Would you like to blog and make money, for an entire year, without worrying how will you get this money in your pocket?Well, this thing is possible. And you really don't have to do anything out of the ordinary. You don't have to buy anything, pay for expensive software or create a new, professional blog. All you need to do is to visit an website named Blog For A Year and sign up for FREE. Once you do that, you create your own profile and get a voting badge, which you can place it on your blog and ask people to vote for you. The more votes you get, the more chances to win the competition you have. The aim of this website is to raise about $160,000 for this competition, through donations. The stats of this blog
2007-10-10 12:30:00
This is the post number 101! Already 100 articles posted on this blog, in under 3 months. I've realized that the time goes by fast. About 2 months and a half ago I've created the first 4 or 5 posts that started this blog, on 5th of august 2007. And now, I reached the post number 101..it wasn't easy, but I got here. If I'll keep updating my blog on a daily basis, I'll get to 202 posts in the next 2 and a half months. When I first started this blog, I wasn't getting any significant traffic. But now, I get up to 30 visitors per day. It is not too much, but this situation will change over the following months, when the blog will grow. Currently, the main source of traffic for my blog is LinkReferral. This website sent over 200 visitors so far this month to me. The other sources of traffic are the search engines ( especially Google ) and other sites to which I've linked up to. I'm also promoting my blog via social bookmarking websites, free links directories and other free traffic s

ScriptLance Project UPDATE
2007-10-09 04:22:00
I've managed to complete the Script Lance project I was talking about in a previous post. In case some of you don't know what the project was about, I will tell you right now. I was assigned an easy project: to rewrite 10 articles, about opt in mailing lists and to deliver it until yesterday. And the job was done and the articles were sent back to the guy who wanted me to do this job for him. After he received his rewritten articles, he paid me into my Script Lance account $20. Initially, I agreed to complete the project for him for $15, but I was surprised to see that he actually paid me 5 extra bucks. It was a pleasure for me to do this easy task for Glen ( the guy who hired me for the project ) and I will work with him again, if he needs me, because he really is a nice guy, who know what he wants and appreciates others' work. He always communicated with me and me with him, during the time I was working to complete the task. This is a very important aspect, when you work as freela

Invalid clicks or impressions on Google Ads
2007-10-09 03:51:00
I've just finished reading all my emails, when I came up on one, from Google , in which I was warned that I've generated invalid clicks or impressions, for the Adsense ads that I'm serving on my blog. This is funny, because I don't remember doing such a thing. Here is the actual email that the guys from Google sent me:" Hello Tiberius,It has come to our attention that invalid clicks or impressions havebeen generated on the Google ads on your site(s) through users ofthird-party programs paid or provided with other incentives to visityour site. Such programs include, but are not limited to auto-surf,pay-to-surf, pay-to-read, or pay-to-click sites. Please bear in mind that if we continue to detect invalid clicks orimpressions from these services on your ads, we may disable youraccount to protect our advertisers. The Story of a Scammer - part two -
2007-10-08 11:09:00
Yesterday, I've started to tell you the story of a scammer who I have personally met myself and talked to. Today, I will continue with the second part of this short story, so please read on..[...] Then I thought it is better not to talk to loud about what this guy was doing online. So, I've decided that I shouldn't talk about his "dirty businesses" while we were in public places, but rather to do it only when no one was listening. From that day on, this was like our little secret.I was wondering how much money he is making, by extorting people online? So, I asked him who much he manages to rake in for a successful scam. He answered that the amount of money may be different, depending on what he was "selling" on EBay. But he usually got between 200 and 500 dollars per transaction. And he was able to complete about 2 or 3 transactions per month. Not bad for him, right? I mean, are you able to make this money in a month, let's say, as an average blogger? Maybe not.. But what was he ac

