Will you eat this ? 2007-09-15 01:56:00 WTF is this ? I bet thats the same thing you thought of when you saw the pic. Last week , while Sayang and I were jalan jalaning in Plaza Damas, we stumbled upon Eric Tsang's Deli / Cafe place. We walked past the restaurant and saw that thing in an aquarium..Will you eat that something that looks like a LC ? So the hokkien fella sure ask wan, "Hami LC lai geh ? " ROFL !!!
Bavarian Bierhaus @ The Curve 2007-09-10 11:16:00 This must be the latest addition to The Curve
's already long list of reastaurants. Althought I am not sure if the Apartment is newer or not, we noticed this place the day we went buy donuts at the Big Apple. We started of with Salad, anticipating a big serving of knuckles, Sayang and I shared the salad. It was something new for me, as this salad has got cripsy pork skin ( I think) in it, and the rest of the vege tasted like traditional ulam... kekekek.. but of course you wont find ulam with pork next to it la...The knuckle came and I thought, I might have seen a bigger serving of pork knuckle somewhere before (Deutche Haus, Changkat Bkt Bintang to be exact). Size abit smaller, but tastewise, I think its consistent with the other outlets that sell them pork knuckles. I haven't tried Mr Ho's version of this dish though. Luckilly we had Ze Beers, Paulaner. One pint of dark Paulaner, and one pint of Light Paulaner. The Beers were excellent mine you, and won't mind returnin
A Quick Dinner @ Checkers, Bukit Damansara 2007-09-10 10:03:00 Usually I will post this like about a month later. But since Sayang oredi posted half the review for me, I might as well do this post, and post the rest later. Sigh! This is the case of spending too much time eating, and less time blogging (muahahaha). Its funny, we were wondering what to eat as we left gym, and for reasons known only to God, we decided to give Checkers a try. Ecthelli, we've been wanting to come to Checkers, we've been planning, we've been trying and but we've always taken the rain check. Without making a reservation,, we decided to try our luck. We walked into a half full restaurant, and it was only 715pm (please make reservations whenever you come, tel number = 603-20953304, its a blardy small restaurant).Ok, we walked in, and asked, got table for two ah ?The boss hesitated awhile, and said, I think we are full , but if you don't mind sitting outside, and leave by 830 ? He smiled...Ok outside la, no problems...He recommended us the Porktail Soup, but of Read more: Quick

Oh I Finally Did It 2007-09-10 06:40:00 I have been wanting to do this, but did not get myself to do it until just now.I finally put up a blogroll of most of the influential food bloggers list, and will continue to update them as I meet more of you guys. Its essentially gonna be easier for me in the future to search for references, and so forth.A lot of you take very good pictures of food.A big thanks to Tankiasu and Joe, must give credit to you , I pinched most of the links from your blogs.. :D Read more: Finally
Ikan Bakar @ Gerai Seri Menanti , Jalan Bellamy 2007-09-09 13:25:00 A lot of people must have been to this place. Because everytime I come here, the stalls are always jam packed. Although its only my second time here, I really wondered, whats so nice about this place? The stall is always crowded during lunch time, all three of them, there is no adequate parking, I mean this place is just not cut out for the kind of crowd that Seri Menanti is pulling in.is just amazing, to watch the amount fish getting grilled at one time over here. It's gotta be a stall that sells the most amount of grill fish in a day. You see the amount of people queuing up for the fish, your expectations floated.I don't see what makes this place so popular, the price is a little steep for a hot , smoky shack kinda restaurant, the fish tastes so - so, and yet you see so many people trying their food... [scratch head].As for the food, I find it just average. The fish they serve are not of any special kind, nor is it of good quality. What do they serve there ? Ikan terubuk, Read more: Bellamy
Restoran Sin Hoi Kee @ Kuala Lipis 2007-09-06 13:27:00 This has got to be one of my favorite places to eat whenever I come down to Kuala Lipis. Unfortunately for me, I am with my malay colleague or with a customer, most of the time I am in Lipis. As such, opportunities to eat here comes only once in a blue moon. To get there, just drive into Kuala Lipis town and you will see it. Its right in the middle of town. Or if you still need help, just drive to a place called Centerpoint, and ask for KFC.What's special over here ?They have got stock for Wild boar meat, everyday of the year. Unlike restaurants in KL, they have a steady supply of this exotic meat. That night we ordered, Black Pepper Wild Boar Meat. Of course you can always ask for Spring Onion and Ginger Wild Boar Meat, or their specialty, Wild Boar Curry ( I have tasted all of them, and they all turned out very nice.)I do not know how they prepare it, but the meat is always well cooked (important), and tender.Usually when we eat here, its only a colleague and myself, just two
