Ingenious Media PLC realizes labels cannot afford to waste efforts on older, niche bands, and that's why they've found opportunity to finance UB40, Peter Gabriel, Prodigy and Travis. The primary issue is that while the bands still draw a formative amount of attention to sell lots, they've got nothing new or interesting to offer by way of sound recording, at least according to the fans. On a grand scale, bands like these do not sell albums well.
