How to choose : "No to All"
2007-07-02 15:50:00
I would like to share a small tip about copying or replacing files.. Whenever you have to copy or replace something in Windows, Windows will ask you whether you want to replace the duplicate file or not, the dialog box has only four options available:Feel frustrated about not having "No to All"? Well .. press shift key and then click on No. This will react as “No to All”. This will save you some time from clicking "No" on the confirmation messages again and again.P.S. If you are using Windows Vista, you get different dialog box and this problem have been gone already there.

Domain Names : Fundamental of success ?
2007-07-01 13:31:00
Well as some of you might notice I have been bloggin with the blogspot.com for quite a long time and then I decided to go with my own domain name. Why? Because I feel that a good domain name can help an online business become more visible, credible and accessible. And it can also help a person make a fortune. While finding one was very prohibitive, we can be a part of the gold rush, too.Let's do the math! Over 23 million ".com" names have been registered, and over 22 thousand are being purchased every day. It means that you're more likely to win the lottery than find a good domain name. Here is a list of record selling domain name:- business.com sold for $7.5 million- asseenontv.com sold for $5 million- altavista.com sold for $3.3 million- loans.com sold for $3 million- CreditCards.com sold for $2.75 million- autos.com sold for $2.2 million- Men.com sold for $1.3 million- wallstreet.com sold for $1.03 million- forsalebyowner.com sold for $835,000- drugs.com sold for $825,000- cinema.c

Act like a geek!
2007-06-28 18:45:00
The easiest way to get someone's attention is to yell at them. Or throw something. The geek way to get someone's attention is to write your message in lights. Well that is the quotation for WavyWand. Yeah, that's right, we are not very far away from actually seeing the laser knife just like in the star war. The very cool feature of WavyWand is that it comes with the USB cable and software, in which you can program any animations or pictures or wordarts or many more. The sky is the limit. But you need your mind wide open.Oh! I almost forgot. No more yelling! :)

Yahoo! Unlimited mail storage vs Gmail!
2007-06-24 09:02:00
We all know that Yahoo ! mail become unlimited, but still there is 10 MB attachment limit. How genius and innovative Google responds to this? Well, 20 MB attachment size. As most email providers limit message size by 10 MB, if you want to send 20 MB message, you don't have much choice left. The way Google respond left Yahoo! really looks bad. Unless Yahoo! or any other company can come up with innovations, Google will surely rule for a long long time. What a nice respond GOOGLE!

I know this is gonna be old news, but I can't control myself to complain about Safari buggyness on Windows . Safari really sucks, well at least on Windows PC(s). I installed it on my WinXP SP2 and tried to make a blog post about it. After I logon to blogger.com and I clicked to create post, Bang! Safari close with no reason or whatsoever. I tried reinstall many times, same problem. I am aware that safari is, in fact, only in beta. But can't even write a blog post on blogger.com should be in alpha version.

When Gmail will reach 3 GB?
2006-02-10 06:15:00
I just found this article very interesting. This blogger point out that Google is just playing number game. The current rate of increase is at an average of 4 bytes per second Now, we’re ready to do some basic math:4 bytes / sec => 240 bytes / min => 14400 bytes / hr => 345600 bytes / dayIf our goal is 3 GB and we’re going at a rate of 345600 bytes / day, it would take:X days = 3,221,225,472 / 345,600 bytes~ 9320 days => 25 years to go from 1 byte to 3 gigabytesOk, now we’re already at 2,693,144,200 bytes as of 4:30 PST, Feb 9, 2006. We’re now 528,081,272 bytes (503 MB) away from our 3 GB goal. So, let’s count how many days are left for GMail to become 3 GB.X days = 528,081,272 / 345,600 bytes = 1528 days => 4 yearsBecause of counter running at Gmail website, we all think that we will get 3 GB soon, but in reality, it would take 4 years to come. Yes, that's true 4 years.

Google.cn being blocked by China's government
2006-02-03 20:08:00
Google's China news can't stop at the moment. Since Google's controversial decision to launch Google.cn with results being filter, news are being pop up day after day.If this news is true, this might be a big crush between Google and China Goverment. Tests on a Shanghai-based trace-route server, located at http://www.linkwan.com/vr2/, indicated that the site was being blocked at the government-operated backbone server. The analysis from the trace route said 'IP packets are being lost past network CHINANET backbone network at hop 4.' The same message is displayed when the test is run on websites that are blocked by the government, such as the BBC's news website. A trace route could not be conducted from Beijing, although attempts to load the site in an internet cafe resulted in 'time out' errors. Source : Forbes.com

Google's explanation for its china service
2006-01-28 06:19:00
Well, first when I found out on the net that Google is giving limited ( filtered ) search results in China, I am really suprised. Why? So many whys are going on around the globe. But I read on Google's official blog, it says:Our continued engagement with China is the best (perhaps only) way for Google to help bring the tremendous benefits of universal information access to all our users there. As of now, that's the way it is, that's the way we ( all people on earth ) have to be. But one day, I hope Chinese Government may change their decisions for the sake of their people and any search engine robots could freely crawl everywhere. Until then, I have to agree with what Google said because it is very reasonable:Filtering our search results clearly compromises our mission. Failing to offer Google search at all to a fifth of the world's population, however, does so far more severely. Whether our critics agree with our decision or not, due to the severe quality problems faced by users tr

Improve your Video Streaming Experience
2007-08-03 10:06:00
I've found the program called "Speedbit Video Accelator". It supports the following video networks:How it's works? With SpeedBit Video Accelerator installed, your browser’s connection to specific streaming video server is being rerouted through the Video Accelerator Daemon. Unlike the normal browser connection, the Daemon uses a unique patent pending technology, that substitutes the single connection with a sophisticated multi-connection algorithm. The end result is an (up to) 5 times faster connection, which handles the cache buffering (the “preloading” of the movie) much more efficiently.BtN's Tips : Even though they don't disclose their technology, I've observed that this program makes several connection to the video that you're playing. For my case, without this program, I can see only three connections to dailymotion, but after using this program, it makes 8 connections. By this way, it accelerates the video. So, if your connection is dialup, using this program won't m