Chicken Rice (HALAL) @ Spices of Malaysia, The Mines 2007-09-05 20:50:00 I went back to Spices
of Malaysia
again. Its a food court located in Mines Shopping Fair@ Sungai Besi, Sri Kembangan, Balakong. a newly renovated food court, with nice new furniture, adequate air conditioning. Important thing is that , it also has got a lot more space, and definitely looks a lot cleaner than the old foodcourt, we used to have to wait for a table now there is ample seats. You can say, its a world apart comparing the new and the old.So what do you do when you see a few chicks hanging around ? For me, my head will turn and then I will go check them out. Wakakaka, you see those chicks hanging around below , lol ! Its a halal chicken rice stall, which means their char siu is also made of chicken. Their siu yuk substitute is Fried Chicken
.I circled the stalls of Spices, and in the end I came back to this one. The char siu chicken, looked very inviting. The "fried chicken" rice, also looks damn good. When I walked past, those chicks were practically calling out to
Dinner with Sifu Looi @ DU Kopitiam 2007-09-04 13:29:00 It was Tuesday night, we went for Shade's class in Uptown . After class we asked, where to find food over here ? He suggested to us the Kopitiam right next to RHB Bank in Damansara Utama (Uptown). In case you were wondering you might have seen this guy before, click on the video belowHe is a Group X Instructor who teaches RPM, Body Attack, Body Combat, and err... Body Jam got ah ? He has been doing quite a few demos lately at various shopping complexes, and I managed to capture a short video of him. Although he hardly blogs nowadays, here is a link to his blog. What does an Instructor eat after Class ?Fish Head Bee Hoon, and Lo Bak ( I think that's what it is called). I found the lo bak the stuff on top to be quite okay, nothing to complain really. Alvin also recommended the Char Koay Teo, which was done Penang Style. So what does the students eat ?Its kinda weird because I remember he told me, on Tuesdays he's got 3 classes. Combat is in fact immediately after Body Attac Read more: Dinner
Today's Lunch Idea (Tapao from Jusco Selatan) 2007-09-03 02:21:00 this made my head turn, lolIts just one of those days, you really have no mood to eat nearby your office. So for lunch I took a 5 minute drive (still nearby) to Jusco Selatan to look for food. Its quite common for office folks to just go tapao food from a food stall, because they lazy to eat outside, or because its smoky, and stuff y in some kopitiams. So instead of walking out and bringing food back, why not just buy food from a Supermarket and bring it back and enjoy them in the comfort of your office (provided ur boss allows it lo). Teriyaki Roasted Whole Chicken, Guava Juice and One Big Apple, all for only RM14. Luckilly for me, by the time I got back, my boss was still around in the office, so he shared the whole chicken with me. Wakakaka, otherwise sure tak jadi want to eat healthy. To me that was a good lunch, I had my proteins, some fats, and a healthy dose of Vitamin C to help combat my sore throat. :D Read more: Today

Peter's Fish Market @ Surfer's Paradise, Gold Coast 2007-10-12 00:34:00 That day after we finished a rushed visit at Seaworld, my cousin brought us to try out this fish market, practically just a short drive from Seaworld. It was my first experience of such kind, ie visiting a fish market and ordering fresh seafood from it.So I took the Nikon D80 (one magnificent piece of equipment) and started snapping. Just set it on Shutter Priority and Auto WB, everything seems to jalan fine. Unlike the E300 I am using right now. Ok, enough bitching, back to the food.I found this place quite an experience, because the fish they have, I don't remember seeing them anywhere before. Then they have cooked prawns (or they actually call them shrimps) not sure.Wow, that was a nice lobster sitting around in the ice, waiting to be bought. Anyone know where in Malaysia got fish market like this ?After looking at the seafood, we went for the real cooked stuff. We ordered fish and chips, fried calamari and chips for lunch. The servings were quite moderate, not really huge Read more: Peter

Marmalade Cafe @ Surfer's Paradise, Gold Coast 2007-10-09 20:10:00 I think I was under the impression that in Australia, everything closes at 5pm. I guess in Gold Coast