The Story of a Scammer - part one -
2007-10-07 07:21:00
I was talking about some types of scams that you may encounter, as an active Internet user, a couple of posts ago. I think that some of you will going to ask me if I actually encountered a real scammer, face to face..Yes, I did. And I will tell you his story immediately.. Now, I'm not promoting any types of scams nor I'm going to praise this guy for what he was doing. I'm just going to tell you his story and how he ended not to scam people anymore. So, let's start..I first met this guy about 1 year and half ago, when I've started my first year at the University where I'm currently studying, in my hometown called Pitesti ( located in Arges District, Romania ). He was in the same group of students with me, at Marketing. I didn't knew who he was, or what he was doing for a living, because I haven't met him before. But soon, we started to talk to each other and to be more friendly than we were until then. He seemed to be a nice guy, with no intentions to harm anyone or to show off t

The $10 video review
2007-10-06 08:12:00
If you want to have your blog review ed in a professional way, then you could ask Charles Lau to do this for you. He won't do it for free, but this video review idea is really interesting. Once he will review your blog, the video will appear on his blog, at Charles Lau.com. Some of the blogs he has reviewed so far are: John Cow ( do not mistake it with John Chow's blog, because this are 2 separate and unrelated blogs ), Webtalks, Carl Ocab, and many others. Now, let me express my opinion about the video reviews Charles Lau made so far: the quality of the reviews is a bit low and, when I watched the one made for Webtalks, I couldn't clearly understand what Charles was saying, probably because of some audio problems that he had during the recordings ( the sound of the review was a bit too low, even though I've turned my headphones' volume to the max and couldn't understand what he was talking about..it sounded like mumbling to me :( ). I do not want to criticise Charles Lau's effor

Introducing WidgetBucks
2007-10-05 07:52:00
I've just signed up for a new money making opportunity a few days ago, but didn't had the time to present it here, on My PPC Advertising blog. I was searching for a new way to make money with my blog, when I came across this new opportunity. You'll probably gonna ask me what's WidgetBucks ? And how this is gonna help you earn some more cash blogging ? First of all, this opportunity is similar to AmasenseAds or AuctionAds, meaning that you will display a banner on your blog that presents products which are for sale, such as laptops, books, photo cameras and more. The difference between WidgetBucks and AmasenseAds or AuctionAds is that you do not have to make a sale, to make money. Nope..This is not a CPA kind of opportunity ( CPA stands for Cost Per Action, meaning that you're getting paid IF a visitor makes a purchase of a product that you promote ). But, this is a PPC opportunity, just like Google Adsense or Bidvertiser. You get paid for EVERY click received from your visitors, wi

2007-10-04 07:07:00
You've probably consider that it's time for you to use Google Adwords to advertise your site, to get more visitors, more subscribers, more customers etc. You've done some research in the PPC advertising world and came to the conclusion that Adwords is the best advertising platform for you. But maybe you haven't used too many PPC advertising platforms and you don't know how to start on Adwords. So that's why I've compiled this topic, to let you know how to do it correctly. Please read the following lines.. 1. You go to “https://adwords.google.com/select/” , then you press the " Click to begin " button. 2. A screen will appear, prompting you to choose the languages and the countries where you want your ad to appear. If your website is in English, then select "English" and the countries to which you want your website to be advertised to. 3. Once you've completed this step, you can start creating your ad. You have a limit of 25 characters for the title and 35 characters for the

Make Money Online Selling Private Label Software
2007-10-20 07:56:00
There are a lot of ways to start making money online this days. You can start your own site or blog and monetize it with Google Adsense or you can promote various programs and services on it; you can become an affiliate and earn money every time someone buys something that you promote; you can make money reading emails, completing surveys or trying products etc. You just have to find the money making opportunity which fits you.One of the many ways that can bring you a good income is to sell PLR software ( PLR = Private Label Rights ). Again, you have to find the software..or program..that you consider it is the most appealing to others, so that you can be sure that you will start making money with it. But before starting the selling of the respective software, you must be sure that you have the Private Label Rights for it. Without it, you CAN NOT resell the program and if you do it, you may get into troubles. This programs are created by professionals and not by some obscure guys that s

