Mandy Moore on HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER 2007-08-22 22:49:23 MandyMoore
will make an appearance on the third season premiere of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER, September 24th 8pm on CBS.
This is what we can expect for the first episode: When Robin shows up with an Argentinean Adonis by her side, Ted decides he is ready to hit the town with Barney and his performance is legen…wait for it…dary!
Oh how I miss How I Met Your Mother, it’s one of the shows that makes me laugh the most and one of the only sitcoms I watch, plus I love Mandy Moore

Watch K-VILLE Pilot Episode 2007-08-22 19:02:37
Can’t wait to check out some of the new pilots starting this fall, here is your chance to check out the pilot of FOX’s new show K-VILLE.
I personally haven’t seen the pilot yet, but I’m not sure if K-Ville is a show that I would watch regularly. I’ll make a final decision once I have seen the pilot.
K-Ville - From writer and executive producer Jonathan Lisco (“NYPD Blue,” “The District”) comes K-VILLE, a heroic police drama set – and filmed – in New Orleans. Two years after Katrina, parts of the city are still in chaos, but hope has emerged. Battling an upsurge of violence, understaffing of police forces and a lack of crime labs and other facilities, the cops who remain in the New Orleans Police Department have courage to burn and a passion to reclaim and rebuild their city.
Premieres September 17th at 9pm on FOX

On Tonight, Wednesday 7/22: LAST COMIC STANDING, that’s about it. 2007-08-22 10:34:48 When I woke up this morning I was so excited because it was Wednesday
, but then I realized, no So You Think You Can Dance tonight, what am I gonna do? High School Musical 2 it is…
LAST COMIC STANDING - 9pm NBC
More comics face off tonight in the quest to become the Last Comic Standing. I miss Jay Mohr, I think I liked the show better when he was doing it. Some of the comics are funny, but none of them stand out to me so far.

A few Promos: HEROES, UGLY BETTY, and MOONLIGHT 2007-08-22 01:42:27 Promos are showing up left and right, this can only mean one thing: Fall is almost here!
HEROES - New promo for Season 2 of Heroes. I love these types of promos (even though they don’t really show anything).
UGLY BETTY - A cute music video for season 2 of Ugly Betty. Again not much to see, but I just can’t wait to see the new adventures of Betty. I actually like the song they used by Mika. You can get the non-Ugly Betty version called “Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)” on
MOONLIGHT - New revamped promo. Nice. I just wish they had shown some of the new cast; we heard so much about them. I also notice that CBS is trying to promote this show as best as it can to appeal to as many people as possible. I have been excited about Moonlight since the first time I realized who the main actor was, Alex O’Loughlin. He just made an impression the first time I saw him in the movie “The Invisible.” I hope Moonlight lives up to its potential, especial
ARMY WIVES Finale and Midnight Hour 2007-08-29 01:18:58
Holy crap, ARMY WIVES finale was crazy. I hate them so much for doing this to me. How could they end it like that? It’s such a good show and I am totally hooked now. How will I wait until next summer to find out what happens? You guys really need to rent the season when it comes out if you haven’t watched Army Wives yet.
In addition to a great season finale episode, one of my favorite song of the moment was playing towards the end when all the soldiers get on the plane. It’s a song called “Running Away” from Midnight Hour that you might have heard on Ghost Whisperer as well. I absolutely love it and could listen to it all day. So far they haven’t released the song, but I hope they do soon because I need to listen to it in my car.
You can listen to “Running Away” from Midnight Hour below. Hope you enjoy it.

Fall 2007 TV Preview: NASHVILLE on FOX 2007-08-28 16:17:58
Nashville - Starts September 14th on FOX at 9pm
Plot: The show follows a diverse and vibrant young cast perched on the cusp of achieving their greatest successes in a town that can make you or break you.
Daemon’s TV Review: To be honest, I don’t think this show is going to last, but I kind of want to watch it, especially after watching the clip below. It might be fun, plus I do enjoy country music. Although, if it’s too much like those other reality shows like The Hills and I can’t remember another that’s sort of like that, my watching Nashville will be over. I cannot stand that type of reality show.

Fall 2007 TV Preview: KITCHEN NIGHTMARES on FOX 2007-08-28 16:13:50
Kitchen Nightmares - Starts September 19th on FOX at 9pm
Plot: The star of the highly rated culinary boot camp "Hell’s Kitchen" returns to FOX with another sizzling unscripted series. This time, Chef Ramsay hits the road, in each episode tackling a restaurant in crisis and exposing the stressful realities of trying to run a successful food business.
Daemon’s TV Review: We all know I like Chef Ramsay and enjoy his “Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares” show on BBC. Well that show is coming to America and you know I will tune in. Although I can only imagine there will be more screaming in the American version…

Fall 2007 TV Preview: K-VILLE on FOX 2007-08-28 15:58:52
K-Ville - Starts September 17th on FOX at 9pm
Plot: Two years after Katrina, parts of the city are still in chaos, but hope has emerged. Battling an upsurge of violence, understaffing of police forces and a lack of crime labs and other facilities, the cops who remain in the New Orleans Police Department have courage to burn and a passion to reclaim and rebuild their city.
Daemon’s TV Review: I am not too excited about K-Ville but I am curious to watch the pilot. The previews don’t make it look like something I would like, but then again I thought the same thing about Friday Night Lights and boy was I wrong. This is why I will give K-Ville the chance to surprise me. We’ll have to wait for the final decision.