, this doesn't apply. We made our way back from Brisbane Gold Coast after sundown. The weather has gone from nice and warm to cool and dry ( lovely weather of about 20C).We were to meet up with cousin's Friend , Albert. I told my cousin I wanted to try 2 things, crocodile meat, and kangarro meat. So they brought us to Marmalade
Cafe, in Chevron Renaissance. Owned by Steve and Sandy Tan, but apparently run by their Restaurant manager, Nigel. Anyways, I was quite surprised as to how the restaurants here really do it, because while we were waiting for a seat, my cousin when off to buy some wine to be consumed here. So I guess BYO is allowed. So we ordered one entree/appetizer and three mains to be shared by the four of us, while I think Albert who is native here, decided to go for some Fish Steak, didn't take a picture of his food, because his arrived last, and I think he must b Read more: Surfer

Coffee and Cake @ Kuta Cafe, Mount Coo-tha, Brisbane 2007-10-04 23:00:00 Oh dear, since we've been back, it just seem as if no work was done while I was away, and I have a pile of work on the table to attend to. So just a quick blog post.It was our first day in Brisbane
, which is about 45 minutes drive from Gold Coast. That night we came all the way up to Mount Coo-tha, a lookout location for Brisbane. The view is definitely breathtaking to say the least. The temperature was alright, but the wind was just unbearable, definitely made the coffee taste a lot better than it should. Brisbane had pretty good weather, say about 24C during the day and by night it goes to around 18C ( so nice !!). But up on the hill the wind was quite strong and wasn't dressed up to tahan the wind... so cold !! The cake was okay. We ordered it because its called Ebony & Ibory.. hmmm.. its described as a cake that has white and black chocolate. Sounded very muhibbah, thats why I chosed that cake. No complains really, and shared this with Sayang. Now we ordered the two Read more: Coffee
Yum Cha @ Zilver Seafood Restaurant, Haymarket Sydney 2007-10-15 22:27:00 We must have been driving and driving for countless of hours, that night before. We left Gold Coast after visiting Q1, and Surfer's Paradise beach. No dinner, that night, just some yucky cinnamon scones, kraft cheese and Apple Juice to get us by for the journey. So reached our hotel at about 5am, and slept like logs until about 12. The first thing on the agenda was to get some real food into our stomaches. Our cousin brought us to this "famous" place called Zilver for YUM CHA...When we arrived at the place , Haymarket, we found out that it was actually an office tower with a shopping complex kinda layout on the lower floors. It was a Saturday afternoon , and the place was virtually desserted except for the people heading towards Zilver. When we arrived there, we had to get our number and wait for a table. Really HK style, and not something we see in KL. When a table that can the number of people is available, they will call your number and lead you to your seat.We were lucky, as Read more: Sydney
Sydney Fish Market @ Sydney 2007-10-18 07:25:00 Sydney Fish Market
, is definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Australia. Not only did it open my eyes on how the Aussies ate, we , here twice. On the first day, we came to this market. You can get a variety of seafood, fresh and cooked. A list of well known seafood retailers again providing cooked and uncooked fresh seafood. The first time we came here, we picked up a nice cooked Lobster (plain), a plate of seafood platter with fish batters, fresh grilled scallops, deep fried calamari rings, deep fried prawns, oyster kilpatrick, grilled mussels, serving for two. We also got ourselves a dozen fresh oysters. So fresh, we actually watched them clean the oysters infront of us. All that for about 60 bucks total. Lets count again, Oysters (1 dozen @ $14), Lobster ( 1 @ $ 22), and Grill Platter ( $25).Another look at the huge lobster we had. I was told it was very fresh, much better than the one's Sayang had in San Francisco. To me, I really don't know how to appreciate Read more: Sydney
Ah Yip Herbal Soup @ The Mines 2007-10-25 10:35:00 NOTE: taking a break from blogging about food in Aussie. Some time back, I was walking around in Mine's Shopping Fair, and I spotted, Ah Yip's Herbal
soup. My impression of this place was not very good, because it was not a lot people in this eatery. In my mind, I whispered to myself, " must the Spices FoodCourt taking away all their customers la." Interestingly enough, they serve lots of soup over here. I told myself, must come try drink some soup. Since nowadays, I hardly eat home, and mom also hardly cook herbal soup....The first time I got there, it took me awhile to decide what I wanted to have. The menu was very informative, and it described what each soup does for your body. Improve eye sight, refurbish lungs, give energy, etc ( get the drift ?...)Cordycep Nourishing SoupSome kinda soup that nourishes your lungsSome Kinda soup that nourishes your eye, and general health..The soups price varies, depending on what you want. They have easily about 40 types of different soup
