceless collections of mementos from Majorca and the Costa del Sol were damaged beyond repair. Three areas of historic burnt out cars were disturbed. Many locals were woken well before their giros arrived.Rock FM 974 reported that hundreds of residents were confused and bewildered and were still trying to come to terms with the fact that something interesting had happened in Blackburn. One resident - Tracy Sharon Smith, a 15-year-old mother of 5 said, "It was such a shock, my little Chardonnay-Mercedes come running into my bedroom crying. My y

Recollections
2008-02-22 07:53:00
I am of the nature to grow old; I cannot avoid ageing. I am of the nature to become ill; I cannot avoid illness. I am of the nature to die; I cannot avoid death. All that is mine, dear and delightful, will change and vanish. I am the owner of my karma; I am born of my karma; I live supported by my karma; I will inherit my karma; whatever I do, whether good or evil, that I will inherit. Sources: 1 |

No sex tonight
2008-02-20 08:30:00
I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart.FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed.Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says “I don’t feel like it, I just want you to hold me.”I said “WHAT??!! What was that?!”So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear… “You’re just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man.” She responded to my puzzled look by saying, “Can’t you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?”Realizing that not

Tahiyat lakum, baladi al-habibi. Greetings to you, my beloved. And the rest of ya all mere beings in this universe enjoying my misery. I have finally landed in the jungle of buildings - a completely different world when I last left it 14 years ago! Mind you people change and this is the city of change - so who am I to grumble for missing the desolated desert that I had left behind?I am always amazed by the fact that just when I think what could be worse than this, life would somehow manage to throw a curve ball and take me to strike three - and suddenly you're out sitting on the bench with that glum look on your face! One of my primary reasons to leave the freezing warmth of UK was to dump the burden of some, correction - all of the memories of you that have been engraved in my grey matte

The Waiting Room
2008-01-28 08:04:00
Lonliness and the sheer boredom of sitting in the hospital waiting room can put strange thoughts in your head. You can only so much flip into the decade old magazines on the coffee table before committing each and every page to memory. One only need to look out the room to see his or her miserable future walking with bottles of liquids whose names you cannot pronounce, tubes danglining down your bottoms wearing a bio-degradable gown slit from behind. And don't even let me get to the black hairy asses on display for others. There were few white asses too... but that is not what I wanted to write about. At least now.Such is the human cycle of life that you start with the hospital room (atleast the decent few of us) and you end up in the hospital room. So, I guess the crux of your whole

Heartaches
2008-01-25 20:55:00
I always wondered what was down the whirlpool. How can events so small create forces so strong that it can suck even the most mighty in its belly? What lies beneath the blue ocean? Is there any peace there? For I am a tormented soul restless in search of tranquility.Days seem a drag nowdays. Nights are sleepless nightmares. Each new face that I come across is a mirror of my deeds. Their eyes filled with hatred for me. Their hearts empty with love for me. Never have I felt so alone in a crowd filled with family and friends. Never have I sat alone in the hospital waiting room anxious for someone to come and tell me its all over.I was a born loner as far as I can remember. I was never the soul of the party nor the subject of any hot gossips. I preferred to live my life as the aver

Choices...
2008-01-23 07:54:00
I can wait for her phone call or I can get my work done…I can sit and drool over her memories or I can take that long overdue shower…I can ogle all day over her photos on Orkut or get out for some fresh air...I can gorge on all the junk food lying around depressed or I can go to gym and get those calories off…I can wish that we would be together again or I can just face the reality of it never happening and get on with my life…Choices, choices, choices...Mean while in the parallel universe…Do I curl my hair or straighten them?Do I go to Starbucks or that new place which serves the Chocolate ice cream?Do I wear the green sari or go for the western look?Do I take the car or ask the driver to drop me?Choices, choices, choices...

Friends Indeed
2008-01-21 08:59:00
Times have been hard and trying for me lately, because of the ripple effect that my breakup has caused. However, I thought I would have my friends to rely on... after all the true testing time for friendship comes when your buddy is down in drain...Apparently, my friends seem to have forgotten the sacred rules of friendship.Mind you after my recent experience I should have realised that people change in seconds once you have nothing to offer them. Can't blame them. For someone who would feel like fish without water if I did not call... suddenly got no time! I guess those tanks were finally built where fishes can live out of water... So *uck (with the Capital F) you too! Then there are those miserable sods who for the sake of not being rude gives you an occasional miss call or drop in from t

Better than sex
2008-04-29 05:43:00
I have known it for a while, but have purposefully refused to acknowledge it - the worst part of my depression is knowing the fact that she's moved on and I - no matter what I do- just cannot! I am at a standstill sitting on the edge of the Niagara Falls. I just wish somebody would simply push me...Most of you probably are reading this post because of the title and not because you are simply concerned of my welfare. So for those of you, behold: it is best that you learn the truth now - there is nothing better than sex, except probably:Licking the bowl after you've made that yummy chocolate cakeFinally getting your turn to pee after holding it for an hour during the football half-timeNuzzling the ear-bud in your ears after a long hot shower. Most of you will still find sex better. Well,

Can't call.. Miss ya
2008-04-30 10:27:00
I knew that April was going to be an agonising month and sure hell it was.Middle of the month was an absolute terror with she finally saying her good-byes and all - actually it was a very pathetic goodbye, come to think of it. There were no grand gestures and tears and all and her last words still echo within my ears, "My hands are itching, I'll call you later." I waited and waited and waited some more. But the call never came and as they say tomorrow was too late.So I thought that was it. Kapish. End of Love Story 2008. I knew people come and go, and it would get easier as time goes by and bla bla bla...But little did I know Each subsequent day would pass in agony, especially when your imagination gets a free pass into thinking all sorts of things...Then suddenly I get an email from

All that twitters is not gold
2008-05-03 06:06:00
I think the best feeling anyone can expect is knowing somewhere someone is thinking of you. The sense of belonging to someone can be euphoric, I guess.I was always under the apprehension that I was a loner and probably one of the few people who could survive being an island. I was happy being on my own, making my own decisions and not worry if my snoring would bother anyone. It was fun being cold and alone like the cold Artic or the lonely Australia, minding my own business. My feelings did not falter until I met her. Funny how we met as well. Of the weirdest of all places - a topic which I am sure would make a nice story over a cuppa. There were times, ofcourse that I would wish I never did. We would at times argue about the most silliest of things and frown like little kids. But the

Naming the Cyclones
2008-05-07 03:41:00
I was just wondering why some kids have funny names. One theory I can think behind this logic is that may be, just maybe - the parents knew that child would bring them grief so this was a way to get back at him.I can only imagine the father / mother going on with a smirk on their face - they were able to pre-determine that baby's name and be the source of all the ridicules during the baby's school years and perhaps if they are lucky even after! No matter what the kid does to bring hell to them - they know the name that they have given him will torment him even more.... ;-)Have you ever had the opportunity of naming someone? Just imagine the possibility of having that immense power of what that poor innocent soul will be called for ever...Speaking of names, I just found out that the fir
