One burden down… 2007-09-27 10:07:31 Firdaus and I are excited, because we've finally managed to get our EE2007 mini lab project 2 completed! Wheee, @#*^!*#^ lab. Now the next one is a major lab project, and from the rumours I heard, we're supposed to make a client-server based game. Mmm something like Battleship, or Chess. And excuse me, in assembly language, not C/C++.
Oh man, this means more blood, sweat and tears?!
By the way, I've watched Heroes Season 2 premiere episode!! DAMN man, Maya's hawt! :D :D
A Click Five Cover Song - Empty 2007-09-26 09:54:50 Bored and stressed la…Damn EE2007 Project wasted me and Fir's whole day. So when I came home, I had to let loose with a few songs. Here is one of them I managed to record. Sorry hor, if it sounds very awful, just dump it. And I screwed the bridge part by accidentally playing the wrong note, and I don't want to go through the whole song again, so heck it…

Fugly Ah-lian intentionally coughs at me, mouth full of food. 2007-09-25 07:29:05 My friend and I reached this PARTICULAR university in Singapore, and we were looking for study benches. Unfortunately, all was occupied, so we decided to camp at some seat a distance away while keeping a lookout.
We took out our project notes, and started discussing on blah blah blah blah…Boy we got lucky! This fugly ah-lian, who was initially occupying the bench eating her meal, stood up and walked away. So we thought "Hey, she has finished eating, let's go grab that seat then."
Well, I walked towards the bench, put my bag down, and i Saw that fugly ah-lian actually shifting to the opposite table. (I realised she hasn't finished her food. Then why the hell did she move?!) Well, she left her food cover (she ta pao her food arh) on "our" table, so I thought she came back to claim it.
Instead, she came to me, and purposely coughed at me, literally in the face! (But kena my left side of body) Whoa this girl seriously has problems man, crazy or PM Read more:mouth
How to reduce likelihood of colon cancer 2007-10-03 02:09:17 My dad's friend was diagnosed with colon cancer, and had his operation recently, which removed 80% of his large intestines. So basically he has very irregular bowels now. He also needs to go for regular chemotherapy sessions. Poor lad. He's one of the nicest guys around.
It is weird, because majority of colon cancer patients are Chinese, or to be specific, anyone who doesn't like to consume chilli. Chilli is known to have anti-colon cancer properties, that's why you seldom hear of a Malay patient diagnosed with colon cancer. Malays on the other hand, have problems with high blood pressure and heart problems i.e. due to eating and cooking habits perhaps.
We should really start mixing healthy dishes together. A "mosaic" dish would certainly boost the Singaporean life expectancy.

Fancy an iPod nano? 2007-10-02 05:18:56 I found this great shopping site, it's called shopping.com. It's similar to Yahoo shopping, but with a much more defined user experience.
One of the useful things is that you not only see user-input reviews from the consumers, but also expert reviews from famous and reputable sites like cnet.com, metally.net and pcmag.com. Basically, you don't need to open a separate tab/window in your web browser and key in search terms of the product you're interested in. It is already available in front of you with a single click.
It also allows you to place shopping items side by side, so you can do a comparison for e.g. on technical specifications between two similar electronic products. I don't know if Yahoo shopping has this feature, but maybe the reason why I can't find it is because it's not user friendly!
Being the geeky me, I dived into the MP3 player section and searched for iPod

Honda Stream 2007 Fuel Consumption - Part II 2007-10-01 03:20:20 Just an update.
I find it weird because when I topped up Caltex 95 full tank, the mileage actually decreased i.e.fuel consumption worsened to about 10.5-11.0km/l. I topped up Caltex 95 full tank for another 2 times just to make sure, and I confirm that mileage has deproved regardless of me and my mum's light-footed driving style!
So I've now switched to Caltex 98, and the consumption's looking good. It's currently at 11.5km/l, and the fuel gauge isn't at the half mark yet. My guess is i'll hit at least 12.0km/l when the tank gets empty.
Conclusion: The engine favours 98 and above.