Pizza Uno @ CenterPoint, Bandar Utama 2007-10-24 12:13:00 I think we had two Pizza
s, one Caesar Salad with Smoked Chicken, and one Lasagna, the bill came up to about RM100...Caesar Salad with Smoked Chicken ...tasted quite good, but for the price? I think it was 16 bucks or something.Tropicana Pizza...26 bucks, for a super thin pizza crust, with barely any pizza sauce and very stingy amount of ingredients. Don't be fooled by the picture...it's looks better than it tastes, really. And get this, we had a seafood pizza at La Porchetta, Melbourne that was bigger, had more ingredients, definately more pizza sauce and was CHEAPER after conversion!!!You can see that they stinge on the tomato paste and the cheese . Taste wise, you might as well go order Dominoes, you won't complain too much.Lasagna...ok lar, taste wise, but heck for that small little dish, it costs 20 bucks I think.Am so disappointed with Pizza Uno...I remember when it was Pizza Italia, the portions were generous, the topings too and the price was so very reasonable. Now, they do
Pinangsia Noodles & Rosebery Martabak @ Kingsford, Sydney 2007-10-24 12:11:00 Visiting Sydney
has somehow opened my eyes, and I realized the real meaning of "multi-cultural" after visiting this city. My cousin's GF had some very good friends in Sydney, and while catching up with her friends, they also brought us to sample some very nice Indonesian style food.We met at a suburb called Kingsford. I was told that many Indonesians moved here and sort of formed a community in this part of town. As such if you go there, you will here a lot of indonesian spoken in this part of town.Ok, so we got seated down, and we were handed the Menu... whoa... in Indonesian wan, with English translations. Lovely. To tell you the truth, I don't really remember what we ordered, but one of them is this big piece of fish ball. Thats actually the size of a tennis ball. It tasted like keropok lekor. Even the chilli sauce was sweetishly spicy, very similar to the ones served with keropok lekor over here. This picture is very OOF. This bowl of noodles is filled with mushrooms, inte
Harry's Cafe De Wheels @ Haymarket, Sydney 2007-10-30 11:29:00 When we were in Sydney
, my cousin who brought us around, jalan jalan cari makan, always used the word ICON. Luckily for us, its not called IKON or something like that, but when he used the word ICON, he meant business. One of these Icons was Harry
's Cafe De Wheels
.What is the big fuss about this place. To me it looked like an oversized push cart hotdog stand. Secondly, that stall must have been there a long long time. My cousin surprised me, because we were pumping gas, and he pointed out opposite the Shell Station, "we are going to get some hotdogs over there ..." This pic is OOF, but nevermind, it. Its their trademark , Hot Dog De Wheels. The size of this hot dog is definitely bigger than the ones we get over here. Now you know the true meaning of Gwai Lou hot dog... its diameter is, if not mistaken, is about 1.5 inches, and 8 inches long... definitely can fill up anyone's tummy... It costs only 5 bucks.. cheapest food i put in my mouth since I arrived in Australi
Nasi Daging Kepala Batas @ Kafe & Restoran Tanjong (Bangi Sek9) 2007-10-29 05:08:00 I was wondering around Bangi Seksyen 8 , looking for food. As I was driving around this area, I saw a big plywood with "Nasi Daging" spray painted on it. So I followed that sign which led me to this outlet. Tanjong. I parked my car, and snapped a pic of it. Impressive sign, but location wise, you can't see this from the main road. Its just a turn off @ Bangi Seksyen 9, to the left of the main road, if you are coming from Kajang Country Heights going towards Bangi.I had a feel that this restaurant is still new, judging from plywood signs, and the barren interior of this restaurant. I walked in with my camera out, I easilly took about 10 pics of this place. The manager, did not really mind that I was taking pictures rather than ordering my food.So they have mixed rice.... curry fish head...They have curry chicken, beef....Ulam, some kinda spiced fried fish..... but I saw one banner inside this cafe, it read Nasi Daging Kepala Batas... ok I must try that...I was curious what Nas
Tony Roma's Ribs.Seafood.Steaks @ Sussex St, Sydney 2007-11-02 22:12:00 It was a full day of walking and sightseeing that day. It was the same day we went to the Sydney
