Hotel Reservations
2007-08-13 04:54:46
I’ve written before that wifey is currently in preparation for her final thesis viva. Given that the viva will be taking place at the University of Nottingham main campus, in Nottingham UK, itself, preparations are really hectic. One of the things that rank high on the preparation list is that of finding accommodation. Since wifey need [...]

If I had a million dollars today to use for my own, whenever I may, I will have to stop and think for if not, i’ll just buy unneedful things; If there’s one thing I want that is I need a place to haunt, my own private place to settle down somewhere quiet, quaint and far from town, to be at one, [...]

A nightmare….
2007-08-08 17:24:13
I had a dream… late night a silence like never before a darkness that cut deep, I heard loud and shrill voices, a cacophony of whispers unnatural sounds seemingly faraway but without a doubt near, very near. Shivering chill up my spine goose pimple all over my skin, in the darkness out of bed I alight feet shuffling heart a beating furious uncertain thought kept swirling about. A scraping noise under the bed hoarse breathing the floor a shaking I turned [...]

Ever since then, both of them lost touch of each other. It has been nine long years since they last communicated with each other, and Sandy is deeply affected by her best friend’s absence. Driveway, free online file sharing
2007-08-24 04:05:47
The bulk of my bandwidth usage every month is from file sharing. I usually downloads all my moe stuffs (anime/manga etc) and shares these to my forumer friends using various file sharing services. Driveway.com is one such online file sharing services that I’ve recently found out. Driveway is a free service. There’s no registration required, as such, using it is very hassle free. It’s accessible from any internet-enabled computer; all you need is just the ubiquitous browser. To upload or download any files, there are only 3 steps needed: 1. Browse and select the required file. 2. Provide your email address to receive the “Download/”Delete” links by email. This is optional, but if you did not give your email address, then you’ll definitely won’t be able to delete the file in the future. 3. Click either the “Send Files for Read” or “Send Files for Edit” option. And that’s it. If the transfer is successful, you’ll view

Poetry Thursday - Let Us Sleep Now
2007-08-23 05:56:51
My tribute to Wilfred Owen for Poetry Thursday   Let us sleep now… to leave all troubles behind ’tis I go lonely as I strive to fill my heart through my existence singing - a heart of joy crying - that of sorrow… let us sleep now, and wait for the new born dawn.       This week Poetry Thursday prompt is using the last line of a poem as a jumping-off point for a new poem. My jumping off point is the line “Let us sleep now…” from one of my most favourite poem, Strange Meeting by Wilfred Owen ( 1893 - 1918).   Strange Meeting It seemed that out of battle I escaped Down some profound dull tunnel, long since scooped Through granites which titanic wars had groined. Yet also there encumbered sleepers groaned, Too fast in thought or death to be bestirred. Then ,as I probed them, one sprang up, and stared With piteous recognition in fixed eyes, Lifting distressful hands, as if to bless. And by his smile, I knew that sullen h

Sunday Scribblings: I get that sinking feeling…
2007-08-26 10:31:24
A darkening sky The shadows lengthening by The retreating sun The darkness creeping in As time passes by; You were crying now I get that sinking feeling I’ll never see you again; This is the last time I held out my hand To touch your beautiful golden lock To look at your tear-streaked face To see what’s reflected in your eyes… Where there were love and passion before Now replaced by sorrow and grief. Farewell, this I accept Even if I taste the bitterness; This I feel when I see you off The loneliness, the emptiness… Will both remain with me forever? I’ve only just get on-line, and saw this week prompt for Sunday Scribblings , which is “I get that sinking feeling…“. Well, since Sunday is almost over here in KL, so my entry is just this short piece.

Dialaflight - Flights to New York
2007-08-30 16:31:51
My wifey will be going back to Notts, UK in October to defend her thesis and for her final viva, as such to celebrate the end of her exhaustive research we have decided to take a break and go for a holidays to New York city before returning home to Malaysia. So once again, we turned to the internet to shop around. One website that particularly caught our attention is Dialaflight.com. We were lucky as right now DialAFlight has some great holiday offers and cheap flights deal. When we checked the listing for flights to New York, we’re quite surprised by the amount quoted as it offered us quite a huge saving. DialAFlight offers flight to all three international airports that serviced New York, namely the JFK flights, LaGuardia flights and Newark flights. The best thing about the DialAFlight site is that you can book all of your holiday needs on the site. DialAFlight is a leading independent UK travel company offering flights, hotels & travel ideas worldwide. It is full of useful

Poetry Thursday: An Open Window
2007-08-30 02:49:49
Here’s my entry for the final Poetry Thursday . This week prompt is “an open window.” There is a boundary to our emotions for if left unchecked won’t it overwhelm us completely? Who wouldn’t want to be engulfed in love, the euphoria of the tenderness, the sensation of desires awakened energizing, stimulating arousing? For all of the emotions imprisoned within us, the pent up anger the repressed hatred the tainted jealousy the blinding faith the guiding hope all are an open window to your inner self… your soul. Look then into your soul and find your true form. Look then not for perfection, but learn to attained a balance a beloved form. by : Joezul

The Gift of the Soul
2007-09-17 14:34:38
Writers Island’s prompt this week is: “The Gift“. So, here’s a haiku on my interpretation of the Gift. The gift of the soul That what would we consider to be the best gift, the purest heart is Without a pure heart the soul is an empty void soon, lost dreams prevail Shadows of a dream malignant that lingers living a cursed life Never dare to hope desires that scorn the self have you no pride left? Why struggle- for is it not contempt that awaits you? It’s human nature to become wise later - sad, but it’s the truth How we all hide now too scared to face the truth destruction awaits us It is not too late for this soul of ours to search for redemptions The gift of the soul salvation that heals full deliverance Embrace your soul now for we are mortal beings soon we all will die Let make our short time counts, banish all the shadows, live - have no regrets. I admit, I have been feeling very lethargic these past few days. Guess, the monotony of work

I Love PPP!
2007-09-14 02:30:51
I was asked this by the PPP team, “Do you love PayPerPost?” “Why?” Well, of course I do. PayPerPost (PPP) is simply the best! They’re amazing! Why am I saying this? This is because PPP is the only paid posting solutions from all the others that I’ve signed up to that had given me assignments without fail week after week. Actually, I don’t blog for money. My blog is mainly about my whimsical escape into the land of moe through poetic means. But then, if there’s a chance to make some monies at the same time, why not right? And the best thing apart from money that I had received after signing up with PPP is extra traffic. PPP is an excellent traffic generation source. Why I say this? Well, since signing up with PPP, the traffic that I get from Google searches on the PPP topics that I’ve signed up to is almost 15% from my overall monthly traffic. The screen shot below is just a few of the Google search that I’d received for Sept.
