Watch out for this scam. Police say that the gang usually comprises four members, one adult and three younger ones.
While the three younger ones, all appearing sweet and innocent, divert their "mark" (or intended target) with a show of friendliness , the fourth -- the eldest -- sneaks in from behind the person's back to expertly rifle through his or her pockets and purses or bags for any valuables being carried.

I have to tell you, I'm a little disappointed with PETA's latest protest, "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" in Hollywood - August 20, 2007.
Speak plainly; if you mean you'd rather go barely naked than wear fur, say that. But what's the point of a bare-assed lie? Or nearly bare, that is.

Before I tell you what FOKO is, let me take you through the dynamics of Slash and Burn. In the US and much of Europe managed timber lands has led to the increased forest cover in those countries, see Liberals Cannot See the Trees for the Forests and as I explained in Muslims largest Cause of Global Warming I am not one of those who believe that we are in danger of a cataclysmic Global Warming which will doom the Earth. On the other hand, I do believe that destroying rain forests raises the level of CO2 which will be problematic long term. That is to say the problem with Global Warming, to the extent that there is any, is not a problem with what the United States is doing, but rather on what much of the under-developed world is doing, mainly in the destruction of forests in their part of the world.

Although I expected the Berlin Wall to fall sooner or later, I was surprised when it did. Although I expect Fidel Castro
to die sooner or later, I will be surprised when he does, given all the false rumors of his previous deaths.
When Castro finally does die though, that will not be the end, but the beginning of a revolution
. Very few people know this but before Castro liberated Cuba from foreign exploitation it was an economic powerhouse with an economy stronger than half of the countries in Europe at the time. It only became a banana republic after Communism. Presently, Hawaii has a bigger tourist industry than all of Mexico combined and I expect that Cuba, once liberated from Castro's clutches, can do even more business given the island's proximity to the US.
