Rather than just leaving the series for dead, Midway are going out of their way to resurrect it and re-release the franchise on Wii. Midway must be living in a delusional universe where the Cruise'n games were actually well received and fun to play. The fact of the matter is that the Cruise'n games are as fun as being raped in a McDonalds car park - which I'd assume is no fun at all.This is one form of third party support the Wii doesn't need. I'm convinced that Square Enix have huge complexes in India and China disguised as call centres, loaded with staff who work 20 hour shifts on minimum wage, no tea breaks and PC's running on Windows 3.0 to make these games. 16, only 4 days after the North American release! This is great news. My only concern is that I think it's too soon after the European release of Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Only a couple of weeks to be exact. After seeing what releasing Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Paper Mario: The thousand-year door within 2 weeks of one another did to sales in Europe, you would've thought Nintendo would be careful not to release them so close together again. Yet lo and behold, they've gone and done it.I personally think that releasing Super Mario Galaxy in December would've been a better move. At least that way broke gamers can either ask for it as a Christmas present or hit the family up for some Christmas money to go out and buy it. Game review: P.N 03 2007-08-21 15:32:00 P.N 03 was a Capcom developed game which was released exclusively for the GameCube back in 2003. Upon hearing about this game and seeing screenshots I was incredibly excited about it. The guy responsible for Resident evil was designing the game, it had a kick arse looking female lead and would involve robots lasers and big explosions. I was so sold on this game that I pre-ordered it online so I could be guaranteed it on release day. If I could go back in time I wouldn't make that mistake again. As far as I'm concerned Capcom stole my £39.99.P.N 03 is old skool. From the basic controls, to the limited continues, heavy punishment for being hit and the ability to rack up combos by killing enemies in quick succession. It's an old skool game through and through with a slick look and a female protagonist who likes to shake her arse for no apparent reason, lift her legs in the air and do the splits. Bartendurrrrr DS 2007-08-21 10:22:00 EA will be releasing a Bartending game which will be making its way to DS later this year in Japan. Wow! EA actually coming out with something original!? There's a first.To say the DS has a varied library of games would be a massive understatement. With games on how to train your vision, train your face, learn stocks and arithmetic on the market - we can hardly be surprised at the arrival of a Bartending game. I say Bartender DS is a game, but it's actually more of a Bartending encyclopedia - with information on how to mix drinks, pictures of what they look like and interviews with Japanese bartenders on their favorite drinks. Weird, but kinda cool and quirky at the same time. Definitely one to pick up if you're applying to work behind a bar. Those interested in this game can rest assured that this game will be T-Pain free and that his hits "Bartender" and "Buy U a drank" will be absent from this game. Though given EA's involvement I'm surprised they didn't tie them in somehow.C

has officially been cancelled. Once again Sega have gone and wasted money and development time. 3 years worth to be exact. In those 3 years they could've developed Shenmue 3 or perhaps a decent Sonic game for a home console. Take a look at what could've been. The game was originally planned to release later this year in South Korea and China only. No two countries love an MMO quite like South Korea and China. People die due to execessively playing MMO's in those countries on a regular basis. Giving them Shenmue online would've been like selling a crack pipe to a crack head. Egg Nog!! Oh how I love you! 2007-08-15 10:45:00 I went into ASDA the night I bought Harry Potter and the deathly hallows to buy some bits and pieces to snack on when I got home. There was I, wandering down the aisles when I saw it...Serge Island Egg Nog sitting on the shelf!!!! I LOVE Egg Nog, but it's not easy to find here in the UK. So I was happy as a pig in muck to find it on the shelf of my local supermarket. I have fond memories of Egg Nog, because I used to drink it non stop whenever I'd go away on holiday to stay with my Grandmother. It's sold everywhere where she lives. One of my cousins used to work at a Serge Island depot and he knew how much I loved Egg Nog, so he'd always bring me back cases of the stuff every week. My Grandmother could never believe how fast I'd go through them all. :PI took one into work with me and everybody there was like "Errr, what's Egg Nog?" I couldn't really explain it. All I could say was "It's a drink". But when people see the word 'egg', they just assume it's raw egg in a carton.

Prime is not your average first person shoot 'em up. Nintendo have coined it as more of a first person adventure and this sums up the game pretty well. It is not divided into stages or missions as with most FPS's. Instead the game world is one huge area in which Samus must explore. What also causes this game to stray from standard FPS territory is what Samus is able to do. Being a woman she's naturally able to do things that fellas in other first person shooters can't do. Capcom have released a new batch of screenshots which show the Raccon city police station where RE2 took place, but they're hardly confirmation by a long shot because: [a] They do not show Leon and Claire and [b] Jill visits the Police station in Resident evil 3.I really do hope the Resident evil 2 scenarios make it into the game. It'd be silly to have 0, 1 and 3, but not 2. Given Resident evil 4's major success I think fans of the game who've yet to play the second game would like to see in short how Leon's adventure originally kicked off. Dirt-bike action on Wii in 'NitroBike' 2007-08-28 12:38:00 This game looks HAWT! As part of my promise to myself to get into games I normally wouldn't look twice at, I'm SO buying this. The original NES ExciteBike was a blast and ExciteBike 64 got rave reviews when it released for the N64 a few years back. Unfortunately I never got to play it. My Nintendo 64 was boxed up and in the bottom of my cupboard by the time it released. Hopefully NitroBike will continue the trend and be a solid, fun game. Judging from the video it has all the right stuff going for it. Nice graphics, fast paced action, a bit of trash metal and online play supporting up to 4 players.
