When this fails, he founds his own record label, Megaforce, and signs Metallica as his first band. The working title on this album was "Metal up your ass", but as the record distributors didn't want to distribute an album with such a name, they called it Kill 'em all, which means Kill all the record distributors. The album was recorded in May 83, and had its top position at #120 on Billboard in February of 1988.
