The Fascinating Beauty Of Nature 2007-10-29 10:37:13 The enchanting trees and the winter breeze The shimmering sun and the sweet dew The delightful fragrance of flowers Beneath the vast sky which is dazzling blue How I wish I’d see this view And if this sight really does exist Oh! This is my only wish The beauty of which I can’t resist The hills were carpeted in green And the valleys with their beauty extreme The birds chirping happily in the air But this really sounds like a dream The beauty that nature confers upon us Ah! Why do we destroy? The trees, the hills and the beautiful lakes Not knowing, this is what our eyes enjoy! Read more:Beauty
Katie's Fate! 2007-11-04 06:38:41 Poor Katie
had a headache So she decided to bake a cake The cake was a fabulous cupcake And after eating it, Katie had a toothache So she decided to take a break But couldn’t help remaining wide awake Then suddenly she saw a snake And got a really frightening shake She put her dear life on stake And jumped into the nearby lake Thus, her day was spoilt and for goodness’ sake I hope you don’t have a day like Katie and her cake!(Picture courtesy: http://www.kiddymania.co.uk/index.php)
Library ..... Is It The Crazy Place? 2007-11-04 05:10:44 “What do you think is the best place in the world?”, asked my friend as we walked home together down the lane. “hmmm….For me it is the Library
, I suppose”, I answered back. “The Library”, said my friend in complete disbelief, “you must be crazy”. Then she hurried to her house leaving me far behind pondering over my thoughts. What wrong had I said after all? Why did she think I was crazy? If you all too have the same thoughts I am back once again to convince you that the library, is after all, the best place in this whole wide world! I am a person who believes that there is bliss in solitude. Oh no! I am not really shy or timid but yes, I would much prefer the sole company of books than any other acquaintance. And according to me there is no other better place for me to enjoy life for eternity in the companionship of my dear books. In my opinion the library is a temple of knowledge. It is an abode of enlightening books. The books in the library enhance our v Read more:Crazy

The Special Child! 2007-11-01 12:31:44 Conflicting thoughts filled Aria’s mind. It had been a week since she had last seen her old palatial bungalow as she had now shifted to a fancy new house near the beach. There was a park nearby but Aria had never been there to play. Aria was a shy and timid girl aged eleven. She had a lot of trouble making her old friends who were her sole companion. She liked company but was frightened to make new acquaintances and socialize. So she still had no people to play with and lived in solitude. She dearly missed her old companions, their games, their dolls and their smiling faces always there to help her. That evening Aria’s mother had told her to go to the new park, make friends and enjoy herself. Aria had agreed thinking she could do it. But now, her mind varied. There were numerous children in the lively park. They belonged to different age groups. Some were just toddlers riding a tricycle or some were third graders running around like crazy. There were many children of he Read more:Special
Three Things To Die For & My Top Musical Picks! - Another Meme 2007-11-10 08:58:52 I think this is a 'meme' weekend for me. After receiving a meme on Seven Things About Me That You Might Not Know, I did some research on what a 'meme' is and I posted the article yesterday. You can read it here. Now, I’ve been tagged by Hartley at PetLvr.com - The Blog to do a 'double meme' on 3 Things To Die For and oh, yah .. my Top Musical
picks! So here I go trying my hands at this thing once again. Three
Things To Die For :- The most expected answer from me would be chocolates! Yeah! That’s on the top of my list. Any kinds of chocolates! They are usually delicious and mouth-watering. So if you haven’t still liked them, go try your hands at some of these delicacies!Fantasy Films like Harry Potter, Eragon, Spiderman, Superman and Batman are next on my list! But the best of all of them would be Harry Potter. I’m still in awe about how J.K Rowling must have thought about such a great story and how the film directors could have created it into such a beautiful movie.
