Interview: JAIMIE GOODWIN from “So You Think You Can Dance” Top 10 2007-07-30 16:55:07
Finally, here it is, my interview with Jaimie Goodwin who was eliminated last Thursday on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.
Jaimie Goodwin has been trained in many different styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary and more.
One of Jaimie’s aspirations is is to write a book about her mother’s struggle with cancer and publish it in order to help raise funds and awareness for breast cancer.
It was a real pleasure for me to speak with Jaimie, who is one of the most beautiful dancers on the show. I was really impressed by her uplifting attitude, even though she had just been eliminated. She was one of the nicest people I got the pleasure to talk to. Her cheerfulness even rubbed off on Kameron with whom I also talked. Finally, I would like to say that what most impressed me about Jaimie is that she really is exactly like what we saw on TV. There is no act, it’s all real, she really is that sweet.
Moving on to the interview:

KYLE XY “What’s The Frequency, Kyle?” - 8pm ABC Family
What a better way to start the week again than with another episode of Kyle XY, and after seeing Matt Dallas at Comic Con, it’s even more exciting, but more on that later.
HEARTLAND “A Beautiful Day” - 8pm TNT
I don’t have much to say about Hearland, I’m almost thinking of giving it up but since it’s almost the end of summer, maybe I’ll stick it through. We’ll see how I feel next week…

Another Greek episode tonight, is another reason to be excited it’s Monday

Daemon’s TV at Comic Con 2007 - Last Day 2007-07-29 23:38:16 Wow, this trip was exhausting, but really great. During my last day, I was able to attend THE 4400 panel and JERICHO panel.
Both of them were fun and since they were in a smaller room, I was really close to the stage, AND I even got some footage from both panel, so keep your eye out for it.
Starting tomorrow I will be doing big recaps of every panel I attended which include: Lost (already did that one, maybe I’ll add some pictures), Reaper, Bionic Woman, Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, The 4400, and Jericho. More pictures too.
Since each panel was about an hour long, it might take some time to put everything together so bear with me and if there are any specific panel you would like me to talk about first, feel free to let me know.
For now, enjoy some more pictures in the upcoming post.
Oh and yeah, in the coming week I will have a surprise for you guys so stay tuned.

THE 4400 - Comic Con 2007 Panel Report 2007-08-03 01:18:59
Click on the image for a bigger version.
Here it is, my long awaited recap of THE 4400 Panel
at Comic
Con 2007.
I actually got there pretty early and got to be close to the stage. It’s just nice to be able to actually see everything that is going on with the panel.
Moving on to the panel:
First, the moderator introduced the panel:
Craig Sweeny (Writer and Producer)
Jeffrey Combs (Kevin Burkhoff)
Jenni Baird (Meghan Doyle)
Ira Behr (Executive Producer)
Conchita Campbell (Maia Rutledge)
Megalyn Echikunwoke (Isabelle Tyler)
First they started talking about Promicin and the big campaign that came out of it with the famous tagline “Would you take the shot?”
The moderator asks Jeffrey Combs if he would take the shot, he says “I already did.” During this season his character, Kevin, is working on improving the odds of taking the promicin shot. They actually showed a clip about it, but more about that later.
Jenni Baird asks the audience who would take the sh Read more:Comic Con
Superman joins SMALLVILLE 2007-08-02 13:14:57
Dean Cain (Superman
in “Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman”) will guest star in SMALLVILLE’s seventh season as Dr. Curtis Knox, a villainous killer.
Dean Cain will appear in the fourth episode of the season.
Oh sweet memories… I was such a big fan of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. I used to watch it every week with my mom. It seems like such a long time ago. At least it will be a blast from the past to watch Dean Cain in Smallville.
The seventh season of Smallville starts on September 27th, and I cannot wait to find out if Lana will be back.

THE CLOSER gets a fourth season 2007-08-02 13:00:56
THE CLOSER has been renewed for a fourth
season which will air during Summer 2008.
Even though I don’t follow the show religiously, it pulls me in when I do watch it. Kyra Sedgwick is, and I repeat it, brilliant. She plays Deputy Police Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson perfectly. I admire her so much. And we’ll get more of her next summer (it seems so far away)>

Blair Underwood joins DIRTY SEXY MONEY 2007-08-02 12:41:24 BlairUnderwood
(”Sex and the City“) will join the cast of ABC’s new drama series DIRTY SEXY MONEY. Underwood will make his debut as a series regular later this season in a multiple episode story arc, playing savvy, visionary billionaire Simon Elder, a potential nemesis of the Darling family.
I have seen a preview from Dirty Sexy Money and although I love Peter Krause, I am not sure if the show is going to last. It doesn’t feel like it’s that original. Of course, sometimes after watching the full episode I change my mind.

RAMSAY’S KITCHEN NIGHTMARES “Morgan’s” - 8pm BBC America
Chef Ramsey helps another restaurant doomed to close. It always amazes me sometimes how the owners don’t always listen to him when he tries to help them. I always think, “obviously what you are doing is not working, so why not listen to him?!!!”

BURN NOTICE “Unpaid Debts” - 10pm USA
Michael is back on another case tonight. In addition, he is still looking into who sent him his burn notice (I wonder if he’s ever going to find out).
MAD MEN “Marriage of Figaro” - 10pm AMC
I haven’t seen the pilot yet, and have to get on that. It looks like a good show though.