Some Pros and Cons on Adsense
2007-10-19 16:31:00
Again, I will talk about Google Adsense . And I'm not doing this because I'm paid by Google, or anything like that..I'm doing it because I want to inform my blog's first time visitors about this program that could offer them the possibility to earn some money online, if they have a site or a blog. It is good for them to know as much as possible about Adsense, so they can decide if this program is good for them and will help them earn money, or it will be just a waste of time.As with any money making opportunity that is available on the Internet this days, there are Pros and Cons on Adsense, too. I will list below some of this, starting with the Pros first, then moving to the Cons..The Pros: 1. Adsense is considered as being a great tool for webmasters and this because it helps them make their sites profitable, by generating a monthly income, based on their traffic. With this income, the webmasters are able to pay their hosting bills, the domain names, the advertising costs etc and

Update for Kontera Content Link
2007-10-18 08:22:00
I was browsing through my email messages today and one caught my attention. The sender of it was Kontera Support, from Kontera.com. If you don't know what Kontera is, I'll tell you in a few words: it is a way to monetize your blog, just like Adsense, Adbrite or Bidvertiser, the only difference is that with Kontera, you don't use text ads, but text links. The code you insert in your website allows you to display small pop up boxes, with ads related to a certain keyword. You earn money every time a visitor clicks on that ad. The pop ups are not intrusive, by the way. You can sign up for a free Kontera account, clicking here.Back to the email that I received...So, as I was saying, the guys from Kontera sent me an email, telling me that they've updated their payment methods and that they now also pay via PayPal, which is a faster and safer way to receive the money. Until now, they were paying only by check, as far as I know. They asked me to tell them my PayPal email address and my Kon

Adsense Alternatives
2007-10-17 10:28:00
Probably that I've already talked about Adsense alternatives, but if I did it, I only named a few of them. Currently, on this blog, I use Google Adsense, and 2 other alternatives to this service: Adbrite and Bidvertiser. I know what most of you will say: " But you shouldn't use Bidvertiser and Adbrite along with Google Adsense. It is against the TOS of Google. " You're right, the Terms of Service from the big G clearly state that I shouldn't use any other contextual or Adsense-like ads on my site or blog. But here's the difference: Bidvertiser and Adbrite are NOT contextual, as Google Adsense ads are. So I can use this and the Adsense ads, without a problem ( I've checked that myself, on a couple of forums and asked here and there and it's ok to mix this ads together )Now, let's get to the point of this article.. For those who can't sign up for a Google Adsense account, or they were kicked from this program, after breaking some rules, I've compiled a list of other G.A. altern

How to succeed with Google Adsense?
2007-10-16 06:19:00
The dream of all Adsense publishers is to make big money with this program, which they can easily implement on their websites. But it is not enough to just have a cool website or blog and a Google Adsense account. This won't bring you any income, if you do not work a bit in optimizing your website to get more visitors and more click throughs on your Adsense ads.SEO ( Search Engine Optimization ) is not just the only thing that matters when it comes about making some cash with Google Adsense . Of course it is important, but there are also other factors that will influence your income, in a good or bad way.One of the things that should be considered is that a cool website design won't help too much. No one says not to have a nice looking site..the image DOES matter too. But it is simply not enough. The content is the one you should consider improving. Also, the way the Google ads are arranged and blended into your site are the factors that are important, too.And I would like to talk abo