Milestone Birthdays 2007-09-30 08:08:35 Ever been to a birthday party before? A friend's, probably? How did you find it? I'm sure most of us has had a birthday party before (Those who didn't, my apologies).
When I was younger, the part I enjoyed the most was when the cake's being brought out, and everyone starts singing and clapping along to the birthday song. Great memories man…Okay actually I lied. Heheh..I actually like the tearing up of presents part! So if anyone wants to give me a birthday present, please wrap it up okay? I like tearing things up!
Speaking of birthdays, I went to my friend's birthday party 2 days back at her house (Yes her house veli big). It was her 21st birthday, so yeah…the very significant number 21, or some people might call the true, legal age (when you're no more bounded by RA21 ratings). For the record, 18 isn't a milestone age! Being 18 does make you legal, but it's kinda grey there (so maybe you're legal to pursue a driving license, Read more:Birthdays
Have you gotten yours yet? 2007-09-29 08:52:51 The Hari Raya festive season is round the corner, and other than fasting, I am sure other Muslims have been busy making tarts, cakes and cookies or shopping for groceries OR….tailoring their 'baju kurungs' !
I've gotten my pair. Yes pair, but it's not cos I'm greedy. I've always only had one pair, but I thought this time it's better that if my mum and sisters wear a different colour, that I should blend in as well. It's bout celebrating the occasion as a family right?
I took this picture with my camera phone, so excuse me for the lousy quality:
This year, my dad wanted a slightly westernized theme…so he wanted a double cuff design at the wrists. He will only be with us for the first two days of Hari Raya (as usual, work commitments) so I guess the family will go gold for this period. When he's gone back, we'll all be donning our pink colourway. Yeah baby, pink. I feel even geekier in pink.

Popeye demonstrates the power of spinach again! 2007-10-15 03:35:47 Be amazed people!
YouTube Direktvideo link
When your mummy tells you to finish up your veges, you better do. (So you can beat up school bullies) Talking bout this, this is the reason why Popeye was created and aired on television. These angmoh kids, or let's say all the ginnas round the world, all of them hate eating green vegetables. Therefore, Popeye was created and marketed to project the image that if you eat green veges like Popeye, you will become strong!
But I guess it was a poor marketing ploy, because children still preferred candy over veges!

Nuffnang Treat 2007-10-13 11:35:36 I've received two mails from Nuffnang, saying that I've been booked for ad placement in my site for a period of two weeks. Weehoooo! Like finally man, thank god they're finally putting up ads.
Apart from that, I just came back from Hari Raya visitings. So much for Day 1. I'm totally exhausted man, but the green packets made me happy Tomorrow, everyone's gonna don our pink costumes. Triple yay.
My sisters and I have taken lots of pictures, I plan to post-process it before sending it for printing at the shops. It's been worthwhile so far, taking pictures for my aunts and uncles. I feel very much contented when they trust me to take a good picture, and they know that I'll produce a good picture for their keepsake.
It's the least I could do.
Selamat Hari Raya 2007-10-12 10:17:04 Hey peeps, it's 23:08 now and I'm blardy tired. I ironed my family's hari raya clothings out of my own free will, including my nephew's one! I dunno lah, it's not that I'm enthu or what, but I just felt like doing it…I think I've short circuited a wire somewhere up there.
Tomorrow's the big day for Muslims in Singapore, so I'd like to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya Idulfitri! For the guys, don't forget to go for the Idulfitri morning prayers ah! Don't chabot! As for the ladies, kindly make yourself more prominent if you happen to see me somewhere!
Enjoy your celebrations and don't eat too much!!!
Sony introduces the world’s first OLED TV 2007-10-11 11:48:41
Actually I don't even know what OLED stands for or what it is! But here's a preview of what it looks like:
OLED has some unique advantages over existing CRT, TFT and plasma display technology:
The first advantage of OLED has to do with its relatively simple manufacturing process. Thus, a cheap way of creating large screens based on OLED technology.
A completely new range of potential uses including screens woven into fabrics, OLED based watches and portable media players as well as electronic papers.
OLEDs has better colors, better viewing angle (almost 180 degrees), they do not require backlight since the organic material produces its own light hence they require far less energy to operate (good for portable devices) and has better black colors (a problem with current LCD technology).
Sleek eh? Anyone wanna sponsor me one for testing and debugging? lol! For additional information, go here.