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE - Top 8 Review 2007-08-02 00:46:34 Another night of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. At this point we know all the dancers are good, it all comes down to who performs better and who America likes the most.
Personally, my top dancers are Sara, Pasha and Sabra (not in any order).
Moving on to the review:
SARA VON GILLEM & DANNY TIDWELL - Argentine Tango
Choreography: Alex DaSilva
Music: “Whatever Lola Wants” (Gotan Project Remix) by Sarah Vaughan & Gotan Project get it on
Thoughts: It liked it. I do think that this might have been the first guy that didn’t have that much chemistry with Sara. Other than that, I wasn’t too excited. Rating: 3/4
Video:
Danny and Sara Argentine Tango
LAUREN GOTTLEIB & DOMINIC SANDOVAL - Krump
Choreography: Lil’ C
Music: “I Get Money” by 50 Cent
Thoughts: So…. that wasn’t really krumping, it was hip hop with some krump moves. Question: Why do they even put krumping if they’re not gonna go all the way. And the judges can&
THE NINE returns tonight 2007-08-01 16:56:49
The final six episodes of the cancelled show THE NINE will start airing tonight on ABC at 10pm.
Even though, it wasn’t my favorite show to watch, I quite enjoyed each episode. I know there will be no resolution to the storyline, but I still plan on tuning in, just to get to see the rest of what was shot.
But seriously, I never thought we were going to see the end of this show. The mere fact that the hold-up lasted 52 hours was already a hint that no end was in view. Even if we got to see an hour of the hold-up each episode, it would have required 52 episodes to finish the story. To make matters worse, they only showed us a few minutes every episodes. This time I actually blame the creators of the show as well as ABC for the non-conclusion they leave us with. At least Reunion only needed 20 episodes to wrap it up.

LOST - Comic Con 2007 Video 2007-08-01 01:57:57 Here is the video that was shown during the LOST Panel at Comic

To be honest, I have never been really excited for the orientation films. I just don’t feel they explain that much. So here is one more to add to the number of questions we have about Lost. Oh and February seems so far.

ON THE LOT - 8pm FOX
We are getting closer and closer to the end. Tonight
another director will get eliminated and the remaining five will screen their short films. So far my favorites are still in the competition, let’s hope it stays that way.
EUREKA “Games People Play” - 9pm Sci-Fi
Oh yay! I just remembered Eureka is on, this is going to be a good day! I wish I had been able to go to the Comic Con panel for Eureka, oh well, next year…

Interview: DOMINIC SANDOVAL from “So You Think You Can Dance” Top 8 2007-08-04 01:30:59
I got to speak with Dominic Sandoval today who was eliminated Thursday night on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE.
Dominic is also known by his nickname D-Trix. He categorizes his style of dancing as B-boy/Freestyle urban dancer.
It was really nice to speak to Dominic, especially since he has impressed me so much throughout the competition. Every week he grew more and more on me. The impression I got from talking to him is that he is a very smart and down-to-earth person. He doesn’t seem to have any illusions about what being on “So You Think You Can Dance
” means, and I think he has the right attitude to move forward with his career. I wish him the best of luck.
Moving on to the interview:
Daemon’s TV: Hi Dominic. How are you?
Dominic Sandoval: I’m doing good, how are you?
D: The first question I want to ask you is, what’s up with you and Cat Deeley?
D: (Laughs) It’s funny you bring that up. Me and Cat, we have a professional relationship, but beh

I apologize for some of the shakiness. I was actually filming with my camera (not video camera) and since it’s so light, it was really hard to keep it steady. I did the best I could .

Matt Dallas shows his belly button at Comic Con 2007 2007-08-03 12:44:32 I found this video of the KYLE XY Comic
Con 2007 panel where Matt Dallas
shows his bellybutton
to the crowd who starts screaming even louder. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to go to the panel due to the fact that it was during the Heroes Panel (and I had such good seats there was no way I was gonna give them up).

On Tonight, Friday 8/3: FALLEN, PSYCH, and more… 2007-08-03 12:32:57
FALLEN “Part One” - 8PM ABC Family
Don’t miss part one of Fallen tonight. You won’t regret it. I saw part one when ABC Family first aired it in 2006 and was so upset that I’d have to wait to see what happened next. Tonight
will be a memory boost, because honestly I only remember bits and pieces of it. Oh and just a heads up, I will be having a Fallen contest after the Kyle XY Contest I’m having currently, and will be giving away cards for the promotion of Fallen at Comic Con 2007 which include Temporary Tatoos on the back inspired by the show, pretty cool.
MONK “Mr. Monk And The Bad Girlfriend” - 9PM USA
Crazy Mr. Monk is back tonight. I just love it when he says, “Here is what happened…”

Opening Number with the top 8 - Props to Shane Sparks, that choreography was brilliant. And Lauren, holy crap, she was so good, I absolutely loved her. If she had danced like that every week she might have been one of my favorites. I totally believed her in her role. She is stepping up.

Week 7 Opening Dance
Tonight everyone is dancing a solo no matter if they are in the bottom two. At this point I just feel everybody is at the same level technically, it’s just a matter of personal taste, so here it goes…

SARA VON GILLEM - I just love Sara and have loved her since top 20. She can adapt to anything you throw at her. She truly is a role model for me (and yes I am still working on those push-ups…).
