<I>Damages</i> Review for Star Wars Fans 2007-07-27 17:07:57 Episode I: The PilotThe intro music is so deceiving, much like the central theme of the show. Cue the peaceful external shots of New York, bringing you inside to the elevator revealing Ellen Parsons (Rose Byrne) covered in blood.Glenn Close stars as Senator Palpatine, I mean, high-stakes litigator Patty Hewes. Her manipulation of the system and of the people around her is most definitely up to Palpatine's standards. She's cool, charismatic, and cold-bloodedly ruthless. Patience is a virtue Patty knows all too well and it reminds me of Susan Sarandon's character Wensicia from Children of Dune. Read more:Star Wars