Fish Market as I remembered it. After which we were dropped to go explore Darling Harbour on our own. The plan was to go get ourselves an all day pass to travel around the Harbour Area.We also visited the Sydney Aquarium , which I thought was a magnificent tourist attraction. Their Aquarium is at least twice the size of our KLCC Aquaria (which we visited after coming back from Sydney, lol ).I remembered that night, was cold, our feet were aching so much after walking for hours doing the tourist thingy (walking up and down, looking lost).... But we already made an appointment with my cousins, to meet at Tony Roma's that night. Apparently there is only one , Tony Roma, in Australia, so the Aussies have to go to Sydney to try their ribs. After ordering, the waiter walked of to put our order in and returned in a matter of minutes with this bread loaf. Dim Sum @ Seong Kee Kopitiam , Taman Connaught 2007-11-01 11:31:00 Where is a good place to take breakfast when you don't normally eat anything in the morning ? I was thinking of Amy Yip's Big Boobs Paos, so I drove down to Taman Connaught to try and get my hands on those boobs Paos. When I arrived at Seong Kee (didn't know this place was called Seong Kee, till now) I just got reminded why I have not been to this place very often. To get there in the first place, you need to maneuver your car through hap hazard parking, and hope your car do not get scratched on the way. Secondly, you will need to park your car far far away and walk in the hot sun to get to this restaurant. Alas, the si tao poh told me, Amy Yip's Paos Habis Dijual... so had to settle for something else, since I walked so far to get here , doesn't make sense to walk away right ?. Its a weekday morning, and I can't help but notice how brisk business was. One Noodle @ Kepong 2007-10-31 11:43:00 I only just realized that One Noodle
serves mostly only La Mian. We must have been to this place countless times, because it has somehow become our, anytime , eat all the time also won't get bored place. The reason is simply because they serve some pretty decent tasting noodles .One Noodle actually has got a lot of pressure to serve some pretty good food. For one, they are from the same family as KTZ, which has been serving fantastic desserts to us for a long time. Secondly, their first One Noodle in Kepong, is situated right opposite of Lim Meng Kee , Kepong who used to have a La Mian stall next to their KTZ stall in Kepong. That LMK stall actually had a La Mian Sifu making fresh la mian. Fuiyoo... pressure or not ?My sayang's first choice is always, their buckwheat la mian noodles in clear soup. We found that their soup is not heavilly masked with Ajinomoto, unlike most noodle joints. To add to that, their noodles always seem to be fresh, and have that some sor
Doyle's @ Watson Bay, Sydney 2007-11-04 18:20:00 This was the same day we spent the entire day around Sydney
Harbour. We bought an all day pass to a ferry to get us from Darling Harbour to The Rocks , and from the Rocks to some small little Island Fort (forgot its name, definitely not worth stopping), then to Sydney's Zoo (unfortunately did not spend time there, heards its a very good zoo, so I guess we will just have to content ourselves with just Zoo Negara or move down south for Singapore's zoo). From Sydney Zoo ( I think its called Taronga Zoo) the Ferry's goes off to Watson
's Bay.If you remembered my post on Sydney Fish Market, it was the same day we had our second visit there. We had our brunch there so to speak. So by the time we had a walk around Darling Harbour, caught our first ferry to The Rocks to visit the much talked about Sydney Opera House, our next stop was Watson's Bay. We were already hungry, and since we didn't get enough seafood, we had some more, this time at Doyle's.We ordered a little bit le
Ribs and Chops @ Cagayan , Centerpoint BU 2007-11-13 04:26:00 After you have tried those pork ribs made by Tony Roma's restaurant, you feel like you have just been initiated into the world of Ribs. I can now join in a rib conversation and say, "yeah, those ribs are just about as good as Tony Roma's.... " or otherwise.I remember some time back we were standing outside Cagayan's and looking through their menu outside their main entrance. We then told ourselves, okay we gonna come back and try their ribs some day. At that time we just ate at Checkers. The ribs in Cagayan come in three different sauces, and in three different sizes. It comes in , Spicy, Oriental and Classic sauces. According to him the Classic Sauce was the most popular ( I really thought he made it up). The sizes comes in 4 ribs, 6 ribs, and 8 ribs. Would have gone for 8 , but to be safe we ordered 6 , just in case not nice ma...The ribs took a little while to come, but we were okay with it. When it arrived, we noticed the ribs being accompanied by a scoop of mash potato