Fall 2007 TV Preview: BACK TO YOU on FOX 2007-08-28 15:55:53
Back To You - Starts September 19th on FOX at 8pm
Plot: In the ‘90s, the local TV news scene in Pittsburgh was dominated by one team: Chuck Darling and Kelly Carr. They had that elusive quality all news teams need: chemistry … at least on-screen. Off-screen, Chuck was a bit of a self-centered womanizer, Kelly a bit of an uptight know-it-all. When Chuck grabbed the chance to move up to a larger market, no tears were shed.
But after an embarrassing on-air tirade ended up on the Internet, Chuck found himself on the downswing career-wise. He even questioned whether his lifestyle of chasing women and living in hotels was as exciting as it used to be. So when he got the call to return to Pittsburgh, to reunite with Kelly and try to take the newscast back to No. 1, it was an offer he couldn’t refuse.
Daemon’s TV Review: I’m not even going to bother watching Back To You. I do not find any of the previews funny and I have no interest in the show at all. I would not rec Read more:Preview
Fall 2007 TV Preview: WOMEN’S MURDER CLUB on ABC 2007-08-28 15:50:14
Women’s Murder Club - Starts October 12th on ABC at 9pm
Plot: Based on author James Patterson’s bestselling novels, “Women’s Murder Club” is a new one-hour drama series about four successful working women in San Francisco – Homicide Inspector Lindsay Boxer, Medical Examiner Claire Washburn, Assistant D.A. Jill Bernhardt and crime reporter Cindy Thomas – who use their expertise, their close friendship and their instincts to solve murder cases. Each a success in her own field, they work together to uncover clues to the city’s most grisly homicides.
Daemon’s TV Review: I forgot about that show, mostly because I haven’t seen anything about it except a clip when it was first presented at the upfronts. I’ll probably watch the pilot since it airs on Friday and there’s not much I watch then, but if I don’t get into it, it’s over for Women’s Murder Club.

Fall 2007 TV Preview: SAMANTHA WHO on ABC 2007-08-28 15:43:40
Samantha Who - Starts October 15th at 9:30pm
Plot: When a terrible accident leaves Samantha “Sam” Newly in a coma for eight days, she wakes up with no recollection of any past experiences, memories or events. Faced with amnesia, Sam must start over. To her dismay she discovers that she wasn’t a particularly honest, good-hearted or loving person. In fact she was self-involved, narcissistic and devoid of real relationships - essentially a bitch. Sam must now struggle with her desire to be good and her temptation to be…not so good. Finding the line between good and evil is never easy.
Daemon’s TV Review: So this is the show that changed its title like three times. I’m not sure if that’s going to help the show in any shape or form. I don’t really want to watch it. Plus it airs at the same time as Heroes and K-Ville, so that’s definitely not happening for me.

Fall 2007 TV Preview: PUSHING DAISIES on ABC 2007-08-28 15:38:25
Pushing Daisies - Starts October 3rd on ABC at 8pm
Plot: Once upon a time, a mild-mannered boy named Ned realized he could touch dead things and bring them back to life. Grown-up Ned puts his ability to good use, not only touching dead fruit and making it ripe with everlasting flavor, but working with an investigator to crack murder cases by asking the deceased to name their killers. But the tale gets complicated, as all tales do, when Ned brings his childhood sweetheart, Chuck, back from the dead and keeps her alive. Chuck encourages him to use his power to help others, instead of merely solving mysteries and collecting the rewards. Life would be perfect for Ned and Chuck, except for one cruel twist: If he ever touches her again, she’ll go back to being dead, this time for good.
Daemon’s TV Review: This is my all time top MUST-WATCH TV show this fall. If you only decide to watch one new show this fall, this is it. The last time I was excited for a show that much was for Read more:Preview
Fall 2007 TV Preview: PRIVATE PRACTICE on ABC 2007-08-28 15:31:10
Private Practice - Starts September 26th on ABC at 9pm
Plot: Addison Forbes Montgomery is a renowned surgeon. Having left behind Seattle Grace Hospital, a broken marriage with Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd, and her torn relationship with Mark “McSteamy” Sloan, Addison moves to Los Angeles for sunnier weather and happier possibilities. Addison reunites with her friends from medical school, Naomi and Sam Bennett, joining them at their chic, co-op, Oceanside Wellness Center in Santa Monica.
Daemon’s TV Review: We’ve heard about Private Practice for so long I forgot for a second that it hadn’t started yet. The “pilot” they showed on Grey’s Anatomy last season was pretty good so I’ll keep watch the first season. So far, I still like Grey’s Anatomy better.

