RECIPE INGREDIENTS1 (9 x 13) inch chocolate cake5 tbsp. flour1 c. milk1 c. sugar1/2 tsp. salt1/2 c. vegetable shortening1 tsp. vanillaRECIPE METHODBake cake and cool. Mix flour and milk. Cook over low heat until thick, remove from heat and cool. Place shortening, butter, salt and vanilla in mixing bowl and mix. Add cooled flour and milk mixture and beat at high speed until filling is like whipped cream. Cut cooled cake in half lengthwise and put on filling. Place top back on and frost with favorite icing.

RECIPE INGREDIENTS4 c. rhubarb3/4 c. sugar1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello1 yellow or white cake mixRECIPE METHODCut rhubarb into small pieces. Put rhubarb in bottom of pan. Evenly spread the sugar over the rhubarb. Spread Jello over the top of the sugar. Melt 1/3 cup butter, drizzle over cake mix: 1 cup water, pour over cake mix and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

RECIPE INGREDIENTS2 c. fine crumbs1/3 c. plus 1 tbsp. butter1/4 c. sugar2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese5 eggs1 c. sugar1 1/2 tsp. vanilla1/2 pt. sour cream6 tbsp. sugar1 1/2 tsp. vanillaRECIPE METHODCombine "crumbs" (graham cracker or cookies), butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Pack into bottom of springform pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes. Gently mix cream cheese and eggs. Beat after adding eggs individually. Slowly add 1 cup sugar and vanilla. Pour into pan. Bake 60 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Then combine sour cream, 6 tablespoons sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla. Top with mixture. Bake at 300 degrees for 15 minutes longer. Allow to cool slowly at room temperature and then refrigerate. Remove springform pan sides. Enjoy!

Brown in oil in skillet. Put roast in crock pot, add water and vinegar. Sprinkle dill weed over meat, then add potatoes, carrots, onion, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours or high for 6 hours. To make gravy, pour off 3 tbsp. drippings, add flour and heat. Measure rest of drippings, add water to make 1 cup. Add to flour mixture and heat for 1 minute, stirring constantly.Add 1 cup sour cream and dill seed. Heat to boiling.

Blend. Pour into a medium saucepan. Add the cayenne, salt, and tomato paste. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 to 10 minutes. Place 1/3 of the tortillas in the bottom of the crock pot. Spoon over 1/3 of the ground beef, 1/3 of the sauce, and 1/3 of the cheddar in layers. Repeateach layer twice more. Cover. Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Yields 6 servings.

Combine meat, onion, rice, egg, salt, pepper and paprika. Drain cabbage and remove leaves, cutting off the thick end of the stem. Put about two tablespoons of filling on a leaf. Fold sides in and roll. Place seam side down in a slow cooker. Spread sauerkraut on top. Add tomato sauce and water. Cook on low six to eight hours. Remove rolls, blend sour cream with sauce and serve with cabbage rolls.

Should be mostly done when you get back home. Prepare some rice to spoon over. After you start the rice put bean sprouts in the crock pot and mix up. When the rice is done, the chow mein is done. Debone chicken and mix back in. Serve over the rice. Serves 4.
