acrylic landscape painting "Miami Colors" 2008-07-17 18:46:00 an acrylic landscape done "in studio" from a plein air done a month or so ago. this is about 15x22", a half sheet of buff colored sabretooth multimedia paper. what fun acrylics are! used washy at first like w/c and then a little more opaquely. really a versatile medium. I like the variety of brushstrokes I teased out of the 3/4" sable mix flat I used. Thanks for looking at my work!

. His career and fabulous work are awe-inspiring! Recently I came across a video on youtube released by the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) which is an interview with Chuck. The film is cut into two parts of 10 or 12 minutes each and well worth viewing. Mr Close is well-spoken, articulate and pleasant. I am excited to gain some insight
