Face tracking 2007-07-18 05:25:00 I used the same algorithm of face detection to a real time application for face tracking using a webcam. The video frame rate is 30 frame per second and I treated 6 frames per second. Result are not good enough. The reasons can be:Low resolution of my webcam. Blog page size 2007-07-11 11:29:00 Today, while browsing blogs, I noticed that a blogger is presenting all his posts since december 2006 in the first page. Loading the page using a DSL connection took me 30 seconds. What about a dial up connection? The size of the welcome page is 288 kb wheras the first page shouldn't exceed 100 kb (50 to 100 kb).I recommand that bloggers configure their blogs in order to display only the 5 to 10 last posts. The other pages can be accessed using archive links. In addition, picture in blogs are displayed in small resolutions so high compression rates are welcome.

Au départ, j'ai été satisfait par ce que présentait canalblog. Mais depuis que j'ai quitté canalblog, j'ai testé plusieurs services de statistques de sites. J'ai rencontré plusieurs problèmes comme le manque d'informations, la mise à jour en différé et même les popups porno.J'ai découvert récemment google Analytics
qui a l'air très bien. En effet, il présente un jeu très riche de fonctionnalités. En plus, ce service gratuit est très discret. Google