To blog for fun or to blog for money?
2007-10-24 09:24:00
I've seen a lot of people asking themselves this question: " Should I blog for fun or should I do it for the money? " Well, if you like to blog about a certain topic ( such as making money online, traveling, photos, music etc ), then go ahead and do it. But if you don't like to blog about that topic and you're simply in for the money, you should forget about starting a blog. Why? The answer is simple: if you do it because you REALLY like to talk about something, it would be easier for you to find information, to answer to your readers' questions and it would be also fun. You'll blog to relax, not because you HAVE to blog about something you hate to do it. On the other hand, if you're blogging just to make money, on a topic you completely don't like, you'll get bored quickly and you'll say that " Blogging isn't profitable and isn't for me. "And you may be right about that. Maybe that blogging isn't for you, or maybe you're blogging about something you dislike. The solution

John Cow gets busted
2007-10-23 10:14:00
No, that's not a mistake. It's John Cow and not John Chow I'm talking about. John Cow.com is a copycat of John Chow's blog. The name may look th same and the design also may look the same, but this are the only things that make the John Cow blog look like JC's blog. The content is different and the owners of Cow are not copy/pasting what John Chow says on his blog. It really is an interesting blog and you should visit it too. Personally, I like it. I like the theme, the articles written there and the entire blog, overall. Now, why am I saying that John Cow is busted? What did the owners of this blog committed? A crime, an extortion? Neah, nothing that bad. Only that their blog was ruled out from BlogRush. If you don't know what BlogRush is, I'll tell you: BlogRush is a new way to bring traffic to your blog, for free. That's correct: you don't have to pay to sign up for this site. Also, this method will not affect the way your blog works, nor will get you in troubles with Google

The Affiliate Marketing Guide
2007-10-22 09:51:00
Many webmasters know how to do affiliate marketing. And this because they are doing it for a while and they learned how it's done properly. Also, they know what it takes to be successful in affiliate marketing. But those webmasters that are new in this field, may not know how things are going and they'll first need to learn how they can do proper affiliate marketing and make money. This article here serves as a guide for people like you, who are newbies in making money online, with affiliate marketing websites or programs.First of all, you need to know the definition of affiliate marketing. How to use social networking websites to promote your own site or blog?
2007-10-21 08:43:00
Every webmaster and blogger wants to get as much traffic as possible to his site or blog, because he knows that if he'll bring a lot of visitors, his site will become popular and he will also make some cash with it. There are many ways to get traffic to a certain site or blog that you own: you can use pay per click advertising ( like Google Adwords, Bidvertiser, AdBrite etc ), link exchange, banner advertising, free advertising, search engine submission and many more other ways. It's your choice: either it is free advertising or also, paid advertising. Of course, you can mix this two types together ( without forgetting that some methods are not recommended if you monetize your site with AdSense or other PPC ads ).Another method that can be used to promote your site ( this time, for free ) are the social networking websites. You know what I'm talking about: Hi5, Facebook, MySpace etc. This are social networking websites, the places where you sign up for free and start making new frie

Tips on avoiding affiliate marketing scams
2007-10-28 08:48:00
Many people decide at a certain moment that it is time for them to quit the 9 to 5 job and start making some money working for themselves and not for others, to make those guys rich. So, they will start to search for money making opportunities online, because they know that by working at home, on the Internet, you can earn a decent income every month ( note that I've said decent, and not getting rich overnight ). Let's face it, you'll be able to earn more than your boss pays you for the work you're doing for him..Of course, this will happen if you're willing to invest some time and maybe a bit of cash in starting a home based business ( in the affiliate marketing field ).Making money as an affiliate should by an easy task, as it doesn't involve having your own products to sell, spending a lot of cash on advertising etc. Usually, you need a couple of things to get started: - A product or service that you can resell and earn money - A blog or website to promote that product that yo

Buy Me A Beer
2007-10-26 13:04:00
I'm sure that most of you have seen this WordPress plug in, on most WordPress built blogs. And those who are using the plug in, are also using this phrase: " If you like my post, buy me a beer. "Now, some of you may wonder what can this plug in do? Is it a way to get a beer from your visitors? Will visitors have to really give you something to drink? The answer: No, it isn't a way to actually make your visitors or readers to give you a beer, for real. It is a way to ask people to support your blog, by donating you a small amount of money. All blog owners ( almost all ) use a way to collect some donations from their readers and visitors. Every blogger thought at an unique and even funny way to do it. They aren't simply asking for a donation, by saying: " Hey, I just need you to donate me $100.. " This because no one will ever donate a single cent, if they see that the respective blogger is begging for money. Instead, they use either a simple " Donate " button from PayPal or they come

