Make Money Online using Google Custom Search 2007-09-27 03:36:25 I never got around to incorporating Google
AdSense for Search
on this blog, even though Google provides a set of nifty tools to get this done in no time.
After reading an article on Google Custom Search, I made it a point to finally get that migration done. If you notice on the sidebar, you’ll now see a Google Search box rather than the standard WordPress search box.
Try searching for “Make Money
Online” and you’ll get all results specific to those phrases on this site. At the same time, you might notice that there are advertisements showing up in the search results. Here lies the possibility of making money online for absolutely no additional work. Google Custom Search Engine allows you to link your AdSense account to the search engine, so that you get paid for any clicks on the advertisements.
Isn’t this easy?? It took me just 10 minutes to make the migration, that’s it!
If you are not using Google Custom Search yet, please do incorporate it right
BlogRush: Did you get your traffic spike? 2007-09-25 03:24:24
BlogRush was launched recently by John Reese and the amount of attention it has received is just amazing. I don’t think any other site of its category has ever received the kind of attention that BlogRush received.
For those not aware, BlogRush calls itself a ‘Blog Syndication Network’. Basically, you show one of their widgets on your site (you can see it on the sidebar), and for every impression their widget gets, you get impressions of your blog on our blog sites. This can help generate some additional traffic
to your site.
It works on the pyramid structure, i.e., you get a percentage of syndications each time your referral’s site shows the widget. So, the higher you are in the pyramid structure, in theory, you should get that much more traffic.
So does BlogRush work? I’ve had a few people sign up under me and I’ve seen only a small inflow of traffic from this widget. So, it is worth the effort of putting on your site? I think its too soon to say

The pricing for various logo design packages is given below:
The pricing is very competitive and with the DIY concept, it gives you a unique perspective of getting a point across as to what kind of logo you’re looking for.

RSSBrief from PayPerPost 2007-09-18 00:10:14 RSSBrief from PayPerPost
can help you read more blogs than you’ve been able to read so far!
This is what they claim on their website:
RSSBrief turns you into a blog reading bigwig, complete with your very own personal minion that can summarize anything it finds. RSSBrief uses some very slick lexical analysis technology to produce a proper precis of blog posts and other RSS feed contents to let you instantly get the skinny on a post without having to spend a lot of time drilling down into the details. With RSSBrief you can automatically reduce hundreds of pages of blog feed contents to just a handful, letting you keep up to speed with the latest happenings in the blogosphere quicker than ever before.
I submitted Online Presence to RSSBrief and it took a few minutes to create the summaries. Once created, I read some of the summaries to see how well they came out. My first impression was ‘Not Bad!’. What it does is basically “eat up” sentences here and there.

LinkWorth Affiliate Program undergoes a change 2007-09-12 00:29:23
LinkWorth has revised its AffiliateProgram
, and has come up with an interesting Payout system. In an email that I received today, the details that were provided were:
A performance based program that pays the affiliate if the referring account actually does business with us, rather than just signing up. The payout goes like this:
Advertiser Account Referrals
>> $25 payout once the advertiser spends a minimum of $100.00
>>5% payout on all recurring charges for the life of the advertiser account
Partner Account Referrals
>> $25 payout once the partner earns a minimum of $100.00
Combo Account Referrals
>> $25 payout once the advertiser side spends a minimum of $100.00
>> 5% payout on all recurring advertising charges for life of account
>> $25 payout once the partner side earns a minimum of $100.00
This is quite different from the Payout System for TextLinkAds for the Partner System at least. TLA gives you $25 the moment a new publisher signs up
How to Rank #1 in Google 2007-10-01 13:30:16
So you want to rank #1 in Google
for keywords that best describe your blog or website?
Given below is a consolidation of recommendations from a few sources.
Don’t buy (or sell) site wide links for serps. Buy links from individual pages. Links from individual pages are far more effective when speaking of improving serps, not PR.
Don’t look for high PR links only - start your campaign for a new site with PR 0-1 and slowly move up each week as you see your rankings improve.
Control link placement speed. Remember of “Too many links at once” Google filter.
Control the number of outbound links on your pages and on pages where you place your links, avoid link-farms, links to gambling, pills, etc.
A link from a relevant website is excellent, but a link from a quality site of other niche or other language can also boost your ranking - so don’t ignore such links.
Make links look natural. Use different link anchors, promote not only your main page, but your deep p
TNX.net: The newest text ads kid on the block 2007-10-01 02:46:57 TNX is the latest entrant in the arena of selling text link advertisements. This market is currently dominated by TextLinkAds and LinkWorth.
This is what they claim on their website:
TNX.net combines the benefits of Contextual Advertising, Text Link Brokers and Relevant Exchange of permanent non-reciprocal text links.
TNX introduces some new and unique concepts that can help it differentiate itself from TLA and LinkWorth. A run down is given below.
Publishers get “TNX Points” whenever text ads are displayed on their sites. These sites can be redeemed for cash paid via PayPal or can also be used to purchase advertisements.
For instance, if you currently have 20,000 points, this is what you can buy:
- 20 000 different PR0 pages from different websites
- 400 different PR1 pages from different websites
- 200 different PR2 pages from different websites
- 100 different PR3 pages from different websites
- 40 different PR4 pages from different websites
- 20 different PR5 pages fr Read more:block
