Dopod 900 operates on Windows Mobile 5.0, equipped with full-sized QWERTY keyboard, huge 3.6-inch touchscreen, 3G, WLAN/Wi-Fi and 1.2 megapixel camera. The design of Dopod 900 is just like the usual PDA, but has a rotating top screen. Its full-sized QWERTY keyboard makes the phone looks like that of Nokia Communicator. The phone is bulky measuring 81 x 127.7 x 25 mm and equally heavy weighing 285g. It can either be used in closed mode as a phone, in flip-open mode as small laptop or with the flip locked in place exposing the display on top as your typical PDA. The phone lacks a convenient one-touch silent-mode button, but it does come with a volume control toggle switch on the side. The stylus on the other hand is well-sized and comfortable to hold.
