Questa mattina a Roma nel corso del Convegno Nazionale di Legambiente dedicato ai “Comuni Ricicloni” il Comune di Verbania ha ottenuto il primo premio tra i capoluoghi di provincia per i risultati conseguiti nel 2006. Alla manifestazione, con la partecipazione del Ministro dell’Ambiente, Pecoraro Scanio, è intervenuto il Sindaco, Claudio Zanotti, che ha ricevuto il prestigioso riconoscimento nazionale.
“Verbania – precisa il Sindaco -si è classificata al primo posto con un Indice di Buona Gestione dei rifiuti solidi urbani pari a 66,03 punti. Nelle posizioni immediatamente seguenti i Comuni di Asti, Belluno, Novara e Trento, a conferma del ruolo trainante nel Piemonte in questa materia. La soddisfazione è vivissima, perché siamo ritornati ad occupare la prima posizione nazionale: merito principalmente della popolazione della nostra città, che ha accolto con grande maturità

A sorpresa, ancora oggi il 52% degli italiani non utilizza il web.
