My Trip to The Aquarium 2007-06-28 21:29:00 I wanted to go on an adventure for my summer break so one day I took a trip to Adventure Aquarium
. I felt happy about going to the waterfront. I had went inside to see the underwater animals. I wanted to see everything there.In the aquarium I saw sharks, jelly fish, penguins, needle fish, sea dragons. I was excited to see the sharks. I did a project about sharks a long time ago. The shark was bigger than a great white sharks. I think I saw thirty sharks. Some other sharks weighed over 100,000 pounds. I thought the sharks were cool. I wanted to see the sharks in person. I saw people swimming with the sharks in the shark realm. I didn't swim with them because I was too young. You have to be twelve years old or older to swim with the sharks. Most of the jelly fish were blue and they are called moon jelly fish. The pink jelly fish gave birth. I had a chance to touch them. I touched them with two fingers. They were squooshy. The penguins stood on a little island around water. They eat fish
The Spelling Bee, I Won 1st Place 2007-06-20 13:58:00 By: Deron BanksOne day on June15, 2007, when I was in school we were having a spelling bee. There were four spelling bee rounds. When the first round started I felt excited. On my turn I had to spell the word that was given to me. I spelled them out loud. The others lost because they messed up. I won by spelling all the words right. I won an achievement award and a ribbon. Everybody told me, "congratulations". They were happy when I won. I said, "thanks".That is the certificate that was awarded to me for being the spelling bee champ.Here is another way to have a spelling bee...When the first round starts everyone in the class can write some words on a sheet of paper. Then, we can spell the words when it is our turn. If you spell the last word wrong you should correct the word before it is noticed.In the second round, we can use the paper like in the first round. I felt sad because I thought I'd never get it.I did alot of practicing. I rode from street to street to practice. I tried to get as much help as I could get.
