In Case We Die (2005-18) 2007-08-23 16:34:00 Although I am one of the many who think their new cd is rather disappointing, I do like their 2 previous albums, Fingers Crossed & In Case We Die; they are really energetic, party pop albums. Just what I want.(Places Like This just sounds too easy, it sounds like they recorded it the White Stripes kind of way, but without having the same abilities/talent the White Stripes have.. (I must say I like Heart It Races though))Perhaps my expectations for the new one were a bit too high, and perhaps if I give it a few more listens, the term "rubbish" might change into "complicated/experimental" and later on into "rather nice" and maybe "even better than the previous two". Perhaps perhaps. Perhaps I'll just put it in the recycle bin and stay in the rather nice and shiny AIH-till-2006-world.(in 2006 they released something REALLY cool: We Died They Remixed.