A New Look For My Blog 2007-11-10 08:58:24 Hi to all! This weekend I did some tough job and changed my blog layout. I’ve put a new simple template which is very readable (or I think so!). I’ve opted for a 2-column layout this time because it’s much more compact than my previous 3-column one.Hope you all like this new look. Seven Things About Me That You Might Not Know – A Meme 2007-11-10 08:28:50 Hi guys! I’m back again but with something different this time. While surfing some great blogs I found that I had been tagged by Megha Mathur at Life in Black & White to do a meme. I’m glad to be a part of this great game! Now…..now…..now, I know that you must be wondering what a meme is. According to me a meme is a chain game which tags other people around the blogosphere asking them to do the same meme. For example- you could start a meme on your three favorite movies and tag other people or your friends to do the same meme. It’s a great way to make good friends around the blogosphere! My meme is to write seven things about me that you might not know. Ah! That’s difficult now as I’ve told all my readers most of the things about me that I know! However, I’ll try my best to do this fun meme. I read too many books- I think you all know this, but what you must not know is how many hours I read a day! I must be reading for an approximately fiv Read more:Seven
The Stones I Threw! 2007-11-07 10:30:30 My neighbor’s window was my aim But if it fell on my Aunt’s head Surely only I was to blame So I decided to take my brother’s aid Armed to head and toe with stones I threw them at my neighbor’s window And I was tickled to my bones When my neighbor did withdraw After playing this naughty prank I ran as fast as I can And the next day I really shrank As the stones came back to me from that man! Blogging Ideas - Where Do They Come From? 2007-11-06 10:25:37 Hi guys! Today I thought I’d write something different from the usual stories, poems or oddities! After reading all your encouraging comments on my blog, I noticed that many of you out there are wondering where I get my ideas for posts from. Now, get ready cause I’m going to tell you all about my secret ideas! Ideas are like your shadows. They follow you everywhere you go! They follow you to the garden, the playground, the school and even the bathroom. You can find ideas all around yourself! But your work is only to observe. We’ve all made long tales about some lie at school to pour parents or teachers. Don’t you deny that! So, what’s the need for an idea? They’ll just pop up in your mind if you don’t find them. O.K! Now I’ll tell you about myself. Most of my ideas come from my daily life. While coming back from school one day, I saw a girl on the wheelchair. She had a depressed expression o her face. That was a fabulous idea for me. And that is the day that Read more:Blogging
Deep Darkness 2007-11-14 11:15:36 Happiness had been a significant part of Leona’s life. Being the only daughter of her parents she had got every exquisite thing she had yearned for.But now her life had taken a difficult toll. Her recent arguments with her friends and family had led her to see another part of life which had been alien to her until now. Sadness and loneliness had stepped into the pretty picture of her life. While dejectedly returning home from school after missing her bus, Leona was kicking stones on the road. It was an abandoned path with no other soul in sight. But when Leona looked forward she saw a pretty young girl of about her age coming from the opposite side of the road. But something which truly defined her beauty was her lovely and deep dark blue eyes. When the girl passed by Leona she pushed her by mistake. She apologized to Leona but now anger had taken hold of her.. “Are you blind? Can’t you see and walk?” shouted Leona angrily at the girl. The poor girl suddenly b Read more:Darkness

A Whooping 655 Million Dollar Gift! 2007-11-12 10:12:33 While flipping through the newspaper yesterday, my eyes boggled out as I read this news. It was about Mr. Mukesh Ambani, an Indian businessman, who is now the richest man in the world. Mr. Ambani, recently gifted his wife (Neeta Ambani) a…a…whooping 655 million dollar (Rupees 242 crore) corporate jet. This gift has a business office and a cabin management system for games, music, satellite television and wireless communication! But more interestingly, it has a master bedroom, master lavatory with a range of showers, galleries and a sky bar in the forward lounge complete with mood lighting! I let out a huge gasp as I read this news. How lucky! A private jet! I would have considered myself lucky enough if I had an artificial small toy plane as a gift. But this is unbelievable! This gift would be something that anyone would cherish! And why not? It’s so grand and lavish after all! I wish from the bottom of my heart that I too could buy something like this when I grow up. The Most Wanted Criminal! 