It's alarming to think that there are amateurs out there that think that they can jump in with some metal and welding torch and copy a professional's custom chopper design with little or no instruction.
We're not telling you that it's impossible to build your own chopper frames or even to build a fast running, high performance motorcycle on the first shot out of the shop, but I will advise you to get instructions.
Study diagrams, consult with experts and if you don't have patience to do this, my tip of the day is to leave it to the professionals in the bike building field.
This video might be a good place to begin the learning process on how to build your own motorcycle frames. I don't know if it includes diagrams or if it's just a video with basic instructions, but it has been brought to my attention and highly recommended as a top notch instructional video of its kind.