A new money maker
2007-10-25 07:53:00
While I was surfing the web yesterday, reading a couple of blogs, I've stumbled upon a new money maker for us, bloggers. This website is called Ads-Click. You may wonder how Ads Click can help you make money? Well, this site is somehow similar to Bidvertiser, Google Adsense and AdBrite, meaning that you are paid per click. So, you don't have to wait for a visitor to buy something, after clicking on your Ads-Click ads, for example. It's simple: every time someone clicked the ads you're displaying, you're paid for that. What can you monetize with Ads Click? First of all, your content, using the Tag Clouds, the standard banners ( like those from Adsense ), or you can monetize your search and also your RSS feed. As I said, you can use Tag Clouds, like the one I have here, on this blog, in the left sidebar, to the bottom of the page, the standard ad banners, the InLine Text Links ( like the ones from Kontera ), or you can place ads in your RSS feed, to make money with it. You choose wha

Why I don't like Internet Explorer
2007-11-02 11:03:00
It was a time when I was using Internet Explorer . But now, I'm not using it no more. And this because some websites or applications from the Internet aren't behaving properly on this browser. If we compare Firefox with Internet Explorer, we can say for sure that the browser offered by SpreadFirefox or Google is a lot better than Internet Explorer, as it offers a safer and lot more improved web navigation.Let's take the example of my blog: if I try ( or anyone else ) to access the blog via IE ( Internet Explorer, the browser crashes, or it loads the blog too slow. I don't want to blame the IE browser nor to say that Firefox is one of the best things that ever happened to the Internet, as I know that I have some widgets or HTML codes that may cause crashes of IE browser. But I believe that the guys who are developing Internet Explorer, should do something about those frequent problems encountered by their browser. Not only that my blog can't be properly accessed via this type of bro

And another month goes by...
2007-11-01 17:41:00
That's right..October is now left behind, Halloween has passed too and we've started a whole new month: November. Today is the first day of this new month. I'm sure that most of you, my readers and visitors, have lots of memories of things that happened last month, either it were good or bad ( but let's forget about bad things for now..).It would be really interesting to find out what did you do for this Halloween? In your country, this day is celebrated as it is in the USA or other countries ? Or is just another day, at the end of the month? In my country, Romania, Halloween has become an attraction for many people, every year, even though is not like a traditional holiday. People use to dress up in scary costumes and go to different parties, in clubs or at home. I don't really know if the kids go trick or treat, but I believe that they do eat candies:P You can leave a comment on this blog, telling me what have you done this month, what new goals you've achieved or how was the H

Top Click Advertising - Monetize your blog
2007-10-31 11:35:00
I was browsing through some sites at LinkReferral.com yesterday and I've found one that will help you earn some money with your blog. It is not like Pay Per Post or ReviewMe, but it is similar to Google Adsense, Bidvertiser and AdBrite, meaning that you will make money by placing PPC ( pay per click ) ads on your blog. Every time a visitor will click on an ad from your blog, you will get paid a certain amount ( the minimum amount paid per click by advertisers is $0.02 )What do I believe about Top Click Advertising ( this is the name of the website I'm talking about )?I think that this website will help you earn some money, while blogging about the things you like. It may not be such a big money maker for bigger blogs, but I do believe that for smaller blogs, that don't have so much traffic, or can't use the Google Adsense program, this site is a good opportunity. If you manage to bring about 100 visitors per day to your blog, you will be able to make about $2 a day, which is not th

