sued Epic over its Unreal Engine 3 licensing agreement. In the suit SK alleged that Epic did not deliver workable game code when it was promised, effectively sabotaging the development of Too Human. SK is seeking a clean break from its agreement with Epic as well as damages to compensate for the time and expense of building its own game engine. According to GameDaily BIZ, Epic has filed a counterclaim stating that it has done nothing wrong and that SK is in fact trying to steal Epic’s engine technology to build its own: This lawsuit is a cynical effort by SK to unlawfully enrich itself at the expense of Epic Games… After having exploited Epic’s intellectual property to its advantage, SK now seeks to renege on its payment obligations… Epic is seeking injunctive relief, compensatory damages “in excess of $650,000” and the destruction of infringing goods. for the Wii, but today we have a different take on piece-assembling gameplay: The Golden Jigsaw, an Internet-based game offering $1 million in prize money. It works like this: the 1,000 pieces you'll need to solve the puzzle are hidden on various and sundry web sites. You'll receive daily emails providing clues as to their whereabouts, or you can simply check the site for the clue archive. Once you find a piece, you drag it into a folder on your desktop, then place it in the jigboard. But in the case of a Tennessee kidnap victim, Sony’s PlayStation Portable (PSP) may have saved his life. As reported by the Knoxville News-Sentinel, Jose Ignacio Ortega Garcia was kidnapped, beaten and tortured by a pair of men who held him captive in a filthy motel room for nine days. Garcia, a business owner, was forced to write checks to the men totalling more than $17,000.
