Vista OS. It seems many people just can't get over Windows XP. Though i must admit, Vista interface looks cool, but they're just rippers off Linux implementations lah. Linux had it first, and now they're incorporating that dynamism into their Vista, only SLOWER.

Projects are such a bitch! 2007-10-25 07:09:05 All the five modules I'm taking has projects, and their weightage are so blardy significant. In addition, I have ASM programming lab (which takes 4 weeks to complete) and there's Geography lab also. Knn, so packed.
Seriously, I'd rather have loads of tutorials than projects man. With tutorials, you can get solutions for them. But you can't possibly get solutions for projects, can you?!
And what do you do in Geography labs? Play with earthworms? Examine soil composition? No lor. What we do is tabulate data via MS Excel, and then explain the trends. Yeah, boring stuff I tell you. I find Human Geography much more interesting.
And next week's Geog's lab gonna have something to do with maps. Wah liew, what for contours and pressures and all these. Even streetdirectory.com doesn't include them. It's Singapore!

SBS 96 driver daydreaming. 2007-10-29 11:22:41 I was going home from school with my buddy Deen, we took bus 96 to Clementi Interchange. At this particular junction when the bus' supposed to filter left, he went straight instead!
Good thing it was a red light. When passangers signalled to the driver, he was quite kancheong. But yes, luck was on his side because there were no cars behind!
He pulled off a quick reverse, and then filtered left. Though he broke a traffic rule (or maybe a few), but he saved the convenience of all the passangers on board.
It's okay, a driver's human after all and we make mistakes. So are policemen and civil servants. So next time if you see a policeman sleeping in the car, DON'T snap a picture and post on STOMP lar ccb! But now I am so pissed. I checked the earnings for one of the ads that ran for one week. It amounted to SGD$1.40. What $1.40?!?! FOR ONE WEEK? YES one point four zero dollars. Outrageous.

Back in 1994, I was staying in Faber Hills Condo at West Coast Park. Whoa that place alot of Japanese families. Actually the whole of West Coast is infested with Japanese families, because there's the Jap Senior High there, another one (I can't rmbr which one) and another junior school just opposite NUS.
Back to the topic, that whole estate was termite infested! Alot of residents were complaining of termite infestations in their homes too, their wooden furnitures gnawed away bit by bit. Moreover, there were these winged termites that very often tried to fly into the study room (at night) but ended up knocking into the window glass panel! Hahaha serves them right.
Well, we only stayed there for a year for other reasons as well, like my mum felt super lonely there (alone at home while husband at work and children in school), and partly also due to the poor management there (facilities are terrible, I tell you!). Good thing we left early Read more:Trouble
EE3001 Presentation 2007-11-19 00:59:27 Oh my gawd, what a morning! Reached school at 8am for a presentation at 930am. Yeah my group decided to come in early to have one last rehearsal before the real thing. The rehearsal went well, and we were fairly confident that we'd do a good job.
At the start of the presentation, I made it clear to hold back questions until the end of the presentation. We had planned our time perfectly, so that we could have 7-8 minutes of Q&A rather than the recommended 5 minutes. However, this particular professor just HAD to interrupt our last speaker, and that stunned us. Okay so maybe it was part of a plan to just startle us and see how we recover. But hello, it's rude to do so when we've already specified "No Interruptions PLEASE". Want to kancheong us, later part lah. Worse thing is, when we resumed, we could see the change in attitude.
