I Have Not Had A Good Last 2-3 Days! 2008-04-07 20:10:17 It has been very tough the past three days! I got a call from my (biological mom) eary Saturday Morning. Here at Soul Cast, you know my family to be Mama Dee and Papa Jack. She is my step mom who was married to my real dad before he died.
But, I have a whole other family. My real mom called me as I said early on Saturday Morning saying that her Dad, my grandpa, was in the hospital after having a heart attack. He died later that day.
My mom's husband is showing early signs of Alzheimers and is not allowed to be left alone, because he tries to get in their vehicles and drive, and he is no longer able to drive because he gets confused by the street names.

Tuvalu consists of many tiny islands. The land is barely higher than the sea level and very narrow. It’s only 5 steps form one end to the other end at the narrowest part.

A new day, a new challenge. This can apply to anyone, anywhere. But how many people get to include frog rescue from schoolteachers in their daily challenges? It seems to be a simple concept. To go to school you need yourself, your clothes, your homework and NOTHING else. Why can't my kids get it? I've had to go get frogs, game systems, a TV for cripes sake! (just a little one, but still) It drives me crazy to have to say over and over: Don't DO that! I have six children. What was I thinking? Pfft. That's an easy one, I wasn't. Something must have happened and I missed it.
When I can back on line last evening (about 5-8 hours ahead of the