Feeling heaty? Try Chrysanthemum! 2007-10-10 11:00:01 Ever since the start of the Ramadhan fasting month, my body has been getting heaty and I've been developing ulcers in my mouth. Ouch! It can't be helped, no matter how much water I drink to cool down my body. Plus, I can only drink so much, man.
I remember someone telling me to consume 'Chrysanthemum Tea'. Supposedly, it cools down your body temperature. Oh well, no harm trying. My mum bought those '"instant" kinds, in packets, and all one has to do is pour in water. So yeah, I made a cup with cold water, and dumped in a few ice cubes along with it.
*SIPS* AAaaahhhh, shooo nicee…mmmm…I had a cup each day for the next few days and I'm glad that my ulcers are healing! One of them has healed, and the other's in the process. Miracle tea? Nahh.
Chrysanthemum tea is prescribed in Chinese medicine for influenza, and it has a cooling effect on the body, so it is used for treating heatstroke. It also detoxifies the blood; helps with sin Read more:Feeling

Yes we do need clothes, but please don't get me those dumb tee shirts everytime. I have some, I don't need alot.
Please don't give me plushies or teddy bears. They're not useful. I don't want my friends to think i'm a sissy.
Stay away from 'Happy Anniversary' cups/mugs or those sorts. What's the point?
NOT flowers! Where am I gonna keep it? I don't have space for it anyway.
No cards, they're cheap. Hey, we want to be pampered too. Want to be thoughtful? Get us something of more value.
So what DO you get for guys? Still thinking about gifts for him? Well here're some ideas:
An Xbox 360 or Sony PS3.

So I browsed their website under the 'For Him' section, and I was impressed by the simple, elegant de

Lazy Saturday 2007-10-06 08:42:17 I woke up late this morning…Wah shiok man, it's been some time since I alst pampered myself with a good sleep. There was a Geography field trip to the Central Catchment Area, that's Macritchie Reservoir, but sadly I couldn't make it. I was tied down with sleep!
My buddy, firdooze, was so enthu about the event and "tried" turning up for the event. Well, he arrived at the meeting point late! The group had already left, and he tried catching up with them but instead traversed the wrong way…a longer route. Hahhaha you're funny man firdooze. Well, he tried hard to zoom past the long, arduous road through the tree-top canopy walk, but got tired soon enough….Poor lad, fasting somemore leh.
So he decided to take a stroll instead. I bet he was lonely with his canon 350d and sigma 24-70…Eh bro, why you never tell me earlier…My cousins live there leh, I could've called them to help you find the shortest possible route to go cat Read more:Saturday
Portable DVD player 2007-10-05 08:02:23 Digitalframez.com is an online electronic store, and currently, they have two main products to offer (more to come soon). One is the 'Digital Photo Frame' while the other is the "Portable
DVD Player".
What caught my eye was the portable 10 inch DVD player
. I immediately checked out its price. Hmmm about AUD$270, which sounds fair to me for a portable dvd system. But I needed to know what functions it had to offer.
First all, the system has a big screen measuring 10 inches, which equates to about 26.4cm. That's like 3/4 the length of my 17inch LCD monitor! This means you can watch your favourite movies with ease and clarity, say in the back seat of your car.
The machine offers superior video quality, and also delivers a built-in surround sound effect stereo speakers, coupled with Dolby Digital decoding. It also comes with an anti shock system just in case you happen to drop it in your car
You will not be disappointed because this portable dvd system supports m
Fixing ‘Missing boot.exe’ of your thumbdrive 2007-10-04 20:28:21 Ever since using my thumbdrive in the school lab, particularly the Digital Electronics lab, I have this problem of being unable to double click my thumdrive from 'My Computer'. It always prompts "Can't find boot.exe". Therefore, I'd have to right click and 'Explore' instead to browse my thumbdrive directory.
This happened because the antivirus software on that computer detected the boot.exe as a malicious software, and therefore quarantined and removed it. My geeky buddy, firdooze, has found the solution! Below is his entry:
Lately, my USB thumbdrive was infected with a trojan virus, Boot.exe. Most probably, the virus was written onto my thumbdrive from one public computers that I usually frequent. I was notified by the existence of the virus when my anti-virus started complaining that it found a Trojan in my thumbdrive. Since the virus is a high level threat, the anti-virus did a viral quarantine and deletion. That was when the real ord Read more:Missing
Blog earnings thus far 2007-10-18 11:24:28 I'm a noob to the blogging scene. I have been blogging for quite some time in blogspot, but that place was only known to my friends. Well that place was for me to put up pictures and basically talk cock. Random everyday rants, or just a place for me to let loose. Even with all that, I had no attachment whatsoever to the blog.
Then two months ago, I decided to get my own domain and hosting service, and was convinced with the capabilities of the Wordpress platform. So I set up khazampc.com and started my blogging journey. Starting out was painstaking, I had to deal with lots of Wordpress troubles, hosting troubles and coding problems. Stuffs I was new to, stuffs I had no idea about! But Google had always been there for me. Thank you Google
Two months later, I can now say that earning money online is no scam. Blogging for money, is in fact, very possible for anyone. Payperposts, text links, advertisements. There are many ways to earn money. I have decided to show you my earnings t
Loans and borrowing money 2007-10-18 04:27:56 No matter how much we think we can do without loans, we're wrong (Well, unless you're from a rich family). Everything needs loans, from the HDB apartment that you're buying to that next Ford convertible you're eyeing on.
I only know of two types of loans, one is secured loans and the other, personal loans. Yes they do sound similar, but the concepts are slightly different.
Secured loans are those which uses your assets as a security, kinda like a guarantee. I think it's called mortgaging. This method allows you to raise a large amount of money even if you have a poor credit history. Thus, it is easier to obtain such a loan as the interest rates are lower too.
Personal loans on the other hand, are those normal (unsecured) loans that you probably have heard of every other time. They are obtained for various reasons like paying for a holiday, clearing debts, purchasing a new vehicle, or even funding a wedding ceremony. However, to be successful in the application Read more:Loans
RIAA Eyes Next Possible Targets: CD Burners, Radio Listeners 2007-10-17 11:17:35 I really couldn't believe it when I saw the headlines. Like WTF man, this is totally ridiculous lah. KNNBCCB, what's wrong with this RIAA? Are they dumb, or dumb?
The RIAA might have given a clue during testimony by music industry lawyers in the Thomas case. During the case Jennifer Pariser, the head of litigation for Sony BMG, was called to testify. Pariser noted that music labels make no money on bands touring, radio, or merchandise, so they are particularly vulnerable to file sharing. She went on to say that when people steal music the label is harmed.
Pariser believes in a very broad definition of stealing that is echoed by many supporters in the RIAA. She believes that users who buy songs are entitled to one, and only one copy. Burning CDs is just another name for stealing, in her mind. "When an individual makes a copy of a song for himself, I suppose we can say he stole a song." Making "a copy" of a purchased so Read more:Possible

