recently, the cover of radiohead’s “in rainbows” was released. unfortunately, no album artwork ever graced our downloaded zip file but now its nice to have something official.
its been quite the experience enjoying this entire album, taking in what is new and combining all the emotions of love, chaos and uncertainty that comes with listening to your favorite band’s recent release. only radiohead could get away with placing their music online, having their faithful fans pay as they choose and placing us all into some type of pyschedelic and colorful daze.

living in new york, danielle lamberti is a colorful painter and illustrator. growing up, she loved to draw and was extremely influenced by attending an all girl catholic high school and being surrounded by a fast-paced cultural environment. over the past few years, danielle interned for the jonathan levine gallery in new york where she assisted on artist installation projects for jeff soto and camille rose garcia, and developed a true appreciation for fine art. inside of her own work, complimentary with bright tones of rainbows and child-like imagination, a soft and feminine quality lies within her character dolls. however without overshadowing her lowbrow and superflat artistic style, hidden close underneath the doe-eyed expressions seems to be a sincere darkness that portrays subtle hints of the world’s joy and sadness.