Use Social Bookmarking websites to drive traffic to your blog
2007-10-30 10:34:00
In one of my previous articles on this blog, I was mentioning that you can use a couple of social networking websites, to drive traffic to your blog or website, for free. Today, I would like to show you another way of getting free visitors, this time using social bookmarking websites. You may ask yourselves " What's a social bookmarking website? " or " What's social bookmarking? ".Well, according to Wikipedia ( one of the biggest online encyclopedias ), social bookmarking is defined as: " a way for Internet users to store, organize, share and search bookmarks of web pages. In a social bookmarking system, users save links to web pages that they want to remember and/or share. These bookmarks are usually public, but depending on the service's features, may be saved privately, shared only with specific people or groups, shared only inside certain networks, or another combination of public and private. The allowed people can usually view these bookmarks chronologically, by category or ta

When constructive criticism isn't what it should be..
2007-10-29 10:32:00
I know that when you build a blog or website online, people will come and visit it and express their opinions about it. They will tell you what should you consider improving, what should you take out or what should you add to that site or blog, to make it more appealing. This is nothing wrong in people saying this to you. Sometimes, you can even use of their ideas to come up with a better theme, less distracting material ( widgets, ads, banners etc ) or some fresh content. It's good to ask your visitors opinion about your website or blog, as they tell you what is good and what is not that good. You should accept this constructive criticism from your visitors and readers. They will immediately notice when you made a change and if this fit your website or not. There are people who really know what they're talking about, when giving you an advice or a constructive criticism. Usually, this kind of people have seen lots of blogs and websites before and know what will be good for you to use

If you want to start your MLM ( Multi Level Marketing ) business, then you need to learn more about it first. You can't just say " I'm starting a MLM business today, without having a clue on what I'm gonna do. But let's hope it will work.. " That's not how you do it. Using the Tell A Friend script to increase your site's traffic
2007-11-05 11:14:00
Every webmaster and blogger is actively searching for a way to increase the flow of traffic to his website or blog. There were many methods developed over the years. Some of those methods really had an impact on the traffic flow of the websites that used them, while others were a complete waste of time, because they didn't delivered the expected results. One of the most successful way of getting the wanted traffic and visitors to a certain site, is viral marketing. If a product or service is good and it is appreciated by the customers, they will sure recommended to others too. More and more people will find out about this product or service and will visit the site where they can find it. So, that website will get many visitors and potential buyers, who are interested in the product sold there. This form of advertising isn't too expensive and it banks on the tendency of a person to spread the word and share something that is either informative or funny. The Tell A Friend ScriptThe Tell

PayLoadz - Upload & sell digital products to make money
2007-11-04 09:38:00
As you all know, there are a lot of ways to make money online this days. You can either have a website, where you promote various programs and money making opportunities, a blog ( to do the same thing ), or you can simply sign up to a certain website, to earn money by reading emails, completing surveys or taking some free or low cost offers, for which you'll get paid back. But what about if you have a couple of digital products, such as e-books, softwares, templates, various scripts etc and you'd like to sell them? Where should you upload them, so people can go and buy it, if they want so? Many affiliate marketers don't have their own websites or blogs, through which they can promote those products. Also, this marketers may not know how to setup a digital products store, or how to implement a payment system on it ( let's face it, we're not all programming gurus..).So they will go to Google and search for some marketplaces that will help them sell their digital products. My 10 Quick Tips To Get Repetead Traffic to your site
2007-11-03 12:48:00
I was browsing through a couple of articles today, looking for more information about affiliate marketing, Google Adsense, Search Engine Optimization etc and I found a short, but interesting articles, that gives 10 quick tips to get repeated traffic to your website. I believe that this tips aren't just for websites owners, but also for bloggers. It's up to you to decide if this tips can be applied to blogs too and if the tips are useful to you.. So, here are my 10 quick tips to get repeated traffic: 1. Update the pages on your website frequently. Stagnant sites are dropped by some search engines.