Agloco - Is it a scam? Read this first! 2007-10-16 11:43:39 Agloco, in simple terms, is a program that allows users to earn cash through the internet. Users will have to sign up for membership (IT'S FREE and no need for credit card info) at the webpage.
How does it work?
Users will have to download the Agloco Viewbar and install it. The program will run as a separate toolbar in your desktop, and will appear at the bottom.
Whenever this software is launched, it'll record the amount of time you've spent online. More time spent online = Increased cash conversion = More money. So, your cashflow is dependent on your internet activity, with the Agloco Viewbar launched, of course.
Is this a scam?
Why would it be a scam, since no credit card numbers are involved? Firstly, it's FREE and eosn't require any purchase. Secondly, the concept of advertising is similar in Agloco, so of course they can pay you. Advertisers pay them to display ads through their Viewbar, so the longer you stay online, the more their ads are shown, a

Definition of PMS and why it is DANGEROUS. 2007-10-24 03:26:29 Definition
premenstrual syndrome - A varied group of physical and psychological symptoms, including abdominal bloating, breast tenderness, headache, fatigue, irritability, anxiety, and depression, that occur from 2 to 7 days before the onset of menstruation and cease shortly after menses begins.
Source: Dictionary.com
Why Do I Have Cravings During PMS?
The fact is that many women crave certain food, mostly chocolate, sweets and salty / fatty foods like potato chips during “that time of the month”.
Scientists and medical professionals don’t completely understand the causes for PMS and the cravings that go along with it. yet.
Are PMS Cravings Really Dangerous Or Addictive?
While PMS cravings aren’t particularly dangerous (Remember, it still is!), some of the foods we eat and the amounts in which we eat them aren’t exactly healthy.
The key is not to let these cravings get out of control, or they can lead to weight gain, obesity and a Read more:Definition
Finally you can get rid of bad credits! 2007-10-22 22:53:42 is a company that provides tools and tips to help you overcome your bad credit. Bad credit is something like a 'blacklist' that you obtain should you be late/refuse to pay up installments for your house and/or car.
For anyone who has bad credit rating, you know that is is not easy to apply for additional loans. The 'bad credit rating' information gets transmitted across ALL banks, which means your chances of obtaining a loan from them is very slim or even zero. It's kinda similar to the scenario of a bankruptee; you can't apply for anything.
However, Badcreditoffers can offer you the solutions that you might just need. Let's say you've had a history of bad credit, but you're now cleared of all debts. However you can't get that credit card because the bank won't approve. Well, Badcreditoffers has a reviewing list of the various credit cards which are applicable to you despite your history of bad credit.