The burgers arent that good @ Carl's Jr - Mid Valley Branch 2007-11-16 21:51:00 Note: I am posting this review without picture because I had a bad experience. You can look at pictures of those allegedly "best and succulent" burgers from other blogs, links below at the end of the reviewNow I usually do my research before I do a review, and the first link that came up was Klue Blog. Sarah Chan, blogged a review of this Carl's Jr, and sang praises for the outlet in Sunway Pyramid. She totally loved it, like its the best freaking burger ever. I guess she's paid to do it, because I don't believe what Klue tells us nowadays - they are paid to say nice things....I was at MidValley

Pancakes On The Rocks @ The Rocks, Sydney 2007-11-15 02:10:00 We were briefed about how popular this place is even before we made our way to this restaurant. There must have been this look of disbelief showing on my face, because my cousin actually took the trouble to drive past this restaurant in the middle of a Saturday night jam (jam caused by a lot of cars trying to show off their mods, macam la 2fastnotsofurious movie like dat). Ok so we saw a long line waiting to get a seat at this Pancakes
on the Rocks
place. To be frank, when it comes to Pancakes, I am abit jakun. Huh, what ? Some joker can open up a restaurant selling just pancakes ? You see, not only does it sell pancakes (actually they also have steak, and other stuff la), it is a very very popular restaurant in Sydney
.Anyway, to cut the story short, we came back on Monday night, when the que is not that long. But still this place was packed. I mean business was brisk, no doubt about it. So we ordered this Pancake, Thai Chicken , some kind of Savoury Pancake. Can say, my first
Nasi Lemak and Lamb Stew @ All Stars Cafe , Mid Valley 2007-11-22 19:20:00 When we walked past All Stars Cafe on day looking for a place to eat, we noticed a little Standee outside the restaurant. This "pub" actually serves lunch !! So we walked in and sat down. I had no idea before that day that All Stars serves lunch, let alone be open during lunch time. Did you know ?We did get our orders into the kitchen, and we did not have to wait very long before our food came out. I asked for a Lamb Stew dish, with rice, while Sayang ordered her Nasi Lemak. The food turned out to be quite tasty, which otherwise would have totally ruined our lunch.Lamb Stew Set with RiceTheir lamb stew dish came with a bowl of butter rice, lamb stew and a generous helping of steamed salads. The taste of the lamb stew was abit salty, but I believe everyone makes it that way. I have no idea why. The lamb was not overcooked, and found the meat to be rather tender. It almost tasted like the Irish Lamb stew, which can be found at Secret Recipe.Sayang's Nasi Lemak came with a piece Read more: Valley
Ampang TYF @ Orchard View, Ampang 2007-11-21 11:28:00 Usually I won't drive all the way down to the old Ampang Village area just to get some YTF. But that day I was picking up some stuff for work, and thought it might be nice to actually eat some YTF in the real place itself. Even though some might say Orchard
View is not the original shop that served YTF, but they do look the most organized. This lady is preparing Sui Kao - for frying / soup. You know they are good when they openly prepare their YTF infront of you. It means you get them fresh, and hot.The kitchen staff busy frying those sui kaos, and yong tao foos. This place is very organized. They have a system for , sending food out from the kitchen, and a system to validate your order when you pay. These fellas should actually document their system and patent it. Its like they run everything with a SOP in mind.Thats what I ordered, a 10 piece assorted platter of YTF (in other words 10 kin cham cham, lol). What can I say, their fish paste is quite alright, really can't find
Banana Leaf Rice @ Restoran Sri Kortumalai , Brickfields 2007-11-20 09:35:00 It was a Saturday afternoon, and for some reason, we'd wanted to try some banana leaf rice in Brickfields. Since we were in MidValley already, why not, its just a short drive down the Federal Highway. When we arrived at the vicinity of the restaurant (near the Seri Kota junction), we were greeted by a massive traffic jam. We were quite lucky because we saw an empty space infront of those shops. Its roughly about one month before Deepavali, and the traders had already begun setting up stalls by the roadside, vending festive goods, decors and stuff for the coming Deepavali celebrations, that definitely did not help with the traffic. We were very lucky to get that space for our car.The restaurant is actually situated at the corner near the junction. We sat ourselves down and did notice quite a lot of people already enjoying their banana leaf rice, eating with their hands. For me, I have yet to acquire the skills of eating with my hands yet ( it gets messy), but I reckon I w