Fall 2007 TV Preview: DIRTY SEXY MONEY on ABC 2007-08-28 15:15:20
Dirty Sexy Money - Starts September 26th on ABC at 10pm
Plot: Some people say money is the root of all evil. They may be right. Nick George’s whole life has been lived in the shadow of the Darling family, but as an adult he’s leading the perfect life as an idealistic lawyer, until his father’s suspicious death. The absurdly wealthy Darlings of New York have asked him to take over his father’s job as their personal lawyer, but the money that will allow him the freedom to be an altruistic do-gooder is only part of the picture. That same money pulls him into the dubious doings of the Darling clan. Power, privilege and family money are a volatile cocktail.
Daemon’s TV Review: I know I should want to see this, if not only for the fact that Peter Krause and Donald Sutherland are in it, but I am not too excited about Dirty Sexy Money. It just sounds like a really boring show to me. I am hoping that I am wrong on this so I’ll watch the pilot and then deci Read more:Preview
Fall 2007 TV Preview: CAVEMEN on ABC 2007-08-28 14:57:37
Cavemen - Starts October 2nd on ABC at 8pm
Plot: Cavemen is a unique buddy comedy that offers a clever twist on stereotypes and turns race relations on their head. Inspired by the popular Geico Insurance commercials, the series looks at life through the eyes of the ultimate outsiders - three modern cavemen - as they struggle to find their place in the world.
Daemon’s TV Review: I am not expecting this show to last, but I will watch the episodes that do air. It looks funny enough, but I think that they should have left the Cavemen in the Geico commercials.

Fall 2007 TV Preview: CASHMERE MAFIA on ABC 2007-08-28 14:36:43
Cashmere Mafia - Starts November 27th on ABC at 10pm
Plot: Four ambitious, sexy women who have been best friends since business school, Mia, Zoe, Juliet and Caitlin, try to have it all. They aren’t just powerful and intelligent as singular executive sensations in a man’s world; they’ve bonded into a formidable unit – a female “boys’ club” — to support and counsel each other through good times and bad. How better to climb up the corporate ladder than with your buddies at your side?
Daemon’s TV Review: This doesn’t look interesting at all. I am not even going to watch the pilot. As I mentioned previously, there are so many shows to watch this Fall that if something just doesn’t look good, I won’t even bother to watch the pilot. So no Cashmere Mafia for me.

Fall 2007 TV Preview: CARPOOLERS on ABC 2007-08-28 14:14:29
Carpoolers - Starts October 2nd on ABC at 8:30pm
Plot: Four guys who carpool to work every day come to savor their commute as the only safe time to commiserate about jobs, families – and secrets. Even though “what happens in the carpool stays in the carpool,” they’ll go beyond the boundaries of this fast-moving commuter confessional to get involved in each other’s lives and develop friendships.
Daemon’s TV Review: This could be funny. I’m going to watch the pilot and make my final decision then, but from the clip I saw, it could be an entertaining 30 minutes show.

No more NBC on iTunes 2007-08-31 23:54:35
Do you buy NBC TV shows on iTunes
? Well, not anymore you don’t, the agreement between NBC and iTunes is coming to an end. According to The New York Times, NBC Universal has decided not to renew its contract, which expires in December, with iTunes. The reason cited is the inability to agree on the price of the media offered.
Personally, I don’t really buy TV Shows on iTunes or anywhere else for that matter. I’d rather buy the DVDs, mostly because I like to watch them on my TV and since you can’t burn the videos downloaded on iTunes, that just doesn’t work for me. Having said that, I think this is a very bad move from NBC. They are giving up on one of their best ways to advertise new shows to the public. How many people discovered some of their favorite shows because of iTunes?
The only way for NBC to be successful if they want to sell their videos themselves would be to create a very easy interface a la iTunes, have the same prices or lower, and for the
Nothing to watch and a blast from the past 2007-08-31 14:28:46
Is it me or does it feel like there is nothing to watch
on TV right now? I look at my DVR but there is just nothing on it except a few movies here and there, which I am mostly done watching. It’s probably going to keep on being pretty empty until Fall TV shows start.
Why am I talking about this? I am getting there. Since I didn’t have anything to watch last night on my DVR, I decided to flip through the movie channels. And then a movie that made a big impact on me when it came out popped up: SCREAM.
I had to watch it, if not only for the fact that Jake Green Skeet Ulrich is in it. Young Skeet Ulrich who made such a big impression on me when I first watched Scream. Seriously, I memorized so many lines from that movie, I loved it.
After watching it again last night, let me tell you, it’s still as good as the first time I watched it. How genius was it to (and if you haven’t seen the movie yet - SPOILERS - but seriously though who hasn’t seen Scream?) hav Read more:Nothing
