Saimoe 2007: 1st Round
2007-09-12 16:30:26
It’s the time when all of moe lovers will choose whose the moe-est of them all. Yes, Saimoe 2007 is now in full swing. The 1st round voting are almost coming to an end. For those that don’t know, click here to find out more about Saimoe 2007. In a nutshell, its a popularity contest where moe lovers everywhere can vote for the most moe anime character of 2007. As you all know, I love moe, and since I cannot go without any moe-ness for even a day, that’s why I consider myself an addict. Moe is without a doubt one of the most important sub-set of the Otaku Culture. Moe?…Otaku…? what’s that…some of you may ask. Well, I assure you, they are not made up words. The Otaku Culture is huge. It is cross boundary, spanning the whole globe with its presence. On the business side, it is worth billions of dollars, from the anime and manga right up to the corresponding merchandising. Click here for more information on otaku and moe. Okay, so that&rsq

Death becomes us
2007-09-29 03:49:45
This week Sunday Scribblings prompt is Powerful. So here’s a haiku on what I think is the most powerful factor in our life… Isn’t mortality our most powerful raison d’etre? It’s a thought that most will surely shook with fright - the thought of death itself we wound up so tight though it’s inevitable death comes to us all we’ll never know whether we’ll go out with a roar most will wish it is or barely just a whimper as most will do- just don’t dwell on it when it all does ends only our deeds remain all the good and bad shouldn’t we leave a happy memories to those left behind instead of just the lugubriousness that comes after? the days we lived and loved and laughed and cried please, cherish it all. by joezul  Hmm, why all these morbid fascination with death now, well, if you may ask. This is a bit off-topic, but do read on. I’ve been MIA for quite a few days now. If you all noticed, my last entry was on the 2oth

The Journey
2007-10-01 14:40:29
This week Writers Island’s prompt is “The Journey “. This journey that we’re all taking is one that has no end, we all starts with hesitation and fear always striving forwards believing in the future, just as the world keep spinning on around the sun unceasingly, just as the leaves that detaches from the tree will always falls down to the earth, fly high then higher than clouds higher than the birds over the blue yonder right up to the black emptiness of space, fly high then strive for the light never be afraid to fall never wonder where you’re headed to you’ll know when you get there, never wonder where you’re going to land for wherever it is your feet will always touch terra firma, and when you do get there cry out but not from sorrow cry out in happiness for though your journey might not end yet you have move forward, don’t look back for it might hold you back don’t hold back for it might drag you down, go on finish the journey

I’m still alive…yeah…^.^

Ano&hellip ;umm Actually, my Dell laptop died just before the start of Ramadhan. The only other computer at home was wifey Compaq laptop, but since she’s using it for her thesis, she very adamantly refused to let me use it. So, what this invariably means is that I was left with no computer at all. I can only access the net from work, and since I only blogged in the wee hour of the morning, my existence in the blogosphere almost went kaput. The death of the Dell also affected my blogging in one other important aspect: I lost access to my own blog! I use a password manager to store all my online password, and well, with out I totally forgot what the stupid thing was. I was told it would be quite easy to reset it, but it involved resetting the mysql db. But to tell the truth, surfing the net during work really do need lots of effort. So suffice to say, it took me all almost 2 whole months to reset the password and get control of my blog back, which I did last week. So, here is my bl

Searching For Her Younger Sister
2007-09-19 13:36:15
The NAFASG guys is definitely one of the most thoughtful group of bloggers you can find in the blogosphere. They are always ready to lend a hand to whomever person in need of help. Their latest post shows how unbounded their altruism are. Here below I’m reproducing that post in the hope that this message will spread farther and wider, as together we can all make a difference: Searching For Her Younger Sister Picture this situation and imagine how painful it would be to have face such a situation. This person who have to face such catastrophe could have been you…. Dear Readers, Recently we have received an email from a blogger named, Jackie Hooper, also known as Shinade. In her email, she had requested for the team to help spread the word about her younger sister whom she had not met for so many years. In view of that, we urge you to show your support for our friend, Jackie, and our pursuit for her long lost sister. Please copy and paste this article, from the start to th

The Gift of the Soul
2007-09-17 14:34:38
Writers Island’s prompt this week is: “The Gift“. So, here’s a haiku on my interpretation of the Gift. The gift of the soul That what would we consider to be the best gift, the purest heart is Without a pure heart the soul is an empty void soon, lost dreams prevail Shadows of a dream malignant that lingers living a cursed life Never dare to hope desires that scorn the self have you no pride left? Why struggle- for is it not contempt that awaits you? It’s human nature to become wise later - sad, but it’s the truth How we all hide now too scared to face the truth destruction awaits us It is not too late for this soul of ours to search for redemptions The gift of the soul salvation that heals full deliverance Embrace your soul now for we are mortal beings soon we all will die Let make our short time counts, banish all the shadows, live - have no regrets. I admit, I have been feeling very lethargic these past few days. Guess, the monotony of work

I Love PPP!
2007-09-14 02:30:51
I was asked this by the PPP team, “Do you love PayPerPost?” “Why?” Well, of course I do. PayPerPost (PPP) is simply the best! They’re amazing! Why am I saying this? This is because PPP is the only paid posting solutions from all the others that I’ve signed up to that had given me assignments without fail week after week. Actually, I don’t blog for money. My blog is mainly about my whimsical escape into the land of moe through poetic means. But then, if there’s a chance to make some monies at the same time, why not right? And the best thing apart from money that I had received after signing up with PPP is extra traffic. PPP is an excellent traffic generation source. Why I say this? Well, since signing up with PPP, the traffic that I get from Google searches on the PPP topics that I’ve signed up to is almost 15% from my overall monthly traffic. The screen shot below is just a few of the Google search that I’d received for Sept.