2007-11-11 10:53:23 “Hahaha”, I laughed loudly in a sinister manner. The laugh was not a good old laugh like mine but a menacing criminal’s laugh. My attire too wasn’t like me at all. A black dress and a black automatic revolver occupied my hand. I looked no less than a criminal myself! And my criminal list was endless. Twenty-four murders, eighty-two robberies and looting fifty-six banks was a small part of the list. Oh O.K, I was just kidding! I couldn’t have the courage to do so much but of course! I did something which converted me into a criminal and put my poster on the Most Wanted list at the police station!! My first criminal act was to loot all the candy stores in town! Yeah! I robbed all of them and now I live in an abode almost made of nothing but candies. I also eat nothing except candies and chocolates. Wow! What a life I have. Does I.M Language Affect Grammar Of Students? 2007-11-22 11:18:33 Hello to all. Hope you all remember about the survey on IM Language that I had told you about. I know that I’m a bit late in posting this; but as you know it’s better late then never! What Is IM Language? Now, what do you mean by IM Language, some of you might ask! According to me, IM language is Instant Messaging or texting language used primarily by kids using internet/mobile phones for IMing, sending e-mails and SMS etc. I am of the view that excessive usage of texting/instant messaging by children influences their grammar, spelling, etc., but I’m not opposed to it when I'm on the net. I don't always write everything out completely and use phrases like "brb", LOL etc. The FindingsI had earlier published a post 'IM Language Improves Grammar
& Vocabulary!' and put a survey to know the view of my readers on this subject. According to the result of this poll, majority of the people said that NO, IM language doesn’t affect the grammar of the students. I can not ag Read more:Affect

Errors With A Twist Of Comedy! 2007-11-30 08:36:33 A well planned shoot-out had to be executed at New York City. Jonathan Pitcher, a novice in this field is also working under the gang. This was Jonathan’s first experience in such a kind of dangerous plan. Being new to the gang, he had recently learned the rules and regulations! He was instructed to reach the New York Central Park, sharp at 11:30 p.m. He did as he was told and saw not a single soul except an old man sitting in black overalls. Sure that he was his man; he went and sat down beside him. In a murmur and without turning his face towards the man, he asked in a hoarse whisper, “Have you got it?” The man did not reply but got up and kept a brown parcel on his vacant seat and stealthily walked away! Jonathan was rejoicing over completing his first and the most important task of his life! Awaiting The Immortal Death ...... 2007-11-26 10:39:49 Stephen Anglovitz lay on the hard cold and bare ground on the New York Highway. He was a man of poverty and now even worse, he was homeless and stranded on the street, where he took refuge from the biting cold. He lay on his back staring at the velvety night sky, littered with bright shimmering stars. They formed some vivid shapes in the ebony dark sky. As Stephen studied them he was taken back into his salad days of the past. As a child too Stephen had loved to gaze at the night sky but this time he longingly watched the stars, which were like crystal balls away from the Earth for him. His name was associated with the Anglovitz, who held a high position in Norway. Stephen had played in the lap of luxury and happiness. His father was a wealthy and respected businessman. So Stephen had the most wonderful childhood one could have ever dreamt of. Riding on the sledge, enjoying his games and studying occasionally, was only what he had to do. The Tiffin Thief! 2007-12-07 09:47:03 Hi Guys, This time I wrote my poem with an Indian touch. A 'Tiffin' in India means a light mid-day lunch. All Indian schools do not necessarily have a cafeteria, so the students carry lunch boxes along with ourselves. These tiffins, as we call them, are packed with lip-smacking dishes along with the sweetness and hard work of our mother's hands who wake up early to prepare her child's lunch! To school I’d daily take a tiffin Relishing the tasty meal within But today I didn’t have the pleasure Because I didn’t take the accurate measure My tasty meal has been stolen Then all this started happening now and then The tiffin thief I thought I’d find Making a great plan in my mind That day I hid behind the table But to understand what I saw, I was unable A monkey entered from the chimney Then ate every morsel and went and sat on a tree!Related Posts:The Stones I Threw! From The Dustbin!Mysterious money!...Part-IMysterious Money!...Part-II Read more:Thief
